Abstract
Se revela un novedoso proceso de polimerizacion en fase líquida para la preparacion de un producto poliolefínico que posee propiedades preseleccionadas. Elproceso incluye los pasos de provision de un caudal base líquido que comprende por lo menos uncomponente olefínico y una composicion catalizadora constituidapor un complejo estable de BF3 y un agente formador de complejos para el mismo. El caudal base puede comprender una o más olefinas que incluyen a las olefinasramificadas comoisobutileno, alfa olefinas lineales C3-15, y olefinas reactivas C4-15 que no son alfa olefinas. El caudal base y la composicion catalizadorason introducidos en una mezcla de reaccion residual en recirculacion en una zona de reaccion de un reactor encircuito cer rado provista en el lado de los tubosde un intercambiador de calor del tipo con coraza y tubos bajo una velocidad de recirculacion suficiente como para provocar la mezcla íntima de dicha mezcla dereaccion residual con el caudal base yla composicion catalizadora incorporados. El calor de la reaccion de polimerizacion es removido de la mezcla de reaccioníntimamente combinada en recirculacion en dicha zona de reaccion a una velocidad calculada como para conseguir una temperatura dereaccion sustan cialmenteconstante. Las condiciones en el reactor son las apropiadas para provocar que los componentes olefínicos introducidos en dicho caudal base sean sometidos a unapolimerizacion tendiente a formar el producto poliolefínicodeseado en presencia d e la composicion catalizadora. De la zona de reaccion se extrae un caudal deproducto que contiene el producto poliolefínico deseado. Se controlan la introduccion del caudal base en la zona de reaccion y la extraccion delcaudal deproducto de la misma de modo que el tiempo de residencia de los componentes olefínicos sometidos a polimerizacion en la zona de reaccion resulte adecuado parala produccion del producto poliolefínico deseado.
