Description
本開示は、車両のバンパーに関する。
車両には、衝突時の衝撃を緩和するためにバンパーが設けられている(例えば、特許文献1を参照)。
車両の車幅方向の外側付近に歩行者が衝突して外側付近で歩行者が倒れると、この倒れた歩行者が車輪に接触する場合があった。
そこで、本開示の目的は、歩行者に対する安全性を向上可能なバンパーを提供することである。

本実施形態に係るバンパーSは、車両の車幅方向に延伸している外側部1と、外側部1よりも車両の内側において、車両の車幅方向に延伸している内側部2であって、内側部2における他の領域よりも変形しやすい脆弱領域21を有する内側部2と、を有する。また、バンパーSは、外側部1と内側部2との間に設けられ、脆弱領域21よりも車両の車幅方向における外側において内側部2に向かって延伸している突出部31を有する補強部材3を有する。
本実施形態に係るバンパーSは、車両の車幅方向に延伸している外側部1と、外側部1よりも車両の内側において、車両の車幅方向に延伸している内側部2であって、内側部2における他の領域よりも変形しやすい脆弱領域21を有する内側部2と、を有する。また、バンパーSは、外側部1と内側部2との間に設けられ、脆弱領域21よりも車両の車幅方向における外側において内側部2に向かって延伸している突出部31を有する補強部材3を有する。
本実施形態に係るバンパーSは、このような内側部2及び補強部材3を有することで、バンパーSの長手方向における両側の端部付近に歩行者が衝突した場合、突出部31が内側部2の脆弱領域21よりも車両の車幅方向における外側の領域を後方に向かって押すため、脆弱領域21が変形する。バンパーSは、脆弱領域21が変形することで、バンパーSの長手方向における両側の端部付近が後方に向かって曲がりやすい。したがって、歩行者がバンパーSに衝突した時点で車両が前方に進んでいる間、バンパーSが、歩行者に接触した状態で斜め前方向に移動する。その結果、歩行者が、車両の車幅方向における外側に向かって回転しながら、車両の外側に向かって倒れやすくなる。
よって、車両の車幅方向の外側付近に歩行者が衝突して外側付近で接触した場合、障害を軽減することができる。また、歩行者が倒れた場合、歩行者が車輪に接触しづらくなることで、バンパーSは、歩行者に対する安全性を向上させることができる。
以上、本開示を実施の形態を用いて説明したが、本開示の技術的範囲は上記実施の形態に記載の範囲には限定されず、その要旨の範囲内で種々の変形及び変更が可能である。例えば、装置の全部又は一部は、任意の単位で機能的又は物理的に分散・統合して構成することができる。また、複数の実施の形態の任意の組み合わせによって生じる新たな実施の形態も、本開示の実施の形態に含まれる。組み合わせによって生じる新たな実施の形態の効果は、もとの実施の形態の効果を併せ持つ。

本開示のバンパーは、歩行者に対する安全性の向上といった点において有用である。

- 車両の車幅方向に延伸している外側部と、
前記外側部よりも前記車両の内側において、前記車幅方向に延伸している内側部であって、前記内側部における他の領域よりも変形しやすい脆弱領域を有する内側部と、
前記外側部と前記内側部との間に設けられ、前記脆弱領域よりも前記車幅方向における外側において前記内側部に向かって延伸している突出部を有する補強部材と、
を有する、バンパー。 - 前記突出部の先端は、前記外側部が前記内側に向かって押されることで、前記内側部の前記外側部側の面における前記脆弱領域よりも前記車幅方向における外側の領域に接する、
請求項1に記載のバンパー。 - 前記内側部は、
前記外側部側に設けられる外側板部と、
前記外側板部の上端から前記内側に向かって延伸している上面板部と、
前記外側板部の下端から前記内側に向かって延伸している下面板部と、
を有し、
前記脆弱領域は、
前記上面板部の前記外側板部と接続されている側とは反対側の端部に形成されている第1凹部と、
前記下面板部の前記外側板部と接続されている側とは反対側の端部に形成されている第2凹部と、
を有する、
請求項1又は2に記載のバンパー。 - 前記バンパーは、前記補強部材として、
前記外側部の前記車幅方向における一端と前記内側部の前記車幅方向における前記一端と同じ側の一端との間に設けられる第1補強部材と、
前記外側部の前記車幅方向における他端と前記内側部の前記車幅方向における前記他端と同じ側の他端との間に設けられる第2補強部材と、
を有し、
前記内側部は、前記脆弱領域として、
前記第1補強部材よりも前記内側に位置する第1脆弱領域と、
前記第2補強部材よりも前記内側に位置する第2脆弱領域と、
を有する、
請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のバンパー。 - 前記外側部は、前記内側部及び前記補強部材よりも変形しやすい、
請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のバンパー。
