Abstract

Un elemento estructural reforzado que comprende una seccion acanalada que presenta una carcasa de refuerzo local, delgada, separada de la misma por unacapa de espuma estructural. En la seccion reforzada se utiliza una geometría de arco. Dichoa rco se extiende en direccion opuesta a la fuerza a la cual sesomete el elemento. El arco puede estar presente como el elemento acanalado, la carcasa de refuerzo,o ambos. Una porcion de la carcasa entra en contacto conel elemento acanalado y sefij a a éste a través de una soldadura u otro medio de sujecion.El método para obtener dicho elemento estructural comprende laconformacion de una capa de espuma estructural en un punto de refuerzo localizado sobre un elementoacanalado,colocac ion de una carcasa de refuerzo engeneral en la parte media del elemento acanalado, colocacion de la capa de espuma estructural contra el elemento acanalado o la carcasa de refuerzoy adhesion de la misma a la piezaseleccionada, y adhesion de la espuma estructural a la otra pieza, es decir al elemento acanalado o la carcasa seguncorresponda, a fin de crear una region trilaminar que presenta una superficie en forma de arco.
