Definitions
- the present invention relates to a fuel hose, and more particularly to a fuel hose used for transporting fuel for automobiles and the like.
- hoses made by laminating and integrating multiple layers are used as fuel hoses used for transporting fuel for automobiles and the like.
- a laminated hose with an inner layer made of fluororubber with excellent low fuel permeability (barrier properties) and an outer layer made of hydrin rubber has been proposed.
- Polyol crosslinked fluororubbers tend to scorch (stain) due to the use of calcium hydroxide as a crosslinking promoter.
- the inner layer After extruding the inner layer of polyol-crosslinked fluororubber and the outer layer of hydrin rubber, if this laminate is stored in a raw rubber state, the inner layer will scorch (stain) at the adhesive interface between the inner and outer layers, resulting in It was found that during crosslinking, the reaction between the polyol crosslinked fluororubber and the hydrin rubber was inhibited, resulting in a decrease in the adhesion between the inner layer and the outer layer.
- the problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a fuel hose that has excellent adhesion between the inner layer of polyol crosslinked fluororubber and the outer layer of hydrin rubber even when stored in a raw rubber state after extrusion.
- the fuel hose according to the present invention is a fuel hose comprising a tubular inner layer and an outer layer provided in contact with the outer circumferential surface of the inner layer, the inner layer comprising the following (A) to (E).

- the tubular inner layer is composed of a crosslinked rubber composition containing the above (A) to (E), and the outer layer provided in contact with the outer peripheral surface of the inner layer is the above (F). It is composed of a crosslinked rubber composition containing ⁇ (G).
- the monoglyceride blended into the outer layer containing hydrin rubber tends to be unevenly distributed at the interface with the inner layer in the outer layer containing hydrin rubber, and appears at the adhesive interface between the inner layer and the outer layer.
- This monoglyceride suppresses the scorching (scorching) of the polyol-crosslinked fluororubber due to calcium hydroxide at the adhesive interface between the inner layer and the outer layer, so even if it is stored in the raw rubber state after extrusion, the inner layer of the polyol-crosslinked fluororubber and the hydrin Excellent adhesion of the outer layer of rubber.
- the outer layer further contains carbon black having a DBP absorption of 50 cm 3 /100 g or more and 120 cm 3 /100 g or less
- the monoglyceride is difficult to be adsorbed by the carbon black, and the monoglyceride is cross-linked with the polyol at the adhesive interface between the inner layer and the outer layer. It becomes easier to exert the effect of suppressing scorch (scorching) of fluororubber.
- the outer layer further contains an acid acceptor
- the acid generated by the decomposition of monoglyceride can be neutralized, and the crosslinking reaction is not inhibited, so that the adhesive strength between the inner layer and the outer layer is improved.
- the effect is particularly excellent when the acid acceptor is hydrotalcite.

- Example 1 A fuel hose was produced in the same manner as in Example 1 except that monoglyceride was not blended in the preparation of the rubber composition for forming the outer layer.
- (Fluorororubber composition) ⁇ Polyol crosslinked fluororubber (contains polyol crosslinking agent): “Daiel G558” manufactured by Daikin Industries ⁇ Calcium hydroxide: “Calvit” manufactured by Ohmi Chemical Industry ⁇ Triaryl isocyanurate: “Taike M-60” manufactured by Mitsubishi Chemical ⁇ Peroxide crosslinking agent: NOF “Perhexa 25B-40” ⁇ Magnesium oxide: “Kyowa Mag #150” manufactured by Kyowa Chemical Industry ⁇ Carbon black ⁇ 3>: “Seest GS” manufactured by Tokai Carbon (Hydrin-based rubber composition) ⁇ Hydrin-based rubber: “Epichromer CL” manufactured by Osaka Soda ⁇ Monoglyceride ⁇ 1> (glyceryl monooleate): Riken Vitamin "Rikemar XO-100", a linear unsaturated aliphatic hydrocarbon group with 17 carbon
- the produced fuel hose was evaluated for interlayer adhesion.
- the evaluation results are shown in Table 1 together with the formulation.
- interlayer adhesion is 2.4 N/mm or more, " ⁇ ”, and good when the interlayer adhesion is 1.6 N/mm or more and less than 2.4 N/mm, " ⁇ ", interlayer adhesion
- the case where the interlayer adhesion was 1.0 N/mm or more and less than 1.6 N/mm was rated as “fair”, and the case where the interlayer adhesive strength was less than 1.0 N/mm was rated as “poor”.
- Comparing Examples and Comparative Examples in Examples, a monoglyceride having an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 10 to 22 carbon atoms is blended in the outer layer containing hydrin rubber, whereas in Comparative Example 1, hydrin-based rubber is blended. In Comparative Example 2, monoglyceride was not blended in the outer layer containing the hydrin-based rubber, but the number of carbon atoms in the aliphatic hydrocarbon group was 9 or less. In No. 3, diglyceride rather than monoglyceride is blended in the outer layer containing hydrin rubber.
- Examples 1 to 3 show that when using a monoglyceride with an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 12 to 20 carbon atoms, the interlayer adhesion between the inner layer and the outer layer is particularly excellent. Recognize. Furthermore, from Examples 1 and 4, when the carbon black blended into the outer layer containing monoglyceride has a DBP absorption of 50 cm 3 /100 g or more and 90 cm 3 /100 g or less, the interlayer adhesion between the inner layer and the outer layer is particularly excellent. I understand that.
