- Patent Document 1 discloses a case comprising a vent valve port communicating with the outside of the tank and a fuel inflow portion, and a float body that is vertically arranged in the case.
- a fuel tank valve device is disclosed in which an elastic piece is formed by a first arc-shaped split groove and a second arc-shaped split groove, and a part of the resilient piece contacts the bottom of a float body.
- the fluid such as air and fuel vapor in the fuel tank blows up and flows into the valve chamber. It can make you float.
- the first arc-shaped split groove and the second arc-shaped split groove are formed on the surface of the case facing the bottom of the float body, and the opening area is large. Therefore, when refueling, fluid such as air tends to pass through the first and second arcuate split grooves, causing the float body to rise easily.

- the wall side forms a free end, and the free end is provided with a float valve support for supporting the float valve.
- the slit forming the elastic piece extends continuously over the peripheral wall and the bottom wall. Strips can be made long. Therefore, the elastic piece can be easily bent and deformed, so that the effect of suppressing the hammering sound by the float valve support portion when the float valve is lowered can be enhanced.
- the slit on the bottom wall side can be shortened while the elastic piece is formed long, the opening area of the slit on the bottom wall side can be reduced. Therefore, the fluid blowing up from the housing bottom wall side and pushing up the float valve from the bottom side is less likely to pass through the slit on the bottom wall side, so that the float valve is less likely to float.

It flows upward through the gap with the valve chamber forming wall 24, further flows into the ventilation chamber R through the first opening 26, and is discharged to the canister outside the fuel tank. Further, the air in the fuel tank flows into the second valve chamber V2 through the slits 60 and 61 of the lower cap 40, passes through the flow path 34 (see FIG. 9), etc., and flows upward to the second opening. It flows into the ventilation chamber R from the portion 27 and is discharged to the canister outside the fuel tank. In this way, the air in the fuel tank is discharged to the outside of the fuel tank, so that the fuel can be refueled into the fuel tank.
- the second float valve 85 when the second float valve 85 is in a state where the buoyancy does not occur because the rocking of the fuel is stopped, the second float valve 85 is lowered by its own weight, and the bottom surface 85a of the second float valve 85 becomes the free ends of the elastic pieces 66 and 67. It is supported by a float valve support portion 68 provided on the side (see FIGS. 10 and 11). When the second float valve 85 descends in this manner, the float valve support portion 68 is pressed by the bottom surface 85a of the second float valve 85, and the elastic pieces 66 and 67 are directed outward through the lower cap via the fixed end portions.
- the impact is absorbed and the bottom surface 85a of the second float valve 85 comes into elastic contact with the float valve support portions 68 of the elastic pieces 66 and 67, so that the second float valve 85 descends. It is possible to suppress the hitting sound at the time.
- the slit 60 forming the elastic piece 66 extends continuously over the outer peripheral wall 55 and the second bottom wall 53, and the slit 61 forming the elastic piece 67 forms a step. It extends continuously across the peripheral wall 56 and the second bottom wall 53 . Therefore, even if the slits 60, 61 on the side of the second bottom wall 53 (the cut portions of the first slits 62, 64 on the side of the second bottom wall 53) are shortened, the slits 60, 61 on the side of the peripheral walls 55, 56 (first The elastic pieces 66 and 67 can be formed long by lengthening the cut portions of the slits 62 and 64 on the side of the peripheral walls 55 and 56 . Therefore, since the elastic pieces 66 and 67 can be easily deformed, the effect of suppressing the hammering sound by the float valve support portion 68 when the second float valve 85 is lowered can be enhanced.
- the fluid F such as air or fuel vapor in the fuel tank blows up as indicated by the arrows in FIGS. It tries to flow into the second valve chamber V2 from below through the slits 60, 61 and the like.
