Abstract
processo para a produção de um material de nanocelulose não derivatizado a partir de um material fibroso celulósico, compreendendo as etapas de: prover uma suspensão de material fibroso celulósico numa fase contínua de um líquido de processo não aquoso compreendendo um agente de intumescimento e um solvente de processamento; permitir que o material fibroso celulósico inche de modo a formar uma suspensão uma suspensão de material fibroso celulósico inchado numa fase contínua de líquido de processo não aquoso; opcionalmente refinar a dita suspensão de material fibroso celulósico inchado numa fase contínua de líquido de processo não aquoso para aumentar a finura do material fibroso celulósico inchado; remover o agente de intumescimento do líquido de processo de modo a formar uma suspensão uma suspensão de material fibroso celulósico numa fase contínua de líquido de processo; submeter o material fibroso celulósico inchado e opcionalmente refinado a fragmentação de alto cisalhamento de modo a liberar o material de nanocelulose não derivatizado do material fibroso celulósico inchado e opcionalmente refinado e de modo a formar uma dispersão de material de nanocelulose não derivatizado numa fase contínua de um solvente de processo; contatar a dispersão de material de nanocelulose não derivatizado numa fase contínua de um solvente de processo com um fluido supercrítico de modo a remover o solvente de processo e isolar o material de nanocelulose não derivatizado, sendo que o fluido supercrítico é preferivelmente amônia ou dióxido de carbono supercrítico, caracterizado pelo fato de o agente de intumescimento ser uma mistura de baixa temperatura de transição (lttm) e em particular um solvente eutético profundo e a dita mistura de baixa temperatura de transição (lttm) e em particular o dito solvente eutético profundo ser solúvel no solvente de processo e o solvente de processo ser não solubilizante para o material fibroso celulósico e para o material de nanocelulose não derivatizado.
