このように、台車が移載位置に到達する前にアーム間隔の設定が行われておりその後にアーム間隔を変更しないので、台車の停止後に実行される出庫の際の荷物の移載にかかる時間を短縮できる。従来であれば出庫荷物の出庫の際にアームを移動させて出庫荷物を挟み込みさらに当該出庫荷物とアームとの間に隙間を確保するために再度アームを移動させる事を行っているが、そのような動作が不要になるからである。

Claims (11)
- 複数段からなる棚と、前記段毎に配置され棚の延長方向に沿って走行することで荷物を搬送する台車と、前記台車を制御する下位コントローラと、備える自動倉庫であって、
前記台車は、
前記棚との間で荷物を移載する第1アームと第2アームを有する移載装置と、
前記第1アーム側に設けられ、前記棚に載置された前記荷物を検出する第1センサと、
前記第2アーム側に設けられ、前記棚に載置された前記荷物を検出する第2センサと、
を有し、
前記第1アーム及び前記第2アームの少なくとも一方が前記台車において前記棚の延長方向に移動可能であり、
前記下位コントローラは、前記荷物の出庫時に、
出庫する対象の出庫荷物の前記棚における載置位置に対応する位置まで前記台車が走行する出庫走行の際に、前記台車が前記出庫走行により進行する進行方向の前側に存在する前記第1センサ又は前記第2センサを用いて前記出庫荷物の幅を測定し、
前記出庫荷物の幅の測定結果に基づいて前記第1アーム及び/又は前記第2アームを移動させて、前記第1アームと前記第2アームとのアーム間隔を前記出庫荷物の幅よりも所定量だけ大きくなるよう調整し、
前記台車が前記出庫荷物の載置位置に対応する位置に到達後に、調整後の前記アーム間隔を維持したまま前記第1アームと前記第2アームを進退させて前記出庫荷物を引き込む制御を実行する、
自動倉庫。 - 前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報を含む搬送指令を前記下位コントローラに送信する上位コントローラをさらに備え、
前記下位コントローラは、前記出庫走行を開始する際に前記アーム間隔を前記搬送指令に含まれる前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報に示された値よりも所定量だけ大きい第1間隔に調整し、その後、前記アーム間隔を前記第1間隔に調整した状態から、前記アーム間隔を前記測定結果に示された前記出庫荷物の幅よりも所定量だけ大きくなるよう調整する制御を実行する、請求項1に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記第2アームが前記棚の延長方向に移動可能であり、
前記第2センサが前記第2アームに設けられ、
前記下位コントローラは、
前記出庫走行の際に前記第2センサが前記台車の進行方向の前側に存在するときに、前記台車の位置に関する情報と、前記台車における前記第2アームの位置に関する情報と、に基づいて前記出庫荷物の幅を測定する、請求項1に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記第2アームが前記棚の延長方向に移動可能であり、
前記第2センサが前記第2アームに設けられ、
前記下位コントローラは、
前記出庫走行の際に前記第2センサが前記台車の進行方向の前側に存在するときに、前記台車の位置に関する情報と、前記台車における前記第2アームの位置に関する情報と、に基づいて前記出庫荷物の幅を測定する、請求項2に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記下位コントローラは、
前記出庫走行の際に前記第1センサが前記台車の進行方向の前側に存在するときに、搬送指令に含まれる前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報と前記出庫荷物の幅の測定結果との差が第1所定値以下であり、かつ、前記棚における前記出庫荷物の載置位置が所定位置より前記棚の延長方向にずれている場合、当該出庫荷物の前記所定位置からのずれ量に基づいて前記台車の停止位置を決定する、請求項1に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記下位コントローラは、
前記出庫走行の際に前記第2センサが前記台車の進行方向の前側に存在するときに、搬送指令に含まれる前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報と前記出庫荷物の幅の測定結果との差が第1所定値以下であり、かつ、前記棚における前記出庫荷物の載置位置が所定位置より前記棚の延長方向にずれている場合、当該出庫荷物の前記所定位置からのずれ量に基づいて前記第2アームの前記台車における位置を決定する、請求項3に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記下位コントローラは、搬送指令に含まれる前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報と前記出庫荷物の幅の測定結果との差が第1所定値より大きい場合、前記台車に対して当該出庫荷物の幅の再測定を実行させる制御を行う、請求項1に記載の自動倉庫。
- 前記第1アームは前記台車において前記棚の延長方向の一方である第1方向側に固定され、
前記下位コントローラは、前記棚の延長方向の他方である第2方向側の端部よりも前記棚の前記第1方向の端部に近い側に載置された前記出庫荷物の幅の再測定を実行する際に、前記台車を、当該出庫荷物の前記第1方向とは反対側の第2方向の端部側から前記第2方向に第1距離だけ走行させる、請求項1に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記第1距離は、前記第2方向に前記台車を移動させたときに、前記出庫荷物の前記第2方向側の端部よりも前記第2方向側に前記第1センサが存在する距離に相当する、請求項8に記載の自動倉庫。
- 前記第2アームは前記台車において前記第2方向側の端部において前記棚の延長方向に移動可能に設けられ、
前記棚の前記第2方向の端部に近い側に載置された前記出庫荷物の幅の再測定を実行する際に、前記下位コントローラは、前記台車を、当該出庫荷物の前記第1方向の端部側から前記第1方向に、搬送指令に含まれる前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報と前記第1距離との和だけ走行させる、請求項8に記載の自動倉庫。 - 前記第2アームは前記台車において前記第2方向側の端部において前記棚の延長方向に移動可能に設けられ、
前記棚の前記第2方向の端部に近い側に載置された前記出庫荷物の幅の再測定を実行する際に、前記下位コントローラは、前記台車を、当該出庫荷物の前記第1方向の端部側から前記第1方向に、搬送指令に含まれる前記出庫荷物の幅に関する情報と前記第1距離との和だけ走行させる、請求項9に記載の自動倉庫。
