Abstract
The present invention discloses a method for sowing and raising seedlings of
Euonymus phellomanus Loes., which belongs to the technical field of Euonymus
phellomanus Loes. planting. The method for sowing and raising seedlings of
Euonymus phellomanus Loes. disclosed by the present invention comprises the steps
of: placing seeds in the shade and keeping the seeds moisturized after harvesting in
mid-August, and hulling the seeds in time when possible; soaking in 40°C warm water
for 24 hours, changing the 40°C warm water to continue soaking for another 24 hours,
and rubbing off outer waxy layers; washing with 2% edible soda water for 3 times,
then soaking in a 0.5% potassium permanganate solution for 2 hours, and sowing
directly in field on the same day after washing. The method of the present invention
minimizes water loss of the seeds, and does not need to undergo stratification and
hormone treatment, which is beneficial to quickly releasing seed dormancy of
Euonymus phellomanus Loes. and improving germination rate and seedling
emergence rate, can shorten seedling emergence period by 1-2 years, and is suitable
for popularization in planting.

Description
Description
Technical Field The present invention relates to the technical field of Euonymus phellomanus Loes. planting, and in particular to a method for sowing and raising seedlings of Euonymus phellomanus Loes..
Background Euonymus phellomanus Loes. is a deciduous shrub in the genus of Euonymus and the family of Celastraceae, which is also known as ramulus euonymi. Euonymus phellomanus Loes. has a height of about 4 meters. Branches thereof are nearly four sided, hard and straight. Euonymus phellomanus Loes. has 2-4 soft wood wings with a gray-brown color, opposite leaves in a long oval or slightly oval oblanceolate shape, purple flowers forming a cyme, 2-3 branches, and 7-15 flowers. Fruits thereof are four-sided capsules, rounded heart-shaped, 7-9 mm long, 1 cm in diameter, and pink. Euonymus phellomanus Loes. is born in forest margins and riparian bushes at an altitude of more than 2000 meters. The wood thereof is dense, white and tough, and can be used to make bows, sticks and dowels. The branches thereof can be used medicinally, and is called "ramulus euonymi" as a traditional Chinese medicine, which helps blood flow and has a function of reducing swelling. Euonymus phellomanus Loes. can be used as a shrub for foliage viewing and fruit viewing in a garden. Euonymus phellomanus Loes. is reproduced by seeds, and the growth rate is slow mainly because that a long dormant period of seeds affects seed germination. Therefore, the problem to be urgently solved by those skilled in the art is to provide a method for sowing and raising seedlings of Euonymus phellomanus Loes., which can relieve seed dormancy and promote seed germination.
Summary In view of this, the present invention provides a method for sowing and raising seedlings of Euonymus phellomanus Loes., which can quickly and effectively relieve seed dormancy and promote seed germination. To achieve the above purpose, the present invention adopts the following
Description
technical solution: A method for sowing and raising seedlings of Euonymus phellomanus Loes., comprising the following specific steps: (1) Placing seeds in the shade and keeping the seeds moisturized after harvesting in mid-August, and hulling the seeds in time when possible, so as to minimize water loss of the seeds;
(2) Soaking in 40°C warm water for 24 hours, changing the 40 °C warm water to
continue soaking for another 24 hours, and rubbing off outer waxy layers; (3) Washing with 2% edible soda water for 3 times, then soaking in a 0.5% potassium permanganate solution for 2 hours, and sowing directly in field on the same day after washing. It can be known from the above technical solution that, compared with the prior art, the present invention provides a method for sowing and raising seedlings of Euonymus phellomanus Loes.. The method of the present invention minimizes water loss of the seeds, "only need to hull the seeds", and does not need to undergo stratification and hormone treatment; wet seeds is sown in time, which is beneficial to quickly releasing seed dormancy of Euonymus phellomanus Loes. and improving germination rate and seedling emergence rate, can shorten seedling emergence period by 1-2 years, and is suitable for popularization in planting.
Detailed Description The technical solution in embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and fully described below. Apparently, the described embodiments are merely part of the embodiments of the present invention, not all of the embodiments. Based on the embodiments in the present invention, all other embodiments obtained by those ordinary skilled in the art without contributing creative labor will belong to the protection scope of the present invention. Embodiment 1 A method for sowing and raising seedlings of Euonymus phellomanus Loes., comprising the following specific steps: (1) Placing seeds in the shade and keeping the seeds moisturized after harvesting in mid-August, and hulling the seeds in time when possible, so as to minimize water loss of the seeds;
