Abstract

PURPOSE: To discharge effectively static electricity produced in vehicles or the like to the ground by embedding or attaching conductive materials in or to a tire body from bead to tread portions of a tire.
CONSTITUTION: A conductive material 2 is mounted on the beat portion 1 of a tire contacting a rim, and another conductive material connected to said material 2 and reaching the tread surface 5 of the tire is provided to be embedded 3 in the tire or attached to the surface 4 or to the inner surface 8 of the tire. Also, to improve the earth effect, a layer 7 containing a conductive material is provided inside tread grooves 6 and the tire. When such tire is attached to a vehicle, the wheel rim portion is earthed directly through the tire so that static electricity produced in vehicles or the like can be discharged effectively.
