Abstract

Description
本発明は、特定の顕色性化合物と特定の安定化剤(保存性向上剤)とを含む感熱記録用組成物、及び該組成物からなる感熱記録層を支持体上に有する感熱記録材料に関する。
感熱記録材料は、一般に発色性化合物と顕色性化合物とをそれぞれ分散媒中に微粒子状に分散化した後に両者を混合し、これに結合剤、増感剤、充填剤、滑剤等の添加剤を添加して塗工液を調製し、この塗工液を、紙、フィルム、合成紙等に塗布して得られる。得られた感熱記録材料に、サーマルヘッドを内蔵したサーマルプリンター等を用いて加熱を施すと、発色性化合物と顕色性化合物の一方または両者が溶融、接触して起こる化学反応によって印字部(発色部)が得られる。
感熱記録法は他の記録法と比較して、(1)記録時に騒音が出ない、(2)現像、定着の必要がない、(3)メンテナンスフリーである、(4)機械が比較的安価である等の利点を有することから、ファクシミリ分野、コンピューターのアウトプット、電卓などのプリンター分野、医療計測用のレコーダー分野、自動券売機分野、感熱記録型ラベル分野等に広く用いられている。

近年、感熱記録材料の用途は、小売店やスーパーマーケット等のPOSシステム化や交通機関の自動システム化に伴うラベル類、乗車券及び回数券等の分野で増加している。これらの用途においては、水、温水、熱、油、可塑剤、アルコール等に対する印字部の耐性や、発色前の未印字部(地肌)の保存安定性が求められている。また、高速記録に対する要求が一段と高まっており、この要求に十分対応できる、熱応答性に優れた感熱記録材料の開発が強く望まれている。熱応答性を高めるためには、一般的に融点が低く、融解熱の小さい顕色性化合物が必要となるが、このような顕色性化合物を用いた場合、製造時、使用時または保管時において感熱記録材料の未印字部(地肌)が黒ずむ、いわゆる地肌かぶりと呼ばれる現象が起こり易くなる。このため、熱応答性を高めながら、地肌の安定性も向上した感熱記録材料が求められている。
一般にフェノール性水酸基を有する顕色性化合物は顕色能が高く、中でもビスフェノール系化合物は、発色濃度の高さから数多くの報告がなされており、2,2-ビス(4-ヒドロキシフェニルプロパン)(ビスフェノールA)(特許文献1)及び4,4’-ジヒドロキシジフェニルスルホン(ビスフェノールS)(特許文献2)等が提案されている。しかしながら、これらの化合物は融点が高いために熱応答性に劣るのに加え、印字部が耐水性に劣る欠点を有する。また、ビスフェノールA等のフェノール系化合物は、エンドクリン問題からその使用が問題視されている。したがって、フェノール構造を含まない、非フェノール系の顕色性化合物が要望されている。
このような要望に対し、非フェノール系の顕色性化合物として、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミド(特許文献3)、及びN-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素(特許文献4)が提案されている。
N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドを顕色性化合物として含む感熱記録材料は耐熱性に優れており、地肌かぶりも起こり難く地肌の安定性は非常に良好である。しかしながら、この化合物を含む感熱記録材料では、熱応答性、ならびに印字部の保存安定性は必ずしも満足できるものではなく、特に油、および可塑剤に対する印字部の耐性の向上が望まれている。
また、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を含む感熱記録材料では、印字部の耐温水性は必ずしも充分なものではなく、地肌かぶりが生じ易く地肌の安定性も充分ではない。このため、これらの性能のさらなる向上が望まれている。
また、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を含む感熱記録材料では、印字部の耐温水性は必ずしも充分なものではなく、地肌かぶりが生じ易く地肌の安定性も充分ではない。このため、これらの性能のさらなる向上が望まれている。
本発明は、顕色剤として非フェノール系化合物を含む従来の感熱記録材料の問題を改善すること、より具体的には、顕色剤として非フェノール系化合物を含む感熱記録材料において、熱応答性、ならびに印字部および地肌の安定性が改善された感熱記録材料を提供することを目的とする。
本発明者は、鋭意検討を重ねた結果、発色剤と共に、特定の非フェノール系化合物を顕色剤として含む感熱記録用組成物において、安定化剤(保存性向上剤)として1,3-ジフェニル尿素を含有させることで、上記の課題を解決することを新たに見出し、本発明を完成させるに至った。
即ち本発明は、

本発明による感熱記録材料は、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドを顕色性化合物として含む従来の感熱記録材料に対して、熱応答性、ならびに印字部の耐油性および耐可塑剤性の点で改善された特性を有する。
また、本発明による感熱記録材料は、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を含む従来の感熱記録材料に対して、熱応答性、地肌の安定性、ならびに印字部の耐温水性の点で改善された特性を有する。
また、本発明による感熱記録材料は、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を含む従来の感熱記録材料に対して、熱応答性、地肌の安定性、ならびに印字部の耐温水性の点で改善された特性を有する。
以下に本発明を実施形態に基づき詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施形態によって限定されるものではない。
感熱記録用組成物
本発明の感熱記録用組成物は、発色剤と顕色剤と安定化剤とを含み、顕色剤として、特定の顕色性化合物を含み、安定化剤として特定の安定化化合物を含む点を特徴とする。
本発明の感熱記録用組成物は、発色剤と顕色剤と安定化剤とを含み、顕色剤として、特定の顕色性化合物を含み、安定化剤として特定の安定化化合物を含む点を特徴とする。
本発明の感熱記録用組成物では、発色剤については特に制限はなく、一般に感圧記録紙や感熱記録紙に用いられる発色性化合物を用いればよい。
発色性化合物の具体例としては、フルオラン化合物、トリアリールメタン化合物、スピロ化合物、ジフェニルメタン化合物、チアジン化合物、ラクタム化合物、フルオレン化合物及びビニルフタリド化合物等が挙げられ、フルオラン化合物、トリアリールメタン化合物、アザフタリド化合物又はフルオレン化合物が好ましく、フルオラン化合物がより好ましい。これらの発色性化合物は単独もしくは混合して用いることができる。
発色性化合物の具体例としては、フルオラン化合物、トリアリールメタン化合物、スピロ化合物、ジフェニルメタン化合物、チアジン化合物、ラクタム化合物、フルオレン化合物及びビニルフタリド化合物等が挙げられ、フルオラン化合物、トリアリールメタン化合物、アザフタリド化合物又はフルオレン化合物が好ましく、フルオラン化合物がより好ましい。これらの発色性化合物は単独もしくは混合して用いることができる。
フルオラン化合物は、フルオラン骨格を有する化合物であり、本発明においては、一般に感熱記録紙の発色剤に用いられるフルオラン化合物であればよく、特に限定されない。

トリアリールメタン化合物は、トリアリールメタン骨格を有する化合物であり、本発明においては、一般に感熱記録紙の発色剤に用いられるトリアリールメタン化合物であればよく、特に限定されない。

スピロ化合物は、スピロ骨格を有する化合物であり、本発明においては、一般に感熱記録紙の発色剤に用いられるスピロ化合物であればよく、特に限定されない。
スピロ化合物の具体例としては、3-メチルスピロジナフトピラン、3-エチルスピロジナフトピラン、3,3’-ジクロロスピロジナフトピラン、3-ベンジルスピロジナフトピラン、3-プロピルスピロベンゾピラン、3-メチルナフト-(3-メトキシベンゾ)スピロピラン及び1,3,3-トリメチル-6-ニトロ-8’-メトキシスピロ(インドリン-2,2’-ベンゾピラン)等が挙げられる。

ジフェニルメタン化合物の具体例としては、N-ハロフェニル-ロイコオーラミン、4,4-ビス-ジメチルアミノフェニルベンズヒドリルベンジルエーテル及びN-2,4,5-トリクロロフェニルロイコオーラミン等が挙げられる。

フルオレン化合物の具体例としては、3,6-ビス(ジメチルアミノ)フルオレンスピロ(9,3’)-6’-ジメチルアミノフタリド、3,6-ビス(ジメチルアミノ)フルオレンスピロ(9,3’)-6’-ピロリジノフタリド及び3-ジメチルアミノ-6-ジエチルアミノフルオレンスピロ(9,3’)-6’-ピロリジノフタリド等が挙げられる。
ビニルフタリド化合物は、ビニルフタリド骨格を有する化合物であり、一般に感熱記録紙の発色剤に用いられるビニルフタリド化合物であればよく、特に限定されない。
ビニルフタリド化合物の具体例としては、3-[2,2-ビス(4-ジエチルアミノフェニル)ビニル]-6-ジメチルアミノフタリド(H-3035)及び3,3-ビス[2-(4-ジメチルアミノフェニル)-2-(4-メトキシフェニル)ビニル]-4,5,6,7-テトラクロロフタリド(NIR Black78)等が挙げられる。
ビニルフタリド化合物の具体例としては、3-[2,2-ビス(4-ジエチルアミノフェニル)ビニル]-6-ジメチルアミノフタリド(H-3035)及び3,3-ビス[2-(4-ジメチルアミノフェニル)-2-(4-メトキシフェニル)ビニル]-4,5,6,7-テトラクロロフタリド(NIR Black78)等が挙げられる。
本発明の感熱記録用組成物は、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミド又はN-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を顕色剤として含有し、且つ1,3-ジフェニル尿素を安定化剤(保存性向上剤)として含有する。
これら非フェノール系顕色化合物を含む従来の感熱記録材料では、熱応答性、ならびに印字部の耐油性、および耐可塑剤性、あるいは熱応答性、地肌の安定性、ならびに印字部の耐温水性の点で必ずしも充分な特性が得られていなかったが、本発明による感熱記録用組成物は、これら非フェノール系顕色化合物と共に1,3-ジフェニル尿素を安定化剤(保存性向上剤)として含有することで、これら従来の感熱記録材料に対して、熱応答性、ならびに印字部および地肌の安定性が改善された感熱記録材料を提供することができる。
これら非フェノール系顕色化合物を含む従来の感熱記録材料では、熱応答性、ならびに印字部の耐油性、および耐可塑剤性、あるいは熱応答性、地肌の安定性、ならびに印字部の耐温水性の点で必ずしも充分な特性が得られていなかったが、本発明による感熱記録用組成物は、これら非フェノール系顕色化合物と共に1,3-ジフェニル尿素を安定化剤(保存性向上剤)として含有することで、これら従来の感熱記録材料に対して、熱応答性、ならびに印字部および地肌の安定性が改善された感熱記録材料を提供することができる。
本発明の感熱記録用組成物は、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲であれば、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミド及びN-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素以外の顕色化合物を含んでもよい。他の顕色化合物としては、特に制限されるものではないが、例えばベンゾトリアゾール誘導体(ベンゾトリアゾール骨格を有する化合物、以下「XXX誘導体」とは、XXX骨格を有し、他の構造の点で異なり得る化合物を意味する)、サッカリン誘導体、スルホンアミド誘導体、マロンアミド誘導体、チオ尿素誘導体、スルホニルウレア誘導体及び芳香族カルボン酸誘導体等が挙げられる。
ベンゾトリアゾール誘導体の具体例としては、ベンゾトリアゾール、5-メチル-1H-ベンゾトリアゾール、4-メチル-1H-ベンゾトリアゾール、フェニル-6ベンゾトリアゾール、フェニル-5ベンゾトリアゾール、クロロ-5ベンゾトリアゾール、クロロ-5メチルベンゾトリアゾール、クロロ-5イソプロピル-7メチル-4ベンゾトリアゾール及びブロモ-5ベンゾトリアゾール等が挙げられる。
サッカリン誘導体の具体例としては、サッカリン、1-ブロモサッカリン、1-ニトロサッカリン及び1-アミノサッカリン等が挙げられる。
スルホンアミド誘導体の具体例としては、メタニルアニリド、N-フェニル-4-アミノベンゼンスルホンアミド、ネオウリロン、N-フェニル-3-ニトロベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-(4-メチル-2-ニトロフェニル)ベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-(2-メトキシフェニル)-p-ルエンスルホンアミド、N-(4-トキシフェニル)-p-トルエンスルホンアミド、N-(2-クロロフェニル)-p-トルエンスルホンアミド、N-(4-メチルフェニル)-4-メチルベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-(2-メチルフェニル)-p-トルエンスルホンアミド、N-フェニルベンゼンスルホンアミド、4-ブロモ-4’-メチルベンゼンスルホンアニリド、N-(4-ブロモフェニル)ベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-(3-ニトロフェニル)ベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-(4-ニトロフェニル)-4-メチルベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-(4-メチルフェニル)ベンゼンスルホンアミド、N-フェニル-p-トルエンスルホンアミド及びN-フェニルベンゼンスルホンアミド等が挙げられる。
マロンアミド誘導体の具体例としては、N,N’-ビス(2-ヒドロキシ-5-フェニル)フェニル-マロンアミド、N,N’-ジフェニルマロンアミド、N,N’-ビス(2,4,6-トリブロモフェニル)マロンアミド、N,N’-ビス(2-アミノフェニル)マロンアミド、N,N’-ビス(m-トリフルオロメチルフェニル)マロンアミド、N,N’-ビス(m-トリフルオロメチルフェニル)α、α-ジクロロマロンアミド及びジエチルマロンジアニリド等が挙げられる。
チオ尿素誘導体の具体例としては、1,3-ビス(4-メチルフェニル)チオ尿素、1,3-ビスフェニルチオ尿素、1,3-ビス(4-クロロフェニル)チオ尿素、1,3-ビス(4-メトキシフェニル)チオ尿素、N,N′-ビス(3-クロロフェニル)チオ尿素、1,3-ビス(3-メトキシフェニル)チオ尿素、1,3-ビス(3-メチルフェニル)チオ尿素、1,3-ビス(4-ベンジルフェニル)チオ尿素、1,3-ビス(4-ブロモフェニル)チオ尿素、1-フェニル-3-ブチルチオ尿素及び1-フェニル-3-エチルチオ尿素等が挙げられる。
スルホニルウレア誘導体の具体例としては、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-n-ブチルアミノスルホニルフェニル)尿素、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(4-トリメチルアセトフェニル)尿素、N-(ベンゼンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルフェニル)尿素、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-フェニルスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素、[3-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]=4-メチルベンゼンスルホナート、トルブタミド及びクロルプロパミド等が挙げられる。
芳香族カルボン酸誘導体の具体例としては、p-ヒドロキシ安息香酸ベンジル、p-ヒドロキシ安息香酸エチル、4-ヒドロキシフタル酸ジベンジル、4-ヒドロキシフタル酸ジメチル、5-ヒドロキシイソフタル酸エチル、3,5-ジ-t-ブチルサリチル酸、3,5-ジ-α-メチルベンジルサリチル酸及び芳香族カルボン酸若しくはその多価金属塩等が挙げられる。
本発明の感熱記録用組成物における顕色剤の含有量は、熱応答性と地肌の保存安定性の観点から、発色剤の含有量に対して、質量比(顕色剤:発色剤)で、通常1:10~10:1であり、好ましくは1:5~7:1であり、より好ましくは1:1~5:1であり、さらに好ましくは1.5:1~4:1であり、特に好ましくは2:1~3:1である。
尚、本発明の効果を損なわない範囲であれば、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドとN-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を顕色剤として併用してもよい。

また、本発明の感熱記録用組成物における顕色剤の含有量は、1,3-ジフェニル尿素の含有量に対して、質量比(顕色剤:1,3-ジフェニル尿素)で、通常3:4~5:1であり、好ましくは1:1~4:1であり、より好ましくは1:1~3:1であり、特に好ましくは6:5~2:1である。顕色剤と1,3-ジフェニル尿素の含有比率を前記の範囲とすることで、印字濃度(熱応答性)、印字部の可塑剤、油分および水分等に対する耐性の点で優れた特性を発揮することができる。
本発明の感熱記録用組成物は、必要に応じて、増感剤、1,3-ジフェニル尿素以外の安定化剤、結合剤、充填剤及びその他の添加剤等を含んでもよい。また、これらの任意成分は、感熱記録層が多層構造からなる場合には、本発明の感熱記録用組成物からなる層以外の層に含有させてもよい。また、感熱記録層の上部及び/または下部にアンダーコート層やオーバーコート層を設けた感熱記録材料とする場合には、これらの層に含有させることもできる。
増感剤(熱可融性化合物)の具体例としては、動植物性ワックス並びに合成ワックス等のワックス類、高級脂肪酸、高級脂肪酸アミド、高級脂肪酸アニリド、ナフタレン誘導体、芳香族エーテル、芳香族カルボン酸誘導体、芳香族スルホン酸エステル誘導体、炭酸若しくはシュウ酸ジエステル誘導体、ビフェニル誘導体、ターフェニル誘導体、スルホン誘導体、芳香族ケトン誘導体及び芳香族炭化水素化合物等が挙げられる。
ワックス類の具体例としては、木ろう、カルナウバろう、シェラック、パラフィン、モンタンろう、酸化パラフィン、ポリエチレンワックス及び酸化ポリエチレン等が挙げられ、高級脂肪酸の具体例としては、ステアリン酸及びベヘン酸等が挙げられる。高級脂肪酸アミドの具体例としては、ステアリン酸アミド、オレイン酸アミド、N-メチルステアリン酸アミド、エルカ酸アミド、メチロールベヘン酸アミド、メチレンビスステアリン酸アミド及びエチレンビスステアリン酸アミド等が挙げられ、高級脂肪酸アニリドの具体例としては、ステアリン酸アニリド及びリノール酸アニリド等が挙げられ、ナフタレン誘導体の具体例としては、1-ベンジルオキシナフタレン、2-ベンジルオキシナフタレン、1-ヒドロキシナフトエ酸フェニルエステル及び2,6-ジイソプロピルナフタレン等が挙げられる。芳香族エーテルの具体例としては、1,2-ジフェノキシエタン、1,4-ジフェノキシブタン、1,2-ビス(3-メチルフェノキシ)エタン、1,2-ビス(4-メチルフェノキシ)エタン、1,2-ビス(4-メトキシフェノキシ)エタン、1,2-ビス(3,4-ジメチルフェニル)エタン、1-フェノキシ-2-(4-クロロフェノキシ)エタン、1-フェノキシ-2-(4-メトキシフェノキシ)エタン、1,2-ジフェノキシメチルベンゼン及びジフェニルグリコール等が挙げられ、芳香族カルボン酸誘導体の具体例としては、p-ヒドロキシ安息香酸ベンジルエステル、p-ベンジルオキシ安息香酸ベンジルエステル及びテレフタル酸ジベンジルエステル等が挙げられる。芳香族スルホン酸エステル誘導体の具体例としては、p-トルエンスルホン酸フェニルエステル、フェニルメシチレンスルホナート、4-メチルフェニルメシチレンスルホナート及び4-トリルメシチレンスルホナート等が挙げられ、炭酸またはシュウ酸ジエステル誘導体の具体例としては、炭酸ジフェニル、シュウ酸ジベンジルエステル、シュウ酸ジ(4-クロロベンジル)エステル及びシュウ酸ジ(4-メチルベンジル)エステル類等が挙げられ、ビフェニル誘導体の具体例としては、p-ベンジルビフェニル及びp-アリルオキシビフェニル等がそれぞれ挙げられる。ターフェニル誘導体の具体例としては、m-ターフェニル等が挙げられ、スルホン誘導体の具体例としては、p-トルエンスルホンアミド、ベンゼンスルホンアニリド、p-トルエンスルホンアニリド及びジフェニルスルホン等が挙げられる。芳香族ケトン誘導体の具体例としては、4,4’-ジメチルベンゾフェノン及びジベンゾイルメタン等が挙げられ、芳香族炭化水素化合物の具体例としては、p-アセトトルイジン等が挙げられる。

その他の添加剤としては、例えばサーマルヘッドの磨耗防止、スティッキング防止等の目的で併用されるステアリン酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸カルシウム等の高級脂肪酸金属塩;酸化防止もしくは老化防止効果を付与する目的で併用されるフェノール誘導体、ベンゾフェノン系化合物、ベンゾトリアゾール系化合物等の紫外線吸収剤;各種の架橋剤、界面活性剤、消泡剤、等が挙げられる。これらの酸化防止剤または紫外線吸収剤は必要に応じて、マイクロカプセル化されていてもよい。
感熱記録用組成物における任意成分の含有量は、本発明の効果を損なわない限り特に限定されないが、感熱記録用組成物中に、増感剤が80質量%以下、安定化剤が、1,3-ジフェニル尿素とそれ以外の安定化剤の合計で30質量%以下、結合剤が90質量%以下、充填剤が80質量%以下、滑剤、界面活性剤、消泡剤及び紫外線吸収剤等のその他の添加剤が例えば30質量%以下が一応の目安である(質量%は各成分の固形分換算値である)。
感熱記録材料
本発明の感熱記録材料は、支持体と、当該支持体上に設けられた上述の感熱記録用組成物からなる感熱記録層とを備える。
支持体の材質及び形状は特に限定されないが、例えば、紙(例えば、普通紙、上質紙、コート紙、合成紙、ラミネート紙、古紙パルプ等の再生紙)、非発泡もしくは発泡プラスチック等の合成樹脂からなるフィルム及び不織布等が挙げられる。
支持体上に感熱記録層を設ける方法も特に限定されないが、例えば、水を分散媒体として用い、上述した発色性化合物、顕色性化合物および安定化剤として用いられる化合物を、それぞれ、ボールミル、アトライター、サンドミル又は高圧ジェットミル等の分散機で粉砕、分散して分散液を得、得られた各分散液、及び必要に応じて他の任意成分を混合して感熱記録用組成物の分散液を得、これを支持体上に塗布、乾燥して感熱記録層を作製することができる。感熱記録用組成物の分散液の塗布量は、特に制限はないが、乾燥後の感熱記録層の単位面積当たりの質量が1~20g/m2となる量とすることが好ましい。
本発明の感熱記録材料は、支持体と、当該支持体上に設けられた上述の感熱記録用組成物からなる感熱記録層とを備える。
支持体の材質及び形状は特に限定されないが、例えば、紙(例えば、普通紙、上質紙、コート紙、合成紙、ラミネート紙、古紙パルプ等の再生紙)、非発泡もしくは発泡プラスチック等の合成樹脂からなるフィルム及び不織布等が挙げられる。
支持体上に感熱記録層を設ける方法も特に限定されないが、例えば、水を分散媒体として用い、上述した発色性化合物、顕色性化合物および安定化剤として用いられる化合物を、それぞれ、ボールミル、アトライター、サンドミル又は高圧ジェットミル等の分散機で粉砕、分散して分散液を得、得られた各分散液、及び必要に応じて他の任意成分を混合して感熱記録用組成物の分散液を得、これを支持体上に塗布、乾燥して感熱記録層を作製することができる。感熱記録用組成物の分散液の塗布量は、特に制限はないが、乾燥後の感熱記録層の単位面積当たりの質量が1~20g/m2となる量とすることが好ましい。
支持体と感熱記録層との間には、必要に応じてアンダーコート層を設けてもよく、また、感熱記録層上にオーバーコート層を設けてもよい。アンダーコート層及びオーバーコート層は、例えば上記した感熱記録用組成物の顕色剤および発色剤以外の構成成分(例えば、結合剤やその他の添加剤)をその目的に応じて適宜選択して、感熱記録用組成物の分散液の調製方法と同様に破砕、分散して分散液を調製し、これを支持体または所定の層の上に塗布、乾燥して形成すればよい。アンダーコート層及びオーバーコート層用の分散液の塗布量は、特に制限はないが、乾燥後のアンダーコート層及びオーバーコート層の単位面積当たりの質量が0.1~10g/m2となる量を塗布することが好ましい。
アンダーコート層は、記録感度及び記録走行性をより高めるために有機顔料および無機顔料の少なくとも1種を含有することが好ましい。
アンダーコート層に用いられる無機顔料としては、サーマルヘッドへの粕付着とスティッキングを抑制する観点から、吸油性無機顔料が好ましい。また、吸油性無機顔料について特に制限はないが、吸油量が70ml/100g以上の吸油性無機顔料が好ましく、吸油量が70~150ml/100gの吸油性無機顔料がより好ましい。ここでいう吸油量は、JIS K 5101の方法に従い、求めることができる。
吸油性無機顔料としては、各種のものが使用できるが、例えば、焼成カオリン、酸化アルミニウム、炭酸マグネシウム、無定形シリカ、軽質炭酸カルシウム、タルク等が挙げられる。これらの吸油性無機顔料の一次粒子の平均粒子径は、0.01~5μmが好ましく、0.02~3μmがより好ましい。 吸油性無機顔料の含有量は、特に制限はなく広い範囲から選択できるが、一般にアンダーコート層の全固形分の2~95質量%が好ましく、5~90質量%がより好ましい。
吸油性無機顔料としては、各種のものが使用できるが、例えば、焼成カオリン、酸化アルミニウム、炭酸マグネシウム、無定形シリカ、軽質炭酸カルシウム、タルク等が挙げられる。これらの吸油性無機顔料の一次粒子の平均粒子径は、0.01~5μmが好ましく、0.02~3μmがより好ましい。 吸油性無機顔料の含有量は、特に制限はなく広い範囲から選択できるが、一般にアンダーコート層の全固形分の2~95質量%が好ましく、5~90質量%がより好ましい。
アンダーコート層に用いられる有機顔料は、特に制限はないが、プラスチック中空粒子が好ましい。プラスチック中空粒子は、記録感度を向上することができる。また、プラスチック中空粒子は、支持体上に留まって均一な下塗り層を形成することによりバリア性が向上するため、発色剤が可塑剤や中性紙に含まれるアルカリ填料と接触するのを妨げ、発色能の低下を抑えることができる。
プラスチック中空粒子としては、特に制限はないが、例えば、熱可塑性樹脂を殻とし、内部に気体を含有して既に中空状となっている非発泡性のプラスチック中空粒子、或いは内部に低沸点溶媒の発泡剤を含有して加熱により発泡し中空が形成される粒子が挙げられる。また、プラスチック中空粒子としては、特に制限はないが、例えば、膜材がアクリル系樹脂、スチレン系樹脂、または塩化ビニリデン系樹脂等からなる中空粒子を例示できる。また、プラスチック中空粒子の中空率は通常50~99%である。ここで中空率は、(d/D)×100で求められる値であり、式中、dはプラスチック中空粒子の平均内径を示し、Dはプラスチック中空粒子の平均外径を示す。プラスチック中空粒子の平均粒子径は0.5~10μmが好ましく、1~4μmがより好ましく、1~3μmが更に好ましい。平均粒子径を10μm以下とすることにより、アンダーコート層用塗液をブレード塗布法で塗布する場合に、ストリークやスクラッチ等のトラブルの原因とならず、良好な塗布適性を得ることができる。ここで、本願明細書に記載するプラスチック中空粒子の平均内径(d)、および平均外径(D)は、プラスチック中空粒子を走査型電子顕微鏡で撮影して得られる電子顕微鏡写真を用いて、内径(中空粒子の中空部の直径)及び外径の値からそれぞれ算出され、内径および外径は、それぞれ個々の粒子の最長の径を選択して決定される。また、平均粒子径は、レーザー回析/散乱式粒子径分布測定装置によるメディアン粒子径(D50値)をいう。

発色性の改良効果とバリア性を高める観点から、下限は5質量%以上がより好ましく、10質量%以上が更に好ましい。一方、サーマルヘッドへの粕付着を抑える観点から、上限は80質量%以下がより好ましく、70質量%以下が更に好ましく、60質量%以下が特に好ましく、50質量%以下が最も好ましい。
吸油性無機顔料をプラスチック中空粒子と併用する場合、吸油性無機顔料およびプラスチックの含有量は、それぞれ前記の範囲内とし、且つ吸油性無機顔料とプラスチック中空粒子の合計量が、アンダーコート層の全固形分の5~90質量%であることが好ましく、10~90質量%であることがより好ましく、10~80質量%であることが更に好ましい。
アンダーコート層は、一般に水を媒体として、プラスチック中空粒子、吸油性顔料等の顔料、結合剤、助剤等を混合、分散させて、アンダーコート層用塗液を調製し、調製された塗液を、支持体上に塗布、乾燥することによりすることができる。アンダーコート層用塗液の塗布量は、特に限定するものではないが、乾燥後のアンダーコート層の単位面積当たりの質量が3~20g/m2となる量が好ましく、5~12g/m2となる量がより好ましい。
アンダーコート層に含まれる結合剤は、感熱記録用組成物に含まれる結合剤として言及した水溶性高分子または疎水性高分子の中から適宜選択することができる。特に、塗膜強度を向上する観点から酸化澱粉、澱粉-酢酸ビニルグラフト共重合体、ポリビニルアルコール又はスチレン-ブタジエン共重合体等が好ましい。結合剤の含有量は、特に制限がなく広い範囲で選択できるが、一般にはアンダーコート層の全固形分の5~30質量%が好ましく、10~20質量%がより好ましい。
感熱記録材料には、必要に応じて支持体の感熱記録層とは反対側の面に顔料と結合剤を主成分とする裏面層を設けることができる。これにより、印字部及び未印刷部(地肌)の保存性を一層高めたり、カール適性やプリンター走行性を高めたりすることができる。また、裏面に粘着剤処理を施して粘着ラベルに加工したり、磁気記録層や印刷用塗被層、更には熱転写記録層やインクジェット記録層を設けたりする等、感熱記録体製造分野における各種の公知技術を必要に応じて付加し得る。
支持体上に各層を形成するための分散液または塗液を塗布する方法としては、特に限定されないが、例えばバーコーティング、エアナイフコーティング、バリバーブレードコーティング、ピュアブレードコーティング、ロッドブレードコーティング、ショートドウェルコーティング、カーテンコーティング、ダイコーティング等の方法が挙げられる。また、各分散液または塗液は1層ずつ塗布、乾燥して各層を形成してもよく、同一の分散液または塗液を分けて塗布、乾燥して、同一の組成物からなる2以上層を形成してもよい。更に2種以上の分散液または塗液を同時に塗布する同時多層塗布により2層以上層を形成してもよい。
アンダーコート層用塗液の塗布方法は、アンダーコート層の表面特性を向上する観点から、ブレード塗布法が好ましい。これにより、支持体の凹凸を無くして均一な厚みの感熱記録層を形成し、記録感度を高めることができる。また、品質面ではアンダーコート層の表面平滑性がより一層高められるため、感熱記録層用塗液の塗布均一性を高めてカーテン塗布することができ、必要により設けるオーバーコート層のバリア性を向上できる。ブレード塗布法は、ベベルタイプやベントタイプに代表されるブレードを使用した塗布法に限らず、ピュアブレードコーティング、ロッドブレード法やビルブレード法等も含まれる。
感熱記録層とオーバーコート層は、カーテンコーティング等により同時多層塗布して形成することが好ましい。これにより、均一な塗布層を形成してオーバーコート層のバリア性を向上でき、しかも生産性を高めることができる。カーテンコーティングとは、塗液を流下して自由落下させ支持体に非接触で塗布する方法であり、スライドカーテン法、カップルカーテン法、ツインカーテン法等の公知のものを採用することができ、特に制限されるものではない。また、特開2006-247611号公報(特許文献5)に記載のように、カーテンヘッドから塗液を下向きに噴出させて斜面上で塗液層を形成させ、斜面の終端部の下向きのカーテンガイド部から塗液のカーテンを形成してウエブ面上に塗液層を移行させることもできる。同時多層塗布では、各塗液を積層した後、塗布し、その後、乾燥させて各層を形成してもよいし、下層を形成する塗液を塗布した後、乾燥することなく下層塗布面が湿潤状態のうちに、下層塗布面上に上層を形成する塗液を塗布し、その後、乾燥させて各層を形成してもよい。
記録感度を高めて、画像均一性を向上する観点から、各層を形成し終えた後、または全ての層を形成し終えた後の任意の過程で、スーパーカレンダーやソフトカレンダー等の既知の方法を用いて平滑化処理を行っても良い。
本発明の感熱記録材料に情報を記録する方法は目的に応じて適宜選択すればよいが、例えば、サーマルヘッドプリンタ、CO2レーザー、半導体レーザー等が挙げられる。
以下、本発明を実施例によって更に具体的に説明するが、本発明は、以下の実施例によって何ら限定されるものではない。実施例中「部」は質量部、「%」は質量%を意味する。
尚、実施例における分散液のメディアン粒子径は、レーザー回析/散乱式粒子径分布測定装置 Microtrac MT3300EXII(マイクロトラック・ベル社製)により測定した。

1.感熱記録用組成物の分散液の調製及び感熱記録材料の作製
[実施例1]
(工程1)顕色剤の分散液[A]の調製
下記組成の混合物をアシザワ・ファインテック社製ビーズミル(ラボスターミニLMZ015)により粉砕、分散化して、メディアン粒子径が0.7μmのN-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドの分散液[A]を調製した。
尚、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドは、特許文献3の記載を参照して合成した。
[実施例1]
(工程1)顕色剤の分散液[A]の調製
下記組成の混合物をアシザワ・ファインテック社製ビーズミル(ラボスターミニLMZ015)により粉砕、分散化して、メディアン粒子径が0.7μmのN-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドの分散液[A]を調製した。
尚、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドは、特許文献3の記載を参照して合成した。
(工程2)1,3-ジフェニル尿素の分散液[B]の調製
下記組成の混合物をアシザワ・ファインテック社製ビーズミル(ラボスターミニLMZ015)により粉砕、分散化して、メディアン粒子径が1.0μmの1,3-ジフェニル尿素の分散液[B]を調製した。
下記組成の混合物をアシザワ・ファインテック社製ビーズミル(ラボスターミニLMZ015)により粉砕、分散化して、メディアン粒子径が1.0μmの1,3-ジフェニル尿素の分散液[B]を調製した。
(工程3)発色剤の分散液[C]の調製
下記組成の混合物をアシザワ・ファインテック社製ビーズミル(ラボスターミニLMZ015)により粉砕、分散化して、メディアン粒子径が1.0μmの発色剤の分散液[C]を調製した。
下記組成の混合物をアシザワ・ファインテック社製ビーズミル(ラボスターミニLMZ015)により粉砕、分散化して、メディアン粒子径が1.0μmの発色剤の分散液[C]を調製した。
(工程4)感熱記録用組成物の分散液の調製
上記で得られた各分散液[A]乃至[C]並びに炭酸カルシウム水分散液、ポリビニルアルコール水溶液およびステアリン酸亜鉛水分散液を以下の組成で混合して感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製した。

坪量50g/m2の上質紙上に乾燥時の発色剤の単位面積当たりの質量が0.5g/m2となる量の工程4で得られた感熱記録用組成物の分散液を塗布、乾燥した後、カレンダー処理をして、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/1である。
坪量50g/m2の上質紙上に乾燥時の発色剤の単位面積当たりの質量が0.5g/m2となる量の工程4で得られた感熱記録用組成物の分散液を塗布、乾燥した後、カレンダー処理をして、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/1である。
[実施例2]
工程4において、[B]液の含有量を11.1部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を8.4部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を22.5部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/2である。
工程4において、[B]液の含有量を11.1部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を8.4部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を22.5部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/2である。
[実施例3]
工程4において、[B]液の使用量を16.7部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の使用量を9.7部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の使用量を25.8部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/2である。
工程4において、[B]液の使用量を16.7部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の使用量を9.7部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の使用量を25.8部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/2である。
[実施例4]
工程4において、[B]液の含有量を22.3部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を10.9部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を29.2部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/4である。
工程4において、[B]液の含有量を22.3部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を10.9部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を29.2部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/4である。
[実施例5乃至8]
実施例1乃至4のそれぞれの工程1におけるN-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドを、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素に変更した以外は実施例1乃至4と同様にして、実施例5乃至8の感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料作製した。これらの例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、それぞれ、3/1、3/2、3/3、および3/4である。
尚、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素は、特許文献4の記載を参照して合成した。
実施例1乃至4のそれぞれの工程1におけるN-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドを、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素に変更した以外は実施例1乃至4と同様にして、実施例5乃至8の感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料作製した。これらの例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、それぞれ、3/1、3/2、3/3、および3/4である。
尚、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素は、特許文献4の記載を参照して合成した。
[比較例1]
工程4において、[B]液を用いず、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を5.9部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を15.8部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/0である。
工程4において、[B]液を用いず、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を5.9部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を15.8部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/0である。
[比較例2]
工程1におけるN-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミドを、N-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素に変更した以外は比較例1と同様にして、感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例でも、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、3/0である。

工程4において、[A]液を用いず、[B]液の含有量を16.7部に、67%炭酸カルシウム水分散液の含有量を5.9部に、12%ポリビニルアルコール水溶液の含有量を15.8部に変更した以外は実施例1と同様にして、比較用の感熱記録用組成物の分散液を調製し、感熱記録材料を作製した。この例では、顕色剤/1,3-ジフェニル尿素の質量比は、0/3である。

2.各感熱記録材料についての熱応答性、ならびに印字部および地肌の耐性評価

実施例1乃至8及び比較例1乃至3で作製した各感熱記録材料について、オオクラエンジニアリング株式会社製のサーマルプリンター(TH-M2/PP)を用いて印加エネルギー0.39mJ/dotで印字を行い、印字部の光学濃度(OD値)を反射濃度計(商品名:FD-7、コニカミノルタ株式会社製)を用いて下記の条件で測定した。印字濃度の数値が大きい程、印字の濃度が高く、熱応答性に優れることを意味する。結果を表1及び表2に示した。

[印字部及び地肌の各種耐性試験]
実施例1乃至8及び比較例1乃至3で得られた各感熱記録材料に、オオクラエンジニアリング株式会社製のサーマルプリンター(TH-M2/PP)を用いて印加エネルギー0.39mJ/dotで印字を行い、下記に示す各試験の処理条件での処理前後の印字部の光学濃度(OD値)及び地肌の白色度を反射濃度計(商品名:FD-7、コニカミノルタ株式会社製)を用いて測定した。光学濃度及び白色度の測定条件は上記「動的発色感度試験機による印字発色」における測定条件と同じである。
(1)耐湿熱性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料を、東京理化器械株式会社製の恒温恒湿器(商品名:エンビロスKCL-2000A型)を用いて40℃、90%R.H.及び50℃、80%R.H.でそれぞれ144時間保持した。
(2)耐水性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料を25℃の水中に24時間浸漬した。
(3)耐温水性試験の処理条件
印字したサンプルを40℃の温水中に24時間浸漬した。
(4)耐油性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料の印字部上に、綿実油を2滴垂らして25℃で2時間放置した。
(5)耐ハンドクリーム性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料の印字部上に、ハンドクリーム(ミネラルオイル、グリセリンを含む)を塗布し、25℃で4時間放置した。
(6)耐熱性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料を、ヤマト科学株式会社製の送風定温恒温器(商品名:DKM-600)を用いて60℃、70℃または80℃でそれぞれ144時間、または90℃で24時間保持した。
(7)耐アルコール性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料の上に、70%のエタノール水溶液を2滴垂らして30秒後に拭き取った。
(8)耐可塑剤性試験の処理条件
印字した各感熱記録材料に、塩化ビニルラップフィルム(可塑剤を含む)を1重に巻き付け、25℃で24時間保持した。
実施例1乃至8及び比較例1乃至3で得られた各感熱記録材料に、オオクラエンジニアリング株式会社製のサーマルプリンター(TH-M2/PP)を用いて印加エネルギー0.39mJ/dotで印字を行い、下記に示す各試験の処理条件での処理前後の印字部の光学濃度(OD値)及び地肌の白色度を反射濃度計(商品名:FD-7、コニカミノルタ株式会社製)を用いて測定した。光学濃度及び白色度の測定条件は上記「動的発色感度試験機による印字発色」における測定条件と同じである。

また、印字部については、下記式により各試験の処理後の印字部の残存率を算出した。
残存率(%)=(試験後の印字部の光学濃度)/(試験前の印字部の光学濃度)×100
残存率(%)=(試験後の印字部の光学濃度)/(試験前の印字部の光学濃度)×100
試験結果を表1及び表2に纏めて示す。尚、一般には、処理後の印字部の光学濃度が0.60OD値以上でなければ目視による判別が困難であり、また、処理後の地肌部の白色度は70以上であることが必要とされている。
表1及び表2の結果から、実施例1乃至8の感熱記録材料はいずれも、熱応答性、印字部の耐水性、耐温水性、耐油性、耐ハンドクリーム性、耐アルコール性、および耐可塑剤性、並びに地肌の耐熱性に優れ、顕色剤として非フェノール系化合物を含む従来の感熱記録材料に対して、熱応答性、ならびに印字部および地肌の安定性が改善されていることが示されている。

Claims (12)
- 発色剤と、顕色剤と、安定化剤とを含む感熱記録用組成物であって、該顕色剤として、N-[2-(3-フェニルウレイド)フェニル]ベンゼンスルホンアミド又はN-(p-トルエンスルホニル)-N’-(3-p-トルエンスルホニルオキシフェニル)尿素を含み、該安定化剤として、1,3-ジフェニル尿素を含む、感熱記録用組成物。
- 前記発色剤として、トリアリールメタン化合物、フルオラン化合物、アザフタリド化合物及びフルオレン化合物から成る群より選択される1種以上の化合物を含む、請求項1に記載の感熱記録用組成物。
- 前記発色剤として、3-ジエチルアミノ-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-(N-エチル-p-トルイジノ)-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-(N-エチル-N-イソアミルアミノ)-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-ジエチルアミノ-6-メチル-7-(o,p-ジメチルアニリノ)フルオラン、3-ピロリジノ-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-(シクロヘキシル-N-メチルアミノ)-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-ジエチルアミノ-7-(m-トリフルオロメチルアニリノ)フルオラン、3-N-n-ジブチルアミノ-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-ジエチルアミノ-6-メチル-7-(m-メチルアニリノ)フルオラン、3-N-n-ジブチルアミノ-7-(o-クロロアニリノ)フルオラン、3-(N-エチル-N-テトラヒドロフルフリルアミノ)-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-(N-エチル-N-エトキシプロピルアミノ)-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン、3-(N-エチル-N-イソブチルアミノ)-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオラン及び3-ジペンチルアミノ-6-メチル-7-アニリノフルオランから成る群より選択される1種以上のフルオラン化合物を含む、請求項2に記載の感熱記録用組成物。
- 前記顕色剤の含有量が、前記発色剤の含有量に対して、質量比(顕色剤:発色剤)で、1:1~5:1である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の感熱記録用組成物。
- 前記顕色剤の含有量が、前記1,3-ジフェニル尿素の含有量に対して、質量比(顕色剤:1,3-ジフェニル尿素)で、1:1~3:1である、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の感熱記録用組成物。
- 支持体上に、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の感熱記録用組成物から成る感熱記録層を有する、感熱記録材料。
- 前記支持体が、上質紙、合成紙又はプラスチックフィルムである、請求項6に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記感熱記録層の単位面積当たりの質量が、1~20g/m2である、請求項6又は7に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記支持体と前記感熱記録層の間に、さらに有機顔料及び/又は無機顔料を含むアンダーコート層を有する、請求項6~8のいずれか一項に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記無機顔料が、吸油量が70~150ml/100gの吸油性無機顔料である、請求項9に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記無機顔料が、焼成カオリンである、請求項10に記載の感熱記録材料。
- 前記有機顔料が、(平均内径/平均外径)×100が50~99のプラスチック中空粒子である、請求項9に記載の感熱記録材料。
