Abstract
Description
本発明は、上述した事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、鞍乗型車両において、整流部材及び把持部をコンパクトに配置するとともに、把持部を目立たなくして外観性を向上できるようにすることを目的とする。
本発明は、車体の後部を覆うリアカウル(53)と、前記リアカウル(53)を側方から覆う整流部材(60)と、同乗者が把持する把持部(71)とを備える鞍乗型車両において、前記整流部材(60)は、走行風(W)が流入する開口部(62)と、前記開口部(62)から流入する前記走行風(W)を後方に流す通風路(61)とを形成し、前記把持部(71)は、前記開口部(62)の後方で前記通風路(61)の内側に設けられることを特徴とする。
また、上記発明において、前記第2の把持部(72)は、前記整流部材(60)とは異なるカバー(57)で覆われても良い。
また、上記発明において、乗員用のシート(14)を支持する左右一対のシートフレーム(20)と、前記シートフレーム(20)を左右に連結するクロスメンバー(20a)とを備え、前記支持部材(73)は、前記シートフレーム(20)に固定されても良い。
また、上記発明において、前記把持部(71)は、前記通風路(61)の上部の内面が上方に窪む凹部であっても良い。
さらに、上記発明において、車両側面視で、前記後面開口部(63)は後上がりに傾斜し、前記凹部は、前記後面開口部(63)の後部の内側に設けられても良い。
この構成によれば、把持部が整流部材の通風路の内側に設けられるため、整流部材及び把持部をコンパクトに配置できるとともに、把持部が通風路の内側に隠れて目立たたなくなり、外観性を向上できる。
また、上記発明において、第2の把持部は、整流部材とは異なるカバーで覆われても良い。この構成によれば、同乗者は、整流部材及びカバーの位置に基づいて、把持部及び第2の把持部の位置を容易に見分けることができる。
また、上記発明において、乗員用のシートを支持する左右一対のシートフレームと、シートフレームを左右に連結するクロスメンバーとを備え、支持部材は、シートフレームに固定されても良い。この構成によれば、支持部材がクロスメンバーではなくシートフレームに固定されるため、把持部のためにクロスメンバーを特別に強化しなくとも、把持部の剛性を確保できる。
また、上記発明において、把持部は、通風路の上部の内面が上方に窪む凹部であっても良い。この構成によれば、把持部は、通風路の上部の内面が上方に窪む凹部であるため、同乗者が把持部を把持し易いとともに、通風路の大きさを拡大でき、整流効果を向上できる。
さらに、上記発明において、車両側面視で、後面開口部は後上がりに傾斜し、凹部は、後面開口部の後部の内側に設けられても良い。この構成によれば、整流部材のデザイン性を向上できるとともに、凹部の深さが深くなり過ぎず、把持部を把持し易い。
自動二輪車1は、車体フレーム10(車体)にパワーユニットとしてのエンジン11が支持され、前輪2を操舵可能に支持するフロントフォーク12が車体フレーム10の前端に操舵可能に支持され、後輪3を支持するスイングアーム13が車体フレーム10の後部に設けられる車両である。
自動二輪車1は、乗員が跨るようにして着座するシート14が車体フレーム10の後部の上方に設けられる鞍乗型車両である。
自動二輪車1は、車体フレーム10等の車体を覆う車体カバー5を備える。
また、車体フレーム10は、メインフレーム16の前端部とダウンフレーム17の前端部とを上下に接続する板状のガセット29を備える。
さらに、車体フレーム10は、メインフレーム16の後部から車両後端部まで後方に延びる左右一対のシートフレーム20と、ピボットフレーム19から後上がりに延びてシートフレーム20の後部に接続される左右一対のサブフレーム21とを備える。
トップブリッジ22及びボトムブリッジ23は、上記ステアリングシャフトから車幅方向に延びて、左右のフォークチューブ24を連結する。
ヘッドパイプ15は後傾して配置される。フォークチューブ24も自動二輪車1のキャスター角に対応して後傾して配置される。
前輪2は、左右のフォークチューブ24の下端部間に渡される車軸2aに軸支される。
スイングアーム13の前端部は、ピボット軸26に軸支され、スイングアーム13は、ピボット軸26を中心に上下に揺動可能である。
後輪3は、スイングアーム13の後端部に設けられる車軸3aに軸支される。
スイングアーム13の上面には、後輪3の前部を上方から覆うインナーフェンダー27が取り付けられる。
スイングアーム13と車体フレーム10の後部との間には、リアサスペンション28が掛け渡される。
エンジン11は、メインフレーム16の下方でダウンフレーム17とピボットフレーム19との間に配置され、クランクケース31が、ダウンフレーム17及びピボットフレーム19によって支持される。
エンジン11の出力は、スイングアーム13に沿うように設けられるドライブチェーン35によって後輪3に伝達される。
シート14は、シートフレーム20に下方から支持され、燃料タンク45に連続して自動二輪車1の後端部まで延びる。シート14は、運転者(乗員)が着座する前側シート14aと、同乗者(乗員)が着座する後側シート14bとを一体に備える。
ピボットフレーム19の左右の側面部には、左右一対のステップブラケット46がそれぞれ取り付けられる。運転者が足を乗せる左右一対のステップ46aは、ステップブラケット46に支持される。
後側シート14bの同乗者が足を乗せるピリオンステップ47aは、左右のサブフレーム21に取り付けられるピリオンステップブラケット47に支持される。
自動二輪車1は、前輪2を上方から覆うフロントフェンダー54と、後輪3を上方から覆うリアフェンダー55とを備える。
自動二輪車1は、リアカウル53を外側方から覆う左右一対の整流部材60を備える。整流部材60は、自動二輪車1の走行風を整流するカバー部材であり、車体カバー5の一部を構成する。
シートフレーム20の後端の後方には、後方に発光するテールランプ59が設けられる。
リアサイドカバー56は、車両側面視において後上がりの姿勢で前後方向に延びる稜線部56cを備える。リアサイドカバー56は、稜線部56cから車幅方向内側且つ上方に延びる上側斜面部56dを備える。上側斜面部56dは、リアサイドカバー56の略全長に亘って設けられる。
リアフェンダー55は、リアサイドカバー56の後部の下面部から後下方に延び、テールランプ59を下方から覆う。
また、整流部材60は、整流部材60の前縁部60aとリアカウル53との間に、通風路61を前方に開口させる開口部62を形成する。
さらに、整流部材60は、整流部材60の後縁部60bとリアカウル53との間に、通風路61を後方に開口させる後面開口部63を形成する。
自動二輪車1の走行風Wは、開口部62から通風路61に流入し、通風路61を通って後面開口部63から後方に排出される。
図5は、整流カバー本体65を取り外した状態における自動二輪車1の後部の右側面図である。
図2~図5を参照し、整流カバー本体65は、車両側面視で後上がりに延びる側壁部67と、側壁部67の上端部から車幅方向内側に延びる上壁部68とを備える。
側壁部67は、車両側面視で、リアサイドカバー56の前端部の下部に重なる位置から、稜線部56cを越えて後上方へ延び、上側斜面部56dの上部に重なる位置まで延びる。
上壁部68は、側壁部67の上端部からリアカウル53の側面の上部に向かって車幅方向内側に延びる。上壁部68は、車両側面視で後上がりに延びる。
整流部材60の前縁部60aは、整流カバー本体65の前縁部であり、整流部材60の後縁部60bは、整流カバー本体65の後縁部である。
インナーカバー66の前部には、インナーカバー66の内面からリアサイドカバー56の上側斜面部56dに向かって車幅方向内側に延びる仕切り板66aが設けられる。仕切り板66aは、通風路61を上下に仕切る。
インナーカバー66の上縁部には、シート14と整流カバー本体65との間の隙間を埋めるリブ66bが設けられる。
通風路61の開口部62及び後面開口部63は、車両側面視で、後上がりに傾斜する。
把持部71は、開口部62の後方で通風路61の内側に設けられる。第2の把持部72は、把持部71の後方で、テールカバー57の下面側に設けられる。
第2の把持部72は、テールカバー57の側方延出部57aの下面側の部分が、車両側面視でテールカバー57の下縁よりも上方に窪む凹部である。
図6~図8を参照し、車体フレーム10は、左右のシートフレーム20の後端部を車幅方向に連結する板状のクロスメンバー20aを備える。
パイプ状のシートフレーム20の後端部の上面には、台座部20bが設けられる。台座部20bの上面は略平坦である。
支持部材73は、シートフレーム20の外側方をシートフレーム20に沿うように前後方向に延在する受け部74と、受け部74から車幅方向内側に延びて台座部20bの上面に固定される板状の固定部75とを備える。
受け部74は、リアサイドカバー56の外側方に位置する。受け部74は、車両前後方向では、通風路61内からテールカバー57の側方延出部57aの下面まで延びる。受け部74の前部は、整流部材60の上部によって上方及び外側方から覆われる。受け部74の後部は、テールカバー57の側方延出部57aによって上方及び外側方から覆われる。
支持部材73は、固定部75に上方から挿通される複数のボルト76によって台座部20bの上面に固定される。
シート14の下面部14cは、台座部20bの上面において固定部75の前後に位置する部分にそれぞれ当接してシートフレーム20に支持される。
下面カバー80は、支持部材73の受け部74に固定され、受け部74の下面を下方から覆う。下面カバー80は、受け部74の前端部及び後端部に挿通される下面カバー固定ボルト81a,81bによって支持部材73に固定される。図8に示すように、下面カバー80の断面形状は、受け部74の受け板部74a、内側リブ74b、及び外側リブ74cに沿う立体形状である。
把持部71は、金属製の支持部材73によって受けられる。このため、把持部71の剛性を高くできる。
把持部71及び第2の把持部72を単一の支持部材73によって受けるため、部品点数を削減できる。
把持部71及び第2の把持部72は、後上がりの姿勢で前後方向に長く延びる凹部である。
下面カバー80の膨出部84は、把持部71と第2の把持部72とを前後に区切る。
また、同乗者は、車幅方向外側からテールカバー57の側方延出部57aの下面側に手を回り込ませて第2の把持部72を把持する。
同乗者は、体格や好みに応じて、把持部71及び第2の把持部72のいずれかを選択して把持することができる。また、運転者や作業者は、自動二輪車1を押し歩きしたり、スタンドで自動二輪車1を駐車したりする際に、把持部71または第2の把持部72を把持して車体を支持することができる。
把持部71は、車両側面視では、整流部材60の側壁部67によって側方から覆われ、通風路61の内側に隠れる。このため、把持部71が目立たなくなり、外観性が良い。
後面開口部63は、車両側面視で後上がりに傾斜しており、把持部71に対する側壁部67の高さは後面開口部63の後端側ほど小さくなる。把持部71は、後面開口部63の後部の内側に設けられるため、後面開口部63から把持部71の底部までの深さが大きくなり過ぎず、同乗者等が把持部71を把持し易い。
第2の把持部72は、整流部材60とは異なるカバーであるテールカバー57の内側に設けられる。テールカバー57の前端と整流部材60の後端との間には、境界部85が形成され、テールカバー57と整流部材60とは容易に見分けが付く。このため、同乗者等は、整流部材60及びテールカバー57を目印にして把持部71及び第2の把持部72の位置を知ることができ、把持部71及び第2の把持部72を容易に把持できる。
また、膨出部84は、整流部材60及びテールカバー57に対し下方に突出して外側に露出する。このため、同乗者等は、膨出部84によっても、把持部71及び第2の把持部72の位置を知ることができる。
また、第2の把持部72は、整流部材60とは異なるカバーであるテールカバー57によって覆われる。この構成によれば、同乗者は、整流部材60及びテールカバー57の位置に基づいて、把持部71及び第2の把持部72の位置を容易に見分けることができる。
また、乗員用のシート14を支持する左右一対のシートフレーム20と、シートフレーム20を左右に連結するクロスメンバー20aとを備え、支持部材73は、シートフレーム20に固定される。この構成によれば、支持部材73がクロスメンバー20aではなくシートフレーム20に固定されるため、把持部71のためにクロスメンバー20aを特別に強化しなくとも、把持部71の剛性を確保できる。
また、把持部71は、通風路61の上部の内面が上方に窪む凹部であるため、同乗者が把持部71を把持し易いとともに、凹部によって通風路61の大きさを拡大でき、整流効果を向上できる。
さらに、車両側面視で、後面開口部63は後上がりに傾斜し、凹部である把持部71は、後面開口部63の後部の内側に設けられる。この構成によれば、整流部材60を後上がりのシャープな形状としてのデザイン性を向上できるとともに、把持部71の凹部の深さが深くなり過ぎず、把持部71を把持し易い。
上記実施の形態では、鞍乗型車両として自動二輪車1を例に挙げて説明したが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、本発明は、前輪または後輪を2つ備える3輪の鞍乗型車両や4輪以上を備える鞍乗型車両に適用可能である。

- 車体の後部を覆うリアカウル(53)と、前記リアカウル(53)を側方から覆う整流部材(60)と、同乗者が把持する把持部(71)とを備える鞍乗型車両において、
前記整流部材(60)は、走行風(W)が流入する開口部(62)と、前記開口部(62)から流入する前記走行風(W)を後方に流す通風路(61)とを形成し、
前記把持部(71)は、前記開口部(62)の後方で前記通風路(61)の内側に設けられることを特徴とする鞍乗型車両。 - 前記把持部(71)の後方に、第2の把持部(72)が設けられることを特徴とする請求項1記載の鞍乗型車両。
- 前記第2の把持部(72)は、前記整流部材(60)とは異なるカバー(57)で覆われることを特徴とする請求項2記載の鞍乗型車両。
- 前記把持部(71)及び前記第2の把持部(72)は、前記把持部(71)及び前記第2の把持部(72)に共用される支持部材(73)によって受けられることを特徴とする請求項2または3記載の鞍乗型車両。
- 乗員用のシート(14)を支持する左右一対のシートフレーム(20)と、前記シートフレーム(20)を左右に連結するクロスメンバー(20a)とを備え、
前記支持部材(73)は、前記シートフレーム(20)に固定されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の鞍乗型車両。 - 前記整流部材(60)は、前記通風路(61)を後方に開口させる後面開口部(63)を備え、
前記把持部(71)は、前記開口部(62)と前記後面開口部(63)との間に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の鞍乗型車両。 - 前記把持部(71)は、前記通風路(61)の上部の内面が上方に窪む凹部であることを特徴とする請求項6記載の鞍乗型車両。
- 車両側面視で、前記後面開口部(63)は後上がりに傾斜し、前記凹部は、前記後面開口部(63)の後部の内側に設けられることを特徴とする請求項7記載の鞍乗型車両。
