Abstract
Description
最初に本開示の実施態様を列記して説明する。
本開示のグロメットは、
[1]車体パネルに設けられた組付孔と前記組付孔に通されるワイヤハーネスとの間に介在されるグロメットであって、前記ワイヤハーネスに密着する態様で前記ワイヤハーネスの外周を包囲する筒状部、及び、前記組付孔の周縁に接触するシール部を有するグロメット本体と、前記グロメット本体とは別体をなす傘状部材と、を備え、前記傘状部材は、前記車体パネルの一側面に設けられた遮音部材の挿通孔を覆う被覆部を有し、前記被覆部は、前記遮音部材に向かって拡径するように傾斜しており、前記被覆部において前記遮音部材の表面に接触する拡径側の端部を前記傘状部材の後端部として、前記グロメット本体は、前記後端部の反対側の端部である前記傘状部材の前端部に対して、前記グロメット本体の軸方向に係止する係止部を有している。
この構成によれば、筒状部がワイヤハーネスに追従して径方向に動いたとき、その筒状部の動きを、筒状部と係止部との間の間隙が吸収する。このため、筒状部の径方向の動きによって傘状部材に対する係止部の係止が外れることを抑制できる。
この構成によれば、突出部によって傘状部材の径方向への位置ずれを抑制することが可能となる。このため、傘状部材に対する係止部の係止が外れることを抑制可能となる。
この構成によれば、係止部の突出部を、傘状部材の径方向外側に好適に配置できる。

[本開示の実施形態の詳細]
本開示のグロメットの具体例を、以下に図面を参照しつつ説明する。各図面では、説明の便宜上、構成の一部を誇張または簡略化して示す場合がある。また、各部分の寸法比率については各図面で異なる場合がある。また、本発明はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。
グロメット本体11は、例えば、第1グロメット11Aと、第1グロメット11Aに組み付けられた第2グロメット11Bとを備えている。第1グロメット11A及び第2グロメット11Bは互いに別体をなす。第1グロメット11A及び第2グロメット11Bは、ゴムなどの弾性材料にて形成されている。なお、第1グロメット11A及び第2グロメット11Bに用いられる弾性材料としては、例えばEPDM(エチレンプロピレンジエンゴム)などが挙げられる。第1グロメット11Aに用いる弾性材料と第2グロメット11Bに用いる弾性材料とは、同一の材料であってもよいし、また、別の材料であってもよいが、共に可撓性を有するゴムなどの弾性材料を用いることが好ましい。
図2及び図3に示すように、第1グロメット11Aは、ワイヤハーネスWの外周を包囲する筒状の第1筒状部12と、第1筒状部12から後方側に拡径して延びる拡径部13と、傘状部材20を保持する保持部14と、を備えている。
図2に示すように、第2グロメット11Bは、第1グロメット11Aの軸方向の後端側の開口を塞ぐように、第1グロメット11Aに組み付けられている。第2グロメット11Bは、ワイヤハーネスWの外周を包囲する筒状の第2筒状部18と、第2筒状部18から外周側に延出された固定部19と、を有している。
グロメット本体11に対して別体をなす傘状部材20は、第1グロメット11Aの拡径部13の前方側に設けられている。なお、傘状部材20は、ゴムなどの弾性材料にて形成されている。なお、傘状部材20に用いられる弾性材料としては、例えばEPDM(エチレンプロピレンジエンゴム)などが挙げられる。なお、傘状部材20に用いる弾性材料とグロメット本体11に用いる弾性材料とは、同一の材料であってもよいし、また、別の材料であってもよいが、共に可撓性を有するゴムなどの弾性材料を用いることが好ましい。
グロメット本体11の保持部14は、第1筒状部12の径方向外側に形成されている。保持部14は、例えば、軸線Lを中心とする環状をなしている。
延出部31は、例えば、軸線Lを中心とする円筒状をなす。延出部31の外径は、第1筒状部12の外径よりも大きい。延出部31の内周面は、第1筒状部12の外周面に対して、間隙33を介して互いに対向している。なお、延出部31の前端部は、例えば、第1筒状部12の前端部よりも後端側に位置している。
図1に示すように、まず、ワイヤハーネスWをグロメット本体11及び傘状部材20に挿通する。このとき、ワイヤハーネスWを、グロメット本体11に対しては第1筒状部12及び第2筒状部18に挿通し、傘状部材20に対しては被覆部21の内周縁23の内側に挿通する。この状態では、まだ、傘状部材20がグロメット本体11に対して組み付けられておらず、グロメット本体11及び傘状部材20は車体パネルPの側面Pb側に配置される。
グロメット10は、組付孔Paの周縁に接触するシール部15を有するグロメット本体11と、遮音部材Sの挿通孔Saを覆う被覆部21を有する傘状部材20と、を備えている。そして、傘状部材20は、グロメット本体11とは別体をなしている。このため、傘状部材20を組み付けていない状態のグロメット本体11を組付孔Paに組み付けた後、組付孔Paに組み付いたグロメット本体11に対して傘状部材20を組み付けることが可能となる。従って、グロメット本体11を組付孔Paに挿入する際に、被覆部21がグロメット本体11と組付孔Paとの間に入り込むことを抑制可能となっている。
(1)傘状部材20の被覆部21は、遮音部材Sに向かって拡径するように傾斜しており、被覆部21の拡径側の端部である後端部24が遮音部材Sの表面Sbに当接している。そして、グロメット本体11は、被覆部21の前端部22に対して軸方向に係止する係止部32を有している。この構成によれば、被覆部21の前端部22に係止するグロメット本体11の係止部32によって、傘状部材20がグロメット本体11から外れることを抑制できる。
・被覆部21の軸方向視の形状は円形に限定されるものではなく、遮音部材Sの挿通孔Saの形状に応じて、例えば楕円形や多角形などに適宜変更可能である。
・上記実施形態のグロメット本体11において、延出部31を省略するとともに、係止部32を第1筒状部12の外周面に設けてもよい。
・上記実施形態では、グロメット本体11を第1グロメット11Aと第2グロメット11Bの2つの部品で構成したが、これに限らず、グロメット本体11を1つの部品で構成してもよい。

- 車体パネルに設けられた組付孔と前記組付孔に通されるワイヤハーネスとの間に介在されるグロメットであって、
前記ワイヤハーネスに密着する態様で前記ワイヤハーネスの外周を包囲する筒状部、及び、前記組付孔の周縁に接触するシール部を有するグロメット本体と、
前記グロメット本体とは別体をなす傘状部材と、を備え、
前記傘状部材は、前記車体パネルの一側面に設けられた遮音部材の挿通孔を覆う被覆部を有し、
前記被覆部は、前記遮音部材に向かって拡径するように傾斜しており、
前記被覆部において前記遮音部材の表面に接触する拡径側の端部を前記傘状部材の後端部として、
前記グロメット本体は、前記後端部の反対側の端部である前記傘状部材の前端部に対して、前記グロメット本体の軸方向に係止する係止部を有している、グロメット。 - 前記係止部は、前記筒状部の径方向外側に配置され、
前記係止部は、前記筒状部に対して間隙を介して対向している、請求項1に記載のグロメット。 - 前記グロメット本体は、前記筒状部の径方向外側に位置し前記筒状部の軸方向に沿って延びる延出部を有し、

前記突出部は、前記傘状部材の径方向外側に位置している、請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のグロメット。 - 前記突出部は、前記傘状部材における前記被覆部の径方向外側に位置している、請求項4に記載のグロメット。
- 前記傘状部材の前記前端部は、前記被覆部における縮径側の端部である、請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のグロメット。
- 前記グロメット本体は、前記係止部に連続し前記軸方向に延出長さを有する延出部を有し、
前記グロメット本体の前記延出部の前記延出長さは、前記傘状部材の前記前端部が前記延出部に沿って前記軸方向に移動するのを許容する、請求項1に記載のグロメット。 - 前記延出部は、第1の外径を有する筒状外周面を有しており、
前記係止部は、前記第1の外径よりも大きい第2の外径を有するように前記延出部から径方向外向きに突出しており、
前記傘状部材の前記前端部は、前記第1の外径よりも大きく前記第2の外径よりも小さい内径の内周縁を有する、請求項7に記載のグロメット。
