Definitions

  • the present invention relates according to claim 1 to a sheet for folding a box or folding box, according to claim 9 to such a box or folding box and according to claim 10 to a manufacturing method for producing the sheet.
  • publication DE29822665U1 discloses a folding box with an associated lid, with side walls pivotably arranged on a base surface and with associated connecting sections, the lid resting on the upper boundary of the side walls, the lid resting on bent stabilizing strips adjoining the side walls.
  • FR1368264A also discloses another disadvantageous folding box.
  • a longitudinal seam box sheet has a large width and, in relation to this, a low height. Due to the large width and relatively low height, a long, unstable strip results, which is difficult to process; in particular, mechanical folding and/or gluing is possible only with great effort or is very error-prone.
  • a box made from a longitudinally seamed box sheet is also relatively unstable and optically not very high-quality, since the lid often curves strongly and the bottom either also closed with an unsightly tuck-in flap or with an unsightly folding bottom that does not form a homogeneous surface.
  • a junk box sheet also has several disadvantages. Folding boxes from such sheets can only be produced without glue. I.e. the sheets only have parts that are plugged into the corresponding counterparts. The insertion of functional parts of the side wall into the bottom of the box (and protruding from the bottom of the box) is often perceived as unsightly. Furthermore, no dust flaps can be provided with such folding shafts, which are attached to the walls delimiting the receiving space and are therefore not attached to the cover, since the flaps are required for anchoring through the floor. Since side dust flaps are not possible, dust flaps are required on the lid, which is often not desired optically.
