Abstract

Dans le dépot électrolytique en continu de chrome métallique et d'oxyde de chrome sur des surfaces métalliques, on obtient le dépot simultané du chrome et de son oxyde, inerte et insoluble, du meme bain et à une densité de courant élevée, en utilisant plusieurs cycles d'imposition de courant cathodique et des gammes de vitesse de l'électrolyte dans la cellule de dépot déterminées. On obtient ainsi un produit dans lequel un rapport quantitatif particulier entre le chrome métallique et l'oxyde de chrome assure une résistance à la corrosion supérieure à celle qui peut etre obtenue dans les produits connus.
