Abstract
Se proveen composiciones y métodos para conferir actividad nematicida a bacterias, plantas, células, tejidos y semillas de plantas. Se proveen composiciones incluyen una secuencia de codificación para polipéptidos nematicidas. Las secuencias de codificación pueden ser usadas en construcciones de ADN o cassettes de expresión para la transformación y expresión en plantas y bacterias. Las composiciones además incluyen bacterias, plantas, células de plantas, tejidos y semillas transformadas. En particular, se proveen moléculas de ácido nucleico nematicidas aisladas. Además, se contemplan secuencias de aminoácidos que corresponden a los polinucleótidos. En particular, la presente invención provee moléculas de ácido nucleico aisladas que incluyen secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican la secuencia de aminoácidos ilustrada en la ID. de SEC. Nro. 4, 5, 8, 9, 13, 14, 47, 48, o 49, la secuencia de nucleótidos establecida en la ID. de SEC. Nro. 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 45, o 46, así como variantes y fragmentos de las mismas.
