En particular, se proveen moléculas de ácido nucleico nematicidas de genes de polifenol oxidasa, además, se contemplan secuencias de aminoácidos que corresponden a los polinucleótidos. En particular, provee moléculas de ácido nucleico aisladas que incluyen secuencias de nucleótidos que codifican la secuencia de aminoácidos ilustrada en la ID. De SEC. Ns: 4, 5, 8, 9, 13, 14, 47, 48, o 49, la secuencia de nucleótidos establecida en la ID de SEC. Ns: 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 15, 45, o 46, así como variantes y fragmentos de las mismas.
