Description
本発明は、水素含有腹膜透析液を製造するための装置に関する。
腎機能が低下し、水分量の調節と尿素などの老廃物を含む体内有害物質の除去を行うための尿の排泄ができない腎不全患者のための有効な治療法の一つに、腹膜透析が知られている。
この腹膜透析は、患者の腹腔の内部に透析液を注入することによって、患者の腹膜の毛細血管内に存在する老廃物や水分を除去する方法であり、体液(血液)よりも浸透圧の高い腹膜透析液を注入し、腹膜を介した体液と腹膜透析液との間の浸透圧の差を利用して、患者から老廃物や水分を除去する。
また、近年、腹膜透析において透析患者に酸化ストレスが発生することが知られている。これは、透析時に発生する活性酸素が原因であると考えられており、この活性酸素を消去して酸化ストレスの軽減を図ることが提案されている。
例えば、容器に封入された透析液に、水素分子を含有させることにより、高濃度の水素が溶存する透析液を製造する方法が提案されている。より具体的には、透析液が封入され、水素分子透過性を有する容器(透析液バッグ)に、当該容器の外側から水素分子を接触させる(容器を水素含有水に浸漬させる、または容器を水素ガスに接触させる)ことにより、容器を開封することなく、透析液に水素分子を含有させる方法が開示されている。そして、このような方法により、容器の開封に起因する透析液の品質低下という問題が回避できると記載されている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。
しかし、上記特許文献1に記載の腹膜透析液の製造方法においては、水素含有水に、透析液が封入された容器を浸漬した後、水素含有水から容器を取り出して透析を行う必要があるため、利便性が低下するという問題があった。
また、水素含有水に、透析液が封入された容器を浸漬するため、容器の外表面に水素含有水が付着してしまう。その結果、透析液が封入された容器の外表面に雑菌等が繁殖し、腹膜透析を行う際に、透析液が汚染されるという問題があった。
そこで、本発明は、上述の問題に鑑みてなされたものであり、利便性と衛生面に優れる水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置を提供することを目的とする。
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置は、患者の腹腔へ注入する透析液が収容された透析液バッグを備え、透析液バッグと患者との間に、透析液に水素を溶解させる水素溶解装置が設けられ、水素溶解装置は、透析液バッグ及び患者に接続され、透析液に水素を溶解させる給気モジュールと、給気モジュールに接続され、給気モジュールに水素を供給する水素供給手段とを有することを特徴とする。
本発明によれば、腹膜透析を行いながら所望の溶存水素濃度を有する腹膜透析液を得ることが可能になるため、腹膜透析の利便性を向上させることができる。また、衛生面に優れる水素含有腹膜透析液を得ることができる。
図1は、本発明の実施形態に係る水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置の構成を示す概念図であり、図2、図3は、本発明の実施形態に係る水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置における給気モジュールを説明するための斜視図である。
この水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置1は、透析液27が収容された透析液バッグ4と、透析液バッグ4に接続されるとともに、透析液バッグ4より透析液27が供給される腹膜透析装置40と、透析液バッグ4と腹膜透析装置40との間に設けられ、透析液27に水素を溶解させる水素溶解装置6とを備えている。
この水素溶解装置6は、透析液バッグ4及び腹膜透析装置40に接続され、透析液27に水素を溶解させる給気モジュール7と、給気モジュール7に接続され、給気モジュール7に水素を供給する水素供給手段8とを備えている。
給気モジュール7は、図2、図3に示すように、透析液バッグ4及び腹膜透析装置40に接続されるとともに透析液27を腹膜透析装置40に供給する供給管10と、水素供給手段8に接続されるとともに供給管10が収容され、水素が供給される給気モジュール本体11とを有している。
供給管10は、水素分子透過性を有しており、透析液バッグ4に収容された透析液27は供給管10の内側に供給される。なお、供給管10を形成する材料は、水素ガスを透過させるものであれば特に限定されず、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリスチレン等の水素透過性を有する材料を使用することができる。
また、給気モジュール本体11には水素供給口12が設けられており、この水素供給口12を介して、水素供給手段8により、水素ガスが供給管10の外側に供給される。
そして、供給管10の内側に透析液27が供給された状態で、水素が給気モジュール本体11の内部であって供給管10の外側を通過することにより、透析液27に水素が供給される構成となっている。
なお、水素供給手段8としては、給気モジュール7に対して、水素を供給できるものであれば、特に限定されない。例えば、水の電気分解を行う水素発生装置、水と反応して水素を発生する水素化マグネシウムなどの水素発生剤、及び水素ガスボンベ等を使用することができる。
腹膜透析装置40は、図4に示すように、透析装置本体41と、製造された透析液27が導入され、当該透析液27を透析装置本体41に供給する供給管42と、透析装置本体41及び患者50の腹腔に接続され、患者50に対して透析液27を供給する透析カテーテル43とを備えている。また、腹膜透析装置40は、使用されなかった透析液27を廃棄するための廃液処理タンク44と、透析装置本体41と廃液処理タンク44とを接続する接続管45とを備えている。
そして、供給管42を介して、透析液27が透析装置本体41に供給され、透析装置本体41により、透析カテーテル43を介して、患者50の腹腔に透析液27を注入する注液処理、及び腹腔から透析液27を排出する排液処理が行われる。
そして、図1に示すように、水素が供給された透析液27が、腹膜透析装置40へ供給されるとともに、供給された透析液27が腹膜透析装置40から患者50へ供給され、患者50の血液の浄化が行われる。
以上のように、本実施形態においては、透析液バッグ4と腹膜透析装置40との間に、透析液27に水素を溶解させる水素溶解装置6が設けられている。
従って、腹膜透析を行いながら水素を含有する透析液27を得ることが可能になるため、腹膜透析の利便性を向上させることができる。また、衛生面に優れた透析液27を得ることができる。
また、水素溶解装置6は、透析液27に水素を溶解させる給気モジュール7と、給気モジュール7に水素を供給する水素供給手段8のみにより構成されているため、簡単な構成で、透析液27に水素を供給することができる。
また、供給管10を有する給気モジュール7を使用して、透析液27に対して水素を接触させることにより、水素を溶解させる構成としているため、水素を効率よく供給することができる。
なお、上記実施形態は以下のように変更しても良い。
図5に示すように、給気モジュール7において、供給管10をロール状に捲回し、給気モジュール本体11に収容する構成としてもよい。このような構成により、供給管10と水素との接触面積が増大するため、透析液27に対して、水素をより一層効率よく供給することができる。
また、上述の供給管10と給気モジュール本体11により構成された給気モジュール7の代わりに、透析液バッグ4及び腹膜透析装置40に接続された複数本の中空糸を有する給気モジュールを使用してもよい。
この場合、透析液バッグ4により収容された透析液27が中空糸の内側に供給されるとともに、水素供給手段8により、水素が中空糸の外側に供給される。
そして、透析液27が中空糸の内側に供給された状態で、水素が中空糸の外側を通過することにより、透析液27に水素が供給される。
なお、供給される水素ガスの気圧を少ない量で高めて、透析液27に対して水素を効率よく溶解させることができるとの観点から、図2~図3に示す供給管10と給気モジュール本体11により構成された給気モジュール7を使用することが好ましい。
上記実施形態においては、腹膜透析装置40から患者50へ透析液27を供給する構成としたが、図6に示すように、腹膜透析装置40を使用せず、透析液バッグ4を患者50に設けられた管(カテーテル)に接続し、透析液バッグ4に収容された透析液27を、直接、患者50の腹腔へ注入する構成としてもよい。このような構成においても、上記実施形態と同様の効果を得ることができる。
なお、この場合、図6に示すように、透析液バッグ4と患者50との間に、水素溶解装置6が設けられ、水素溶解装置6における給気モジュール7(即ち、供給管10)は、透析液バッグ4及び患者50に接続されることになる。
以上説明したように、本発明は、水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置に、特に、有用である。

Claims (3)
- 患者の腹腔へ注入する透析液が収容された透析液バッグを備えた水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置であって、
前記透析液バッグと前記患者との間に、前記透析液に水素を溶解させる水素溶解装置が設けられ、
前記水素溶解装置は、前記透析液バッグ及び前記患者に接続され、前記透析液に水素を溶解させる給気モジュールと、前記給気モジュールに接続され、該給気モジュールに水素を供給する水素供給手段とを有することを特徴とする水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置。 - 前記給気モジュールは、前記透析液バッグ及び前記患者に接続されるとともに前記透析液を前記患者に供給する供給管と、前記水素供給手段に接続されるとともに前記供給管が収容され、前記水素が供給される給気モジュール本体とを有し、
前記供給管の内側に前記透析液が供給された状態で、前記水素が前記給気モジュール本体の内部であって前記供給管の外側を通過することにより、前記透析液に前記水素が供給されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置。 - 前記供給管がロール状に捲回されて、前記給気モジュール本体に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の水素含有腹膜透析液の製造装置。
