Abstract
Composiciones aglutinantes inorgánicas no cocidas para material particulado aglutinante y método para curar dichos aglutinantes inorgánicos. Laascomposiciones aglutinantes inorgánicas están formadas por componentes de silicato y de fosfato.La s composiciones no cocidas contienen además uncatalizador de curado, tal como un catalizador seleccionado del grupo formado por carbonatos alifáticos, carbonatos alquilénicos ciclicos, ésteres de ácidocarboxílico alifático, ésteres de ácidocarboxí lico alifático, ésteres de ácidos carboxílicos ciclicos, ésteres de fosfatos y mezcla de los mismos. LaComposición produce un aglutinante que tiene propiedades ventajosas de resistencia de un sistema aglutinante de silicatocon propied ades de rotura enagua de un sistema de aglutinantes de fosfato. Así, en relación con un sistema de aglutinantes de silicato, la presente invención ha mejorado el vaciadomecánico y la colapsibilidad en el agua. Además en relación con elsistema convencional de aglutinantes de fosfato, la presente invención tiene unaresistencia al calor superior, es decir, los núcleos y moldes de fundición no se ablandan a temperaturas elevadas. Los métodos para hacer y usar lascomposicionesaglutinantes y los productos resultantes son de especial interés para la técnica de la fundición.
