Abstract

Un método para formar un material macroparticulado recubierto con capas multiples, que incluye los siguientes pasos: mezclar un primer polímero termoplástico con un sustrato en macropartículas para formar una mezcla a una temperatura superior a un punto de fusion del primer polímero termoplástico; enfriar la mezcla hasta una temperatura inferior al punto de fusion del primer polímero termoplástico; combinar la mezcla enfriada con un segundo polímero termoplástico, en donde un punto de fusion del segundo polímero termoplástico es inferior a la temperatura de la mezcla enfriada; y enfriar la mezcla combinada hasta una temperatura inferior al punto de fusion del segundo polímero. En otro aspecto, las realizaciones aquí descriptas se refieren a un material macroparticulado que posee: un sustrato macroparticulado recubierto con una primera capa que comprende un primer polímero termoplástico y una segunda capa que comprende un segundo polímero termoplástico; en donde un punto de fusion del primer polímero termoplástico es superior a un punto de fusion del segundo polímero termoplástico.
