  • the technology disclosed herein relates to a valuable medium processing device, a valuable medium processing system, and a valuable medium processing method.
  • Patent Document 1 describes a valuable medium processing device.
  • This valuable medium processing device is a coin processing machine built into an automatic teller machine.
  • the coin processing machine of Patent Document 1 performs a close inspection process.
  • the close inspection process is a process of counting the coins stored in the storage cylinder.
  • the coin processing machine of Patent Literature 1 changes the interval at which coins are paid out from the storage cylinder in accordance with the amount of stored coins during the close inspection process.
  • the coin processor dispenses coins intermittently when the amount of coins stored in the storage cylinder becomes small due to the progress of scrutiny. This stabilizes the payout of coins.
  • the scrutiny process performed by the device for processing valuable media takes a long time, although it depends on the number of valuable media to be scrutinized.
