Abstract
Description
電子部品の実装装置への個別供給方法として、テープ状の搬送体の内部に電子部品を埋設して、1つずつ取り出すテープフィーダ方法がある。しかし、テープフィーダ方法はテープやテープカバーといった廃棄物が生じる。
これに対して収納ケースにバラの状態の電子部品をまとめて投入し、収納ケースの底部に形成された部品取出口より自重によりフィーダへと電子部品を落下させ、フィーダにより実装装置へ個別に供給する方法もある(特許文献1参照)。この方法は、テープやテープカバーといった廃棄物が発生しない。
一方、電子部品の単位時間当たりの流出個数を所望の個数にするために部品取出口を小さくすると、収納ケース内の電子部品の量が多い場合、部品取出口で詰りが生じる。このため、収納ケースの電子部品を詰まりが生じにくい量に制限することが必要となる。
しかし、電子部品の量を制限すると、収納ケースに投入できる電子部品が少量となり、大量生産に向かない。
実施形態で電子部品50は、コンデンサやインダクタなどであり、長手方向長さが1.2mm以下である。電子部品50の形状は、略直方体である。
収納ケース1は、ケース本体2と、カバー部材3と、駆動部4と、RFIDタグ5とを備える。
ケース本体2は、第1側壁部21と第2側壁部22とを備え、第1側壁部21と第2側壁部22とが組み立てられることにより、内部に収納空間Sが形成される容器である。ケース本体2は、上壁部2Uと、底壁部2Dと、前側壁部2Fと、後側壁部2Bと、第1側壁部21側の右側壁部2Rと、第2側壁部22側の左側壁部2Lとを備える。収納ケース1の内部には、電子部品50が、バラの状態で収納される。
前側壁部2Fと、後側壁部2Bと、右側壁部2Rと、左側壁部2Lとは、鉛直方向、すなわち上下に延びる側壁部である。上壁部2Uと、底壁部2Dとは、水平方向に延びる壁部である。
ケース本体2の前側壁部2Fの下側には、部品取出口6が設けられている。部品取出口6は、実施形態では四角形の開口部であるが、四角形に限定されず、例えば他の円形や楕円形状の開口部であってもよい。部品取出口6が開いたときの下縁部6aの位置は、底壁部2Dのフィーダ100側の底面から鉛直方向上側に、所定距離d=3mm~6mm、離隔している。
収納空間S内において、第1側壁部21と第2側壁部22との間に板部材7が延びている。板部材7の上面は、後方から前方の部品取出口6の下縁部6aに向かって延び、下縁部6a側が最も下側になるよう傾斜した傾斜面7aとなっている。
傾斜面7aの傾斜角度θは、収納ケース1がフィーダ100に取り付けられたときの水平方向に対して3°~10°であり、実施形態では5°である。なお、5°~7°であればさらに良い。
部品取出口6を覆うカバー部材3が底壁部2Dから前側壁部2Fにわたって連続して延びている。カバー部材3は、長尺の帯状部材であり、材質はこれに限定されないが、実施形態ではPET(Polyethylene terephthalate)であり、ある程度剛性を有し、且つ湾曲可能な材質である。カバー部材3の幅は、部品取出口6の幅より若干大きく、部品取出口6を隙間なく覆うことができる幅である。1.0×10^6~1.0×10^12(1.0×106~1.0×1012)とする。1.0×10^6を下回ると、急激が電圧による部品破損が生じ、1.0×10^12を上回ると、静電気による部品付着が生じる。
カバー部材3の前端には部品取出口6と略同形の開口部3aが設けられている。なお、開口部3aは部品取出口6と同形である必要はないが、開口部3aと部品取出口6とが重なったときに貫通する開口が、電子部品50の流出口となる。
一方、ケース本体2の前側壁部2Fにおける部品取出口6の上側には、外側から内側に向かって窪んだカバー部スライド用凹部61が設けられている。
部品取出口6とカバー部スライド用凹部61とが設けられている部分の、前側壁部2Fの厚み方向側面には、上下に延びる案内溝62が左右に設けられている。案内溝62の幅とカバー部材3の厚みとの差は、50μm~80μmである。
カバー部材3の長手方向に延びる両側が、左右の案内溝62に挿入される。カバー部材3は、案内溝62に案内されて、前側壁部2Fを上下方向にスライドする。
カバー部材3の後端には、図2及び図3に示す円形の孔3bが設けられている。孔3bには、カバー部材3をスライド駆動する駆動部4が取り付けられている。駆動部4は、矩形部材で、上側の左右に外方にフランジ部4aが延びている。駆動部4の上面には、凸部4bが設けられ、凸部4bは、カバー部材3の孔3bに挿入されて上に突き出している。
左右の駆動用溝部25の間に駆動部4のフランジ部4aが挿通される。駆動部4は、作業者又は他の装置によって前後に移動されると、駆動用溝部25に案内されて、駆動部スライド用凹部23の内部を前後方向にスライドする。このとき、駆動部4のスライド範囲は、凸部4bが前側の窪み26aに嵌る位置と、後側の窪み26bに嵌る位置との間である。
ケース本体2の後側及び上側に、把持部10が設けられている。把持部10は、実施形態では上側把持部10Aと後側把持部10Bとの2種類設けられているが、これに限定されず、どちらか一方であってもよく、また左右や前方の上下など、他の場所に設けられていてもよい。
上側把持部10Aは、ケース本体2の上側の前後両端に設けられた窪みである。後側把持部は、ケース本体2の後側の上下の両端に設けられた窪みである。把持部10は、例えば搬送時にロボットハンドなので把持される際に利用される。
ケース本体2は、さらに、下方において左右に貫通する貫通孔9を備える。貫通孔9の内部の上面には、RFIDタグ5が貼着されている。RFIDタグ5は、送受信部、メモリ及びアンテナなどを有する公知のものである。なお、必ずしも貫通孔でなくてもよく、RFIDタグが収容できればよく、RFIDタグがケース本体に貼り付けられていてもよい。
被ロック部8は、実施形態では前側被ロック部8Aと後側被ロック部8Bとの2つ設けられてるが、これに限定されず、1つであってもよい。以下、前側被ロック部8Aと、後側被ロック部8Bとに共通する部分は被ロック部8としてまとめて説明する。
被ロック部8は上方から下方に向かって延び、下端が略90°後方に曲がり、上下左右に延びる断面においてL字形状を有する。
T字スロット部13は、実施形態では前側T字スロット部13Aと後側T字スロット部13Bとの2つの部分を備えるが、これに限定されず、1本であってもよい。ただし、複数に分割することにより、フィーダ100に装着する際の収納ケース1のスライド距離を短くすることができる。以下、前側T字スロット部13Aと、後側T字スロット部13Bとの共通部分はT字スロット部13としてまとめて説明する。
T字スロット部13は、図4に示すように、上方から下方に向かって延びる細首部13aと、細首部13aのさらに下方に設けられた幅広部13bとを備え、上下左右に延びる断面においてT字形状を有する。
一方、図5に示すように、フィーダ100には、フィーダ100の上面から下方に窪んだ第1装着凹部101と第2装着凹部102とが設けられている。
前側に設けられている第1装着凹部101の左右の幅は、T字スロット部13の幅広部13bが挿入可能な幅で、上下の深さは、幅広部13bの上下方向の長さより深く且つ前側T字スロット部13A全体の上下方向の長さより短い。
第1装着凹部101の上部の2箇所には、T字スロット部の幅広部13bは挿通不能であるが、細首部13aは挿通可能な幅の図1に示すスリット104が設けられた押さえ板部103が設けられている。押さえ板部103の上面は、フィーダ100の上面から連続した水平面で、前押さえ板部103Aと後押さえ板部103Bとが設けられている。図5(a)に示す前押さえ板部103Aと後押さえ板部103Bとの間の隙間eの前後の長さは、前側T字スロット部13Aが挿入可能な長さである。
第2装着凹部102は第1装着凹部101よりも深く、内部にロック部108が設けられている。ロック部108は、実施形態においては前側被ロック部8Aと後側被ロック部8Bとのそれぞれに対応して、それぞれ前側ロック部108Aと後側ロック部108Bとを備えている。
前側ロック部108Aは、板状部材で前後に上方に向かう突起が設けられている。前側ロック部108Aの底面の前後は、第2装着凹部102の底部との間にそれぞれバネを介して取り付けられている。前側ロック部108Aはこのバネによって上下に移動可能である。
後側ロック部108Bは、板状部材で前後に上方に向かう突起が設けられている。後側ロック部108Bの底面の前後は、第2装着凹部102の底部との間にそれぞれバネを介して取り付けられている。後側ロック部108Bの中央部は左右に延びる軸pによって軸支されている。後側ロック部108Bは軸を中心として揺動可能である。
次に、収納ケース1をフィーダ100に装着する動作について説明する。
収納ケース1は、内部に電子部品50がバラの状態で多数収納され、且つ部品取出口6が閉じている。このとき、駆動部4の凸部4bは前側の窪み26aにあり、カバー部材3の開口部3aによって部品取出口6の全体が閉じられている。
そうすると、前押さえ板部103Aと後押さえ板部103Bとの間の隙間eより、収納ケース1の前側T字スロット部13Aが、第1装着凹部101の内部に挿入される。同時に、後押さえ板部103Bの後方より収納ケース1の後側T字スロット部13Bが、第1装着凹部101の内部に挿入される。
なお、このとき、前側ロック部108Aが駆動部4によって押されて、バネ力に抗して押し下げられる。前側ロック部108Aは回転せずに全体が下降する。
そうすると、前側T字スロット部13Aと後側T字スロット部13Bとが、第1装着凹部101の底面に沿ってスライドし、前側T字スロット部13Aの幅広部13bが前押さえ板部103Aの下に入り込み、後側T字スロット部13Bの幅広部13bが後押さえ板部103Bの下に入り込む。これにより収納ケース1がフィーダ100に固定される。
なお、前側T字スロット部13Aの前面が第1装着凹部101の前面に当接することにより収納ケース1がフィーダ100に位置決めされる。
このとき、図5(d)に示すように駆動部4によって後側ロック部108Bの前側の突起が下に押される。後側ロック部108Bは軸pを中心として回転して後側ロック部108Bの後側の突起が上昇する。後側の突起が後側被ロック部8BのL字型の後端と当接する。
放出された電子部品50は、フィーダ100に設けられた搬送部(図示せず)によって、所定の場所に搬送される。
実施形態と異なり、電子部品50が自重によって鉛直方向に落下する場合は、一気に落下するので、部品取出口6において電子部品50が詰まる可能性がある。
しかし、実施形態では電子部品50の単位時間当たりの流出個数を制御できるので、内部に収納されている電子部品50の個数によらず、電子部品50が部品取出口6において詰まりにくく、且つ一気に流れ出ることがない。
以上、本発明の好適な実施形態について説明したが、これに限定されず、種々の変更が可能である。
また、被ロック部8が収納ケース1、ロック部108がフィーダ100に設けられているが、これに限定されず、被ロック部がフィーダ100、ロック部が収納ケース1に設けられていてもよい。

Claims (9)
- 部品を収容する収納空間を有する収納ケースであって、
側壁部に設けられた部品取出口と、
前記収納空間の内部に設けられ、前記部品取出口に向かって延びる傾斜面と、を備える収納ケース。 - 前記傾斜面は、前記収納ケースがフィーダに装着されたときの水平方向に対して、3°~10°、前記部品取出口における前記フィーダに装着されたときに下側となる下縁部の側が鉛直方向下側となるように傾いている、
請求項1に記載の収納ケース。 - 前記部品取出口の前記下縁部は、前記収納ケースの底面に対して、鉛直方向上側に離隔して設けられている、
請求項2に記載の収納ケース。 - 前記収納ケースの外壁部に、把持部が設けられている、
請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の収納ケース。 - 前記部品取出口に沿ってスライドすることにより前記部品取出口を開閉するカバー部材と、
前記部品取出口が設けられた前記側壁部に形成された、前記カバー部材のスライド移動を案内する案内溝と、を備え、
前記案内溝の幅と前記カバー部材の厚みとの差は、50μm~80μmである、
請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の収納ケース。 - 前記部品取出口が設けられた前記側壁部以外の外壁部に、前記カバー部材をスライド駆動する駆動部を備える、
請求項5に記載の収納ケース。 - 前記収納ケース又はフィーダの一方に被ロック部が設けられ、
前記収納ケース又は前記フィーダの他方には、前記収納ケースが前記フィーダに装着された状態で、前記被ロック部と係合することで、前記収納ケースを前記フィーダにロックするロック部が設けられている、
