Abstract

El presente invento se relaciona con una cubierta de caucho formada por una carcasa de caucho reforzada con negro de humo que tiene una faja de rodamientode caucho que está reforzado sustancialmente con sílice y que,a su vez, tiene en susuperficie externa una cobertura exterior de caucho integral y quecontiene una cantidad substancial de negro de humo. En un aspecto, dicha cobert cobertura externa, que en algunos casos se denomina aquí cobertura superiorexterna, se extiende através de la sup erficie externa de la cubierta que normalmente está destinada a entrar en contacto con el suelo, y, según unaspecto alternativo, la cobertura superior externa se extiende sobre no más que la porción externa, a saber, losbordes periféricos de d icha superficie de lafaja de rodamiento destinada a entrar en contacto con el suelo. La cobertura superior de la faja de rodamiento, hecha de caucho reforzado con negro de humo,está conectada con al menos otro componentede caucho reforzado con ne gro de humo de la cubierta, de una manera como para proveer un paso de resistenciaeléctrica de valor reducido que desde dicha cobertura superior de la faja de rodamiento se extiende a la porción de talón de lacarcasa de la cubierta,establecien do por lo tanto tal paso desde el vehículo hasta la superficie del pavimento.
