Abstract
Esta invencion se relaciona con un proceso para preparar un catalizador a partir de zeolita y alumina peptizada. La invencion comprende agregar un compuesto de itrio a la zeolita, ya sea antes, durante o después de su combinacion con la alumina peptizada. El compuesto de itrio puede agregarse a la zeolita mediante el intercambio de itrio sobre la zeolita antes de agregar la alumina peptizada, o el itrio puede agregarse como una sal soluble durante la combinacion de la zeolita y la alumina peptizada. En cualquiera de las realizaciones, el catalizador de zeolita se forma luego a partir de la zeolita, el itrio y la alumina peptizada, opcionalmente contiene otro oxido inorgánico. Esta invencion es adecuada para preparar catalizadores para craqueo fluido.
