Abstract
Un proceso para la producción de un material no derivatizado de nanocelulosa a partir de un material fibroso celulósico, lo que comprende las etapas de proporcionar una suspensión de material fibroso celulósico en una fase continua de líquido no acuoso para el proceso, líquido que consta de un agente de hinchamiento y de un disolvente para procesamiento; permitir que el material fibroso celulósico se hinche, de manera de formar una suspensión de material fibroso celulósico hinchado en una fase continua de líquido no acuoso para el proceso; como opción, refinar la mencionada suspensión de material fibroso celulósico hinchado en una fase continua de líquido no acuoso para el proceso, para aumentar la finura del material fibroso celulósico hinchado; eliminar del líquido del proceso al agente de hinchamiento, de manera tal de formar una suspensión de material fibroso celulósico en una fase continua del disolvente de procesamiento; someter el material fibroso celulósico hinchado y refinado de modo optativo, a una molienda por alto cizallado, de manera de liberar del material fibroso celulósico hinchado y refinado de modo optativo, el material de nanocelulosa no derivatizado, y hacerlo de manera tal de formar una dispersión de material no derivatizado de nanocelulosa en una fase continua de un disolvente para procesamiento; poner en contacto la dispersión de material no derivatizado de nanocelulosa en una fase continua de un disolvente para procesamiento, con un fluido supercrítico, de manera tal de eliminar el disolvente para procesamiento y aislar el material no derivatizado de nanocelulosa, donde el fluido supercrítico es, de preferencia, dióxido de carbono o amoniaco; que se caracteriza porque el agente de hinchamiento es una mezcla de baja temperatura de transición (LTTM) y, en particular, un disolvente eutéctico profundo, y la mencionada mezcla de baja temperatura de transición y, en particular, el mencionado disolvente eutéctico profundo, es soluble en el disolvente para procesamiento y donde el disolvente para procesamiento es no solubilizante para el material fibroso celulósico y el material no derivatizado de nanocelulosa.
