Abstract

Composiciones y métodos para conferir actividad plaguicida a bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos vegetales y semillas, Se proveen composiciones que comprenden una secuencia codificante de polipéptidos plaguicidas. Las secuencias codificantes se pueden usar en construcciones de ADN o en casetes de expresion para su transformacion y expresion en plantas y bacterias. Las composiciones también comprenden bacterias, plantas, células vegetales, tejidos vegetales y semillas transformadas. En particular, se proveen moléculas aisladas de ácido nucleico plaguicida contra una plaga de lepidopteros, coleopteros, nematodos o dípteros. Además, abarca las secuencias de aminoácidos correspondientes a los polinucleotidos. En particular, se provee moléculas aisladas de ácido nucleico que comprenden secuencias de nucleotidos que codifican la secuencia de aminoácidos que se muestran en la SEQ ID N°:5, 2 o 10, la secuencia de nucleotidos que se indica en la SEQ ID N°:4, 1, 3, 4, 6, 9 u 11 o la secuencia de nucleotidos depositada en un huésped bacteriano con el N° Acceso B-50045, así como variantes y fragmentos de las mismas.
