Abstract
Se revela un catalizador de polimerizacion de olefinas híbrido auto-soportado que comprende un componente de Ziegler-Natta y un componente de metaloceno,en donde el componente de metaloceno está fijado al componente Ziegler-Natta. En el catalizador h íbrido, el componente Ziegler-Natta incluye un complejo solidode magnesio, un metal de transicion y mitades alcoxido, en donde el metal de transicion es seleccionado entre uno o más metales que tienen un estado deoxidacion de +3, +4, +5, y mezlcas de los mismos. Se revela también un método para preparar el catalizador híbrido y un método para polimerizar olefinas usandoel catalizador híbrido. El catalizador híbrido es capaz de producir olefinas que tienen una amplia distribucion de peso o bimoda l con alto rendimiento.
