Description
この発明は、ガスケットに関する。
現在、自動車など様々な分野において、ゴムと金属を積層させたガスケットが使用されている。ガスケットには高いシール性が要求されており、そのために耐圧縮永久歪み性(CS)、応力緩和特性、ゴム硬度を向上させることが検討されている。特許文献1(国際公開第2011/024812号)は、金属シートと弾性体からなるシール材とを複数枚、積層した金属ガスケットを開示する(請求項1、段落[0044])。
近年、自動車のハイブリッド化・電動化が進んだり、燃料電池車などの環境対応自動車の開発が行われている。これらの自動車には、モータ用ガスケット、二次電池や燃料電池などの電池用のガスケット、パワーコントロールユニット用ガスケットが使用される。ハイブリッド自動車、電気自動車、燃料電池車などの環境対応自動車ではモータを使用するため、モータの駆動時に振動が発生する。そこで、これらの環境対応自動車に発生する振動を抑制することが望まれていた。また、環境対応自動車以外の機器においてもモータ等の振動源に由来する振動を抑制することが望まれていた。
特許文献1のガスケットは高いシール性を有するものの、制振・防振作用について更なる向上が望まれていた。本発明は上記事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、優れた制振性および防振性を有するガスケットを提供するものである。
本発明の各実施態様は、以下のとおりである。

優れた制振性および防振性を有するガスケットを提供することができる。
本発明のガスケットは、動的ばね定数Kdと静的ばね定数Kstの比である動倍率Kd/Kstが2.5以下のゴムを含む弾性部を有する。ここで、動的ばね定数KdはJIS K6394:2007に記載の23±2℃、100Hz、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で測定された定数を表す。また、静的ばね定数KstはJIS K6394:2007に記載の23±2℃、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で測定された定数を表す。ゴムの動倍率Kd/Kstが2.5以下であることによって、振動源からの振動がガスケットに伝達しにくくなる。また、振動源から弾性部内に振動が伝達された場合であっても該振動は弾性部内で熱エネルギーに変換されやすくなる。この結果、ガスケットは優れた制振・防振特性を有することができ、該ガスケットは振動源から他の部材へ振動が伝達されるのを効果的に防止することができる。また、ガスケットは振動源からの振動を抑制するため、該振動に由来する騒音を低減して、ガスケットを有する機器の静音性を向上させることができる。典型的には、弾性部は、動倍率Kd/Kstが2.5以下のゴムからなる。例えば、ガスケットは、モータ用、インバーターケース用に用いることができ、これらの機器から発生する振動および騒音を低減することができる。また、ガスケットは、モータやインバーターケースを備えた自動車、ロボット、家電製品などの機械・機器の内部で使用することができる。本発明のガスケットが自動車中で使用された場合、振動、騒音が低減されるため、快適な状態で運転することができる。
弾性部を構成するゴムの動的ばね定数Kdおよび静的ばね定数Kstは以下のように測定する。予め弾性部用のゴム組成物の加硫速度をJIS K6300-2に準拠して測定し、Tc(90)(90%加硫時間)を測定する。次いで、Tc(90)を超えるような条件下で、弾性部用のゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことによりゴム片を準備する。この後、JIS K6394:2007に記載の強制振動非共振方法に準拠して、23±2℃、100Hz、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で引張方法により動的ばね定数を測定する。また、JIS K6394:2007に記載の23±2℃、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で引張方法により静的ばね定数を測定する。また、このようにして測定したゴムの動的ばね定数Kdを静的ばね定数Kstで除することにより動倍率Kd/Kstを求めることができる。動的ばね定数および静的ばね定数の測定装置としては例えば、UBM社製のRheogel-E4000を用いることができる。動倍率Kd/Kstは、2.5以下であり、2.0以下であることが好ましく、1.8以下であることがより好ましい。また、動倍率Kd/Kstは、0.5上であることが好ましく、1.0以上であることがより好ましい。動倍率の値が上記範囲内であることによって、ガスケットはより高い制振性・防振性を有することができる。動的ばね定数は、1.5g/μm以下であることが好ましく、1.2g/μm以下であることがより好ましく、0.8g/μm以下であることがさらに好ましい。動的ばね定数の値が上記範囲内であることによって、ガスケットの優れた制振性・防振性とシール性を両立させることができる。
弾性部に含まれるゴムの硬度(デュロメータA硬さ)は90以下であることが好ましく、85以下であることがより好ましく、80以下であることがさらに好ましい。ゴムの硬度が上記範囲内であることによって、ガスケットはより高いシール性能と制振・防振性を有することができる。なお、ゴムの硬度は、JIS K6253に準拠した方法によって測定することができる。
一実施形態に係るガスケットは、金属板と、金属板の片面上または両面上に、動倍率Kd/Kstが2.5以下のゴムを含む弾性部とを有する。金属板の材料としては特に限定されないが鉄、アルミ、銅などやそれらの合金等が用いられ例えば、SPCC(冷間圧延鋼板)、SPFC(冷間圧延高張力鋼板)、軟鋼、ステンレス鋼板、アルミニウム、アルミニウムダイキャストを用いることができる。ステンレス鋼板としては、SUS301、SUS301H、SUS304、SUS430等を用いることができる。金属板の厚さは特に限定されないが、100~2000μmとすることが好ましく、200~1000μmとすることがより好ましい。金属板は脱脂した状態で用いることができ、必要に応じて金属表面をショットブラスト、スコッチブライド、ヘアーライン、ダル仕上げなどで粗面化することができる。弾性部は接着剤成分を含有することによって、または、弾性部と金属板との間に接着剤層を設けることによって、弾性部を金属板に接着させてもよい。接着剤成分および接着剤層の成分としては、金属板と弾性部との接着性を向上できるものであれば特に限定されないが例えば、フェノール樹脂やエポキシ樹脂などの樹脂系加硫接着剤を用いることができる。フェノール樹脂としては、クレゾールノボラック型フェノール樹脂、クレゾールレゾール型フェノール樹脂、アルキル変性型フェノール樹脂など任意の熱硬化性フェノール樹脂を挙げることができる。また、エポキシ樹脂としてはクレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂を挙げることができ、この場合、ビスフェノールノボラック型フェノール樹脂を硬化剤とし、またイミダゾール化合物が硬化触媒として用いられる。
弾性部を構成するゴムは、ニトリルゴム(NBR)であることが好ましい。ニトリルゴムはブタジエンとアクリロニトリルの共重合体である。ニトリルゴム(NBR)は水素化されていても、水素化されていなくてもよい。ニトリルゴムとしては、極高ニトリル含量(ニトリル含量43%以上)、高ニトリル含量(同36~42%)、中高ニトリル含量(同31~35%)、中ニトリル含量(同25~30%)および低ニトリル含量(同24%以下)の各種NBRを用いることができる。
ゴムはさらに、カーボンブラック、シリカ、充填剤、可塑剤、添加剤、老化防止剤、加硫剤、加硫促進剤、加硫助剤などを含むことができる。カーボンブラックの種類はガスケットの用途に応じて適宜、選択することができ例えば、SAFカーボンブラック、ISAFカーボンブラック、HAFカーボンブラック、EPCカーボンブラック、XCFカーボンブラック、FEFカーボンブラック、GPFカーボンブラック、HMFカーボンブラック、SRカーボンブラック、FTカーボンブラック、MTカーボンブラックなどを使用することができる。添加剤としてはメタケイ酸カルシウム、炭酸カルシウム、酸化亜鉛、ステアリン酸、ワックスを挙げることができる。また、加硫剤としてはゴムの加硫剤として使用されるものであれば特に限定されないが例えば、硫黄系加硫剤、有機過酸化物系加硫剤などを挙げることができる。
硫黄系加硫剤としては例えば、粉末硫黄、硫黄華、沈降性硫黄、コロイド硫黄、高分散性硫黄および不溶性硫黄などの硫黄;塩化硫黄、二塩化硫黄、モルホリンジスルフィド、アルキルフェノールジスルフィド、ジベンゾチアジルジスルフィド、N,N’-ジチオ-ビス(ヘキサヒドロ-2H-アゼノピン-2)、含リンポリスルフィド及び高分子多硫化物などの含硫黄化合物などを挙げることができる。有機過酸化物系加硫剤としては、ケトンパーオキシド類、パーオキシエステル類、ジアシルパーオキシド類、ジアルキルパーオキシド類などを挙げることができる。また、必要に応じて加硫促進剤、加硫助剤を用いることもできる。
図1は一実施形態に係るガスケットの一例を適用した筐体の分解斜視図を表す。図1に示す筐体100は、ケース部材200と蓋部材300との2部材によって構成されている。ケース部材200及び蓋部材300は、各々の開口部の周囲にフランジ部201、301を一体に有している。これらフランジ部201、301の対向する突き合わせ面202、302間に1枚のガスケット1が配置されている。フランジ部201、301の突き合わせ面202、302は、ケース部材200及び蓋部材300の開口部の外周を一定の幅の帯状に取り囲むように形成されている。ボルト孔203、303が形成される部位は、部分的に側方に張り出している。
ガスケット1は、環状部1aと張り出し部1bとを有している。環状部1aは、ケース部材200及び蓋部材300の各フランジ部201、301の突き合わせ面202、302と同様の一定幅で形成されている。張り出し部1bは、フランジ部201、301の各ボル卜孔203、303に対応する位置に、環状部1aから滑らかな曲線で繋がるように部分的に側方に張り出している。各張り出し部1bには、フランジ部201、301の各ボルト孔203、303と対応するボルト孔11が形成されている。
そして、筐体100は、各ボルト孔203、303、11にボルト400が挿通されることによってケース部材200、蓋部材300及びガスケット1の三者が一体に締結される。フランジ部201、301間に挟着されたガスケット1によって、フランジ部201、301の突き合わせ面202、302間がシールされる。
ガスケット1は上記の構成を有するものであれば特に限定されない。また、以上の説明では、一実施形態に係るガスケット1を筐体100のケース部材200と蓋部材300とのフランジ部201、301間のシール部材として適用した例を示した。しかし、一実施形態に係るガスケット1は、このような筐体100に適用されるものに限らず、2部材間の突き合わせ面をシールする場合に広く適用することができる。
ガスケットは、モータ用のガスケットであることが好ましい。
また、ガスケットは、インバーターケース用のガスケットであることが好ましい。

一実施形態に係るガスケットの製造方法では例えば、金属板などの基材上に、弾性部用のゴム組成物を含む溶液を滴下させて塗布した後、該溶液を加熱して、乾燥させると共にゴム組成物を加硫することによって弾性部を作製する。弾性部用のゴム組成物を含む溶液としては特に限定されず、メチルエチルケトン、トルエン、酢酸エチルなどを使用することができる。
以下、実施例及び比較例に基づいて、本発明の好適な実施形態を具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれら実施例に限定されるものではない。
(実施例1~14および比較例1~5)
加圧型ニーダー(日本スピンドル社製)およびオープンロール(関西ロール社製)用いて下記表1に示す配合で各材料を混合することにより、ゴム組成物を調製した。
(評価)
上記のようにして得られたゴム組成物を用いて以下の測定を行った。
(a)弾性部の硬さ、引張強度、伸びの測定
予めゴム組成物の加硫速度をJIS K6300-2に準拠して測定し、Tc(90)(90%加硫時間)を測定した。次いで、Tc(90)を超えるような条件下でゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことにより、試験片を準備した。該試験片について、JIS K6253に準拠した硬さ(デュロメータA硬さ)の測定、JIS K6251に準拠した引張強度および伸びの測定を行った。
(b)動的ばね定数Kdの測定
上記(a)と同じ条件でゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことにより、厚さ2mm、幅4mm、長さ20mmの試験片を準備した。次いで、JIS K6394:2007に記載の強制振動非共振方法に準拠して、株式会社UBM製のRheogel-E4000を用い、23±2℃、100Hz、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で引張方法により、試験片の動的ばね定数を測定した。
(c)静的ばね定数Kstの測定
上記(a)と同じ条件でゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことにより、厚さ2mm、幅4mm、長さ20mmの試験片を準備した。次いで、JIS K6394:2007に準拠して、UBM社製のRheogel-E4000を用い、23±2℃、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で引張方法により、試験片の静的ばね定数を測定した。
加圧型ニーダー(日本スピンドル社製)およびオープンロール(関西ロール社製)用いて下記表1に示す配合で各材料を混合することにより、ゴム組成物を調製した。
(評価)
上記のようにして得られたゴム組成物を用いて以下の測定を行った。
(a)弾性部の硬さ、引張強度、伸びの測定
予めゴム組成物の加硫速度をJIS K6300-2に準拠して測定し、Tc(90)(90%加硫時間)を測定した。次いで、Tc(90)を超えるような条件下でゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことにより、試験片を準備した。該試験片について、JIS K6253に準拠した硬さ(デュロメータA硬さ)の測定、JIS K6251に準拠した引張強度および伸びの測定を行った。
(b)動的ばね定数Kdの測定
上記(a)と同じ条件でゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことにより、厚さ2mm、幅4mm、長さ20mmの試験片を準備した。次いで、JIS K6394:2007に記載の強制振動非共振方法に準拠して、株式会社UBM製のRheogel-E4000を用い、23±2℃、100Hz、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で引張方法により、試験片の動的ばね定数を測定した。
(c)静的ばね定数Kstの測定
上記(a)と同じ条件でゴム組成物の加圧・加硫を行うことにより、厚さ2mm、幅4mm、長さ20mmの試験片を準備した。次いで、JIS K6394:2007に準拠して、UBM社製のRheogel-E4000を用い、23±2℃、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で引張方法により、試験片の静的ばね定数を測定した。
(d)動倍率Kd/Kstの算出
上記(b)および(c)により測定した動的ばね定数Kdおよび静的ばね定数Kstに基づいて下記式により動倍率Kd/Kstを算出した。
動倍率Kd/Kst=(動的ばね定数Kd)/(静的ばね定数Kst)
(e)ガスケットの損失係数の測定
厚さ400μmのSPCC鋼板の表面をリン酸亜鉛により処理した。この後、該SPCC鋼板上に、フェノール樹脂(シクソン715(商品名))を溶解させたメチルエチルケトン(MEK)を塗布した後、乾燥させた。次いで、各例で作製したゴム組成物をメチルエチルケトン(MEK)中に溶解させた。この後、フェノール樹脂を含むMEK溶液塗布後のSPCC鋼板上に、ゴム組成物が溶解したMEKを塗布した後、200℃のオーブン中でゴム組成物を3分間、加硫することによりSPCC鋼板(金属板)上に厚さ120μmの弾性部を形成した。この結果、SPCC鋼板(金属板)上に弾性部を有する、幅17mm、長さ250mmのガスケットを得た。このようにして得られたガスケットを、シアノアクリレート系の接着剤を介して厚さ250μm、幅17mm、長さ250mmのSUS301板に貼り付けることにより損失係数測定用のサンプルを得た。なお、事前の予備実験により、ガスケットをSUS301板に貼り付けることができるものであれば、接着剤の種類は損失係数の値に影響を及ぼさないことを確認した。
次いで、リオン社製AS14PA5(片持ち梁型)を用い、JIS K7391:2008に準拠して半値幅法、測定温度23±2℃、測定範囲0~1kHzのうち2次の共振周波数により損失係数を測定した。そして、損失係数が0.03以上の時、制振・防振特性は良好であると判断して「○」と評価し、損失係数が0.03未満の時、制振・防振特性は不良であると判断して「×」と評価した。ゴム組成物の組成および制振・防振特性の評価結果を下記表1に示す。
上記(b)および(c)により測定した動的ばね定数Kdおよび静的ばね定数Kstに基づいて下記式により動倍率Kd/Kstを算出した。

(e)ガスケットの損失係数の測定
厚さ400μmのSPCC鋼板の表面をリン酸亜鉛により処理した。この後、該SPCC鋼板上に、フェノール樹脂(シクソン715(商品名))を溶解させたメチルエチルケトン(MEK)を塗布した後、乾燥させた。次いで、各例で作製したゴム組成物をメチルエチルケトン(MEK)中に溶解させた。この後、フェノール樹脂を含むMEK溶液塗布後のSPCC鋼板上に、ゴム組成物が溶解したMEKを塗布した後、200℃のオーブン中でゴム組成物を3分間、加硫することによりSPCC鋼板(金属板)上に厚さ120μmの弾性部を形成した。この結果、SPCC鋼板(金属板)上に弾性部を有する、幅17mm、長さ250mmのガスケットを得た。このようにして得られたガスケットを、シアノアクリレート系の接着剤を介して厚さ250μm、幅17mm、長さ250mmのSUS301板に貼り付けることにより損失係数測定用のサンプルを得た。なお、事前の予備実験により、ガスケットをSUS301板に貼り付けることができるものであれば、接着剤の種類は損失係数の値に影響を及ぼさないことを確認した。

表1の結果より、弾性部を構成するゴムの動倍率Kd/Kstが2.5以下であることにより、損失係数が0.03以上となり制振・防振特性が優れたガスケットが得られたことが分かる。

Claims (6)
- 動的ばね定数Kdと静的ばね定数Kstの比である動倍率Kd/Kstが2.5以下のゴムを含む弾性部を有する、ガスケット。
(動的ばね定数KdはJIS K6394:2007に記載の23±2℃、100Hz、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で測定された定数を表し、
静的ばね定数KstはJIS K6394:2007に記載の23±2℃、ひずみ振幅0.1%の条件下で測定された定数を表す) - 前記ゴムの硬度が90以下である、請求項1に記載のガスケット。
- 金属板と、
