しかし、第1のHEPAフィルタと第2のHEPAフィルタの2枚を設置する場合、設置面積が広くなり、省スペース化が困難であった。また、HEPAフィルタ交換時にHEPAフィルタで回収した汚染物質が再飛散すると、HEPAフィルタを通さずに汚染物質がそのまま機外に排気される可能性があった。
作業空間と、前記作業空間の前面の開口部の一部を覆う前面シャッタと、前記前面シャッタの下側の、作業者が手を入れて作業を行うことができる作業開口部と、前記作業空間の背面の下部に設けた、作業空間内の空気を吸い込む後部口と、前記作業空間の背面の後側に設けた、前記作業空間内の空気を排気する排気流路と、を有する安全作業装置であって、
前記排気流路内であって前記後部口の後側に、排気用の第1のHEPAフィルタを縦方向に配置し、前記排気流路内であって前記第1のHEPAフィルタの下流側に排気用の第2のHEPAフィルタを縦方向に配置したことを特徴とするものである。
通常動作時には、前記後部口に粗塵を回収するプレフィルタを取り付け、前記第1のHEPAフィルタの交換時には、前記プレフィルタを取り外し、バッグインバッグアウト型の第1のHEPAフィルタ交換口を前記後部口に取り付け可能に構成したことを特徴とするものである。
前記作業空間の背面であって、前記第2のHEPAフィルタの作業空間側に、バッグインバッグアウト型の第2のHEPAフィルタ交換口を取り付け可能に構成したことを特徴とするものである。
しかし、第2のHEPAフィルタ32は、安全キャビネット10の上方に設けられており、第2のHEPAフィルタ32は安全キャビネットとは別の収納ボックスを準備する必要があり、また、交換は高所作業となり、作業が困難であった。
しかし、図1の安全キャビネットと同様に、HEPAフィルタは横向きに設置しており、HEPAフィルタの捕集効率を維持するための通過風速以下に抑えるために、奥行きサイズを大きくしなければならず、機器の奥行幅を大きくする必要があった。
なお、実施例を説明するための各図において、同一の構成要素には同一の名称、符号を付して、その繰り返しの説明を省略することがある。
第1のHEPAフィルタ31の交換などその他の構成は、実施例1のドラフトチャンバーと同様である。

Claims (10)
- 作業空間と、前記作業空間の前面の開口部の一部を覆う前面シャッタと、前記前面シャッタの下側の、作業者が手を入れて作業を行うことができる作業開口部と、前記作業空間の背面の下部に設けた、作業空間内の空気を吸い込む後部口と、前記作業空間の背面の後側に設けた、前記作業空間内の空気を排気する排気流路と、を有する安全作業装置であって、
前記排気流路内であって前記後部口の後側に、排気用の第1のHEPAフィルタを縦方向に配置し、前記排気流路内であって前記第1のHEPAフィルタの下流側に排気用の第2のHEPAフィルタを縦方向に配置したことを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記第2のHEPAフィルタを、前記第1のHEPAフィルタを設置した面と同一平面上に配置したことを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記第2のHEPAフィルタを、前記第1のHEPAフィルタを設置した面よりも前記作業空間側にずらして配置したことを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記第1のHEPAフィルタの排気側に、安全キャビネットの背面に沿って前記第2のHEPAフィルタの吸気側に向かう、吸排気方向を反転する反転流路を備えることを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の安全作業装置において、
通常動作時には、前記後部口に粗塵を回収するプレフィルタを取り付け、
前記第1のHEPAフィルタの交換時には、前記プレフィルタを取り外し、バッグインバッグアウト型の第1のHEPAフィルタ交換口を前記後部口に取り付け可能に構成したことを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項5に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記第1のHEPAフィルタの交換時に、前記第1のHEPAフィルタは汚染側が下面となるようにビニールバッグに収納されることを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記作業空間の背面であって、前記第2のHEPAフィルタの作業空間側に、バッグインバッグアウト型の第2のHEPAフィルタ交換口を取り付け可能に構成したことを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項7に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記第2のHEPAフィルタの交換時に、前記第2のHEPAフィルタは清浄側が下面となるようにビニールバッグに収納されることを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項7に記載の安全作業装置において、
前記第2のHEPAフィルタ交換口を、上部を作業空間側に傾けて、斜めに配置したことを特徴とする安全作業装置。 - 請求項1に記載の安全作業装置において、
安全作業装置は、安全キャビネットまたはドラフトチャンバーであることを特徴とする安全作業装置。
