Abstract
Polvo de cobre de gran área superficial y baja densidad con una densidad aparente del orden de 0,20 a 0,60 g/cm3, y un área superficial de al menos 0,5m2/g. Esta también se refiere a un procedimiento de electrodeposicion para hacer el polvo de cobreanterior electrodepositando el polvo de cobre de unasolucion de electrolito utilizando una combinacion crítica de parámetros de procedimiento. Dichos parámetros críticos incluyen: una concentracion de ionescobre para la solucion de electrolito delor den de 2 a 7 g/l; una concentracion de iones cloruro libre para la solucion de electrolito del orden de 8 a 20 ppm;un nivel de impurezas para la solucion de electrolito no superior a 1,0 g/l; y una solucion de electrolito que está libre deaditivos o rgánicos. Unprocedimiento para la obtencion de dicho polvo de cobre que incluye las etapas de (A) poner en contacto un material cuprífero con una cantidad efectiva de almenos una solucion acuosa de lixiviacion para disolver iones cobre endicha soluc ion de lixiviacion y formar una solucion acuosa de lixiviacion rica en cobre;(B) poner en contacto dicha solucion acuosa de lixiviacion rica en cobre con una cantidad efectiva de al menos un extractor insoluble en agua paratransfeririones cobre desd e dicha solucion acuosa de lixiviacion rica en cobre a dicho extractor para formar un extractor rico en cobre y una solucion acuosa delixiviacion con cobre agotado; (C) separar dicho extractor rico en cobre de dichasolucion acuosa de lixiviacion con cobre agotado; (D) poner en contacto dichoextractor rico en cobre con una cantidad efectiva de al menos una solucion acuosa de lavado para transferir iones cobre desde dicho extractor a dicha solucionde lavado paraformar una solucion de lavado rica en cobre y un extractor con cobre agotado; (E) separar dicha solucion de lavado rica en cobre de dichoextractor con cobre agotado, siendo dicha solucion de lavado rica en cobre una solucion de electrolito; (F)hacer fluir dicha solucion de electroli to entre unánodo y un cátado, y aplicar una cantidad efectiva de voltae a través de dicho ánodo y dicho cátodo para depositar dicho polvo de cobre sobre dicho cátodo,
