Description

空気入りタイヤ
 本発明は、空気入りタイヤに関する。
 乾燥路面での操縦安定性を向上するため、トレッド剛性の確保を狙い、トレッド部の陸部幅を広く設定することが考えられる。しかし、この場合、陸部の幅方向中心の接地圧が低下し、接地領域において陸部のタイヤ周方向の接地長が短くなって、接地長の端部が内側に凹むようになって接地性が悪化する。このため、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能が低下するおそれがある。また、陸部の幅方向中心の接地圧が低下することで、排水性能が低下し、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能も低下するおそれがある。
 従来、例えば、特許文献1~3には、陸部の接地面の幅方向中央を突出するように構成することで、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能や湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の改善を図ることが示されている。また、例えば、特許文献4には、センター主溝をジグザグ形状とする一方で、そのセンター主溝に隣接する陸部に形成されるラグ溝を該陸部内で終端させることにより、陸部の剛性を十分に確保し、乾燥路面での操縦安定性と湿潤路面での操縦安定性とを高い次元で両立することが示されている。

 しかし、近年では、車両の性能向上に伴い、さらなる乾燥路面での操縦安定性能や湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の改善を図ることが望まれている。特に、主溝をジグザグ形状とした場合、溝縁付近の接地圧が不均一となることから、主溝のタイヤ幅方向に隣接する陸部のタイヤ周方向の接地長が短くなって、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能や湿潤路面での操縦安定性能に影響を及ぼす原因となることがわかり、車両の性能向上に伴い、さらなる乾燥路面での操縦安定性能や湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の改善を図ることが望まれている。
 本発明は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであって、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を改善することのできる空気入りタイヤを提供することを目的とする。
 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するために、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤは、トレッド部の接地面にタイヤ周方向に延びるジグザグ形状の周方向主溝と、前記周方向主溝を境として前記周方向主溝のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部と、を有しており、各前記陸部のそれぞれの接地面が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されている。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、各前記陸部は、それぞれの突出量Ha,Hbが、0.2mm≦Ha≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hb≦0.4mmの範囲であることが好ましい。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、各前記陸部の突出量Ha,Hbが、0.9≦Ha/Hb≦1.1の関係を満たすことが好ましい。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、前記トレッド部の接地面においてタイヤ幅方向最外側に区画形成されたショルダー陸部と、前記ショルダー陸部の接地面にタイヤ周方向に交差して延在しタイヤ周方向に複数並設されて前記ショルダー陸部をタイヤ周方向に複数に区画するラグ溝と、を有し、前記周方向主溝は、ジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数が、前記ラグ溝による前記ショルダー陸部のタイヤ周方向の区画数nに対し、n個またはn/2個の関係を満たすことが好ましい。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、前記周方向主溝は、タイヤ赤道面を中心とした接地幅の30%の範囲内に配置されることが好ましい。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、前記周方向主溝は、ジグザグ形状が溝開口端において接地面に開口する三角形状の面取部がタイヤ周方向に複数並んで形成されていることが好ましい。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、前記周方向主溝は、前記面取部のタイヤ幅方向寸法Wgが1.0mm≦Wg≦3.5mmの範囲であり、タイヤ径方向寸法Lgが1.0mm≦Lg≦3.0mmの範囲であることが好ましい。
 また、本発明の一態様に係る空気入りタイヤでは、前記周方向主溝を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各前記陸部は、それぞれの陸部幅Wa,Wbが、0.8≦Wa/Wb≦1.5の関係を満たすことが好ましい。
 本発明によれば、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側のそれぞれの陸部の接地面が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されているため、各陸部のタイヤ幅方向中央部の接地長を確保することができ、これにより各陸部の接地圧を確保することができる。これにより、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝の溝縁付近の接地圧の不均一が抑制されることから、接地作用が向上し、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能を改善することができる。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝の溝縁付近の接地圧の不均一が抑制されることから、当該周方向主溝への除水作用が向上し、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を改善することができる。この結果、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。

 以下に、本発明の実施形態を図面に基づいて詳細に説明する。なお、この実施形態によりこの発明が限定されるものではない。また、この実施形態の構成要素には、当業者が置換可能かつ容易なもの、或いは実質的に同一のものが含まれる。また、この実施形態に記載された複数の変形例は、当業者自明の範囲内にて任意に組み合わせが可能である。

 以下の説明において、タイヤ径方向とは、空気入りタイヤ1の回転軸(図示省略)と直交する方向をいい、タイヤ径方向内側とはタイヤ径方向において回転軸に向かう側、タイヤ径方向外側とはタイヤ径方向において回転軸から離れる側をいう。また、タイヤ周方向とは、回転軸を中心軸とする周り方向をいう。また、タイヤ幅方向とは、回転軸と平行な方向をいい、タイヤ幅方向内側とはタイヤ幅方向においてタイヤ赤道面(タイヤ赤道線)CLに向かう側、タイヤ幅方向外側とはタイヤ幅方向においてタイヤ赤道面CLから離れる側をいう。タイヤ赤道面CLとは、空気入りタイヤ1の回転軸に直交すると共に、空気入りタイヤ1のタイヤ幅の中心を通る平面であり、タイヤ赤道面CLは、空気入りタイヤ1のタイヤ幅方向における中心位置であるタイヤ幅方向中心線と、タイヤ幅方向における位置が一致する。タイヤ赤道線は、タイヤ赤道面CL上にあって空気入りタイヤ1のタイヤ周方向に沿う線をいい、本実施形態では、タイヤ赤道面と同じ符号「CL」を付す。
 本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1は、図1に示すように、トレッド部2と、その両側のショルダー部3と、各ショルダー部3から順次連続するサイドウォール部4及びビード部5とを有している。また、この空気入りタイヤ1は、カーカス層6と、ベルト層7と、ベルト補強層8とを備えている。
 トレッド部2は、ゴム材(トレッドゴム)からなり、空気入りタイヤ1のタイヤ径方向の最も外側で露出し、その外周表面が空気入りタイヤ1の輪郭となる。トレッド部2の外周表面は、主に走行時に路面と接触し得る面であって、接地面10として構成されている。
 ショルダー部3は、トレッド部2のタイヤ幅方向両外側の部位である。また、サイドウォール部4は、空気入りタイヤ1におけるタイヤ幅方向の最も外側に露出したものである。また、ビード部5は、ビードコア15とビードフィラー16とを有する。ビードコア15は、スチールワイヤであるビードワイヤをリング状に巻くことにより形成されている。ビードフィラー16は、カーカス層6のタイヤ幅方向端部がビードコア15の位置で折り返されることにより形成された空間に配置されるゴム材である。
 カーカス層6は、各タイヤ幅方向端部が、一対のビードコア15でタイヤ幅方向内側からタイヤ幅方向外側に折り返され、かつ、タイヤ周方向にトロイド状に掛け回されてタイヤの骨格を構成するものである。このカーカス層6は、タイヤ周方向に対する角度がタイヤ子午線方向に沿いつつタイヤ周方向にある角度を持って複数並設されたカーカスコード(図示省略)が、コートゴムで被覆されたものである。カーカスコードは、例えば、ポリエステルやレーヨンやナイロンなどの有機繊維からなる。このカーカス層6は、少なくとも1層で設けられている。
 ベルト層7は、少なくとも2層のベルト7a,7bを積層した多層構造をなし、トレッド部2においてカーカス層6の外周であるタイヤ径方向外側に配置され、カーカス層6をタイヤ周方向に覆うものである。ベルト7a,7bは、タイヤ周方向に対して所定の角度(例えば、20°~30°)で複数並設されたコード(図示省略)が、コートゴムで被覆されたものである。コードは、例えば、スチール、またはポリエステルやレーヨンやナイロンなどの有機繊維からなる。また、重なり合うベルト7a,7bは、互いのコードが交差するように配置されている。
 ベルト補強層8は、ベルト層7の外周であるタイヤ径方向外側に配置されてベルト層7をタイヤ周方向に覆うものである。ベルト補強層8は、タイヤ周方向に略平行でタイヤ幅方向に複数並設されたコード(図示省略)がコートゴムで被覆されたものである。コードは、例えば、スチール、またはポリエステルやレーヨンやナイロンなどの有機繊維からなり、コードの角度はタイヤ周方向に対して±5°の範囲内になっている。図1で示すベルト補強層8は、ベルト層7全体を覆うように配置されている。ベルト補強層8の構成は、上記に限らず、図には明示しないが、ベルト層7のタイヤ幅方向端部のみを覆うように配置された構成、または、例えば2層の補強層を有し、タイヤ径方向内側の補強層がベルト層7よりもタイヤ幅方向で大きく形成されてベルト層7全体を覆うように配置され、タイヤ径方向外側の補強層がベルト層7のタイヤ幅方向端部のみを覆うように配置されている構成、あるいは、例えば2層の補強層を有し、各補強層がベルト層7のタイヤ幅方向端部のみを覆うように配置されている構成であってもよい。即ち、ベルト補強層8は、ベルト層7の少なくともタイヤ幅方向端部に重なるものである。また、ベルト補強層8は、例えば幅が10mm程度の帯状のストリップ材をタイヤ周方向に巻き付けて設けられている。
 なお、上述した空気入りタイヤ1の内部構造は、空気入りタイヤ1における代表的な例を示すものであるが、内部構造は、これに限定されるものではない。
 本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1は、車両に対する装着方向が指定されている。すなわち、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1は、車両に装着した場合、タイヤ幅方向において、車両の外側および内側に対する向きが指定されている。向きの指定は、図には明示しないが、例えば、サイドウォール部4に設けられた指標により示される。このため、車両に装着した場合に車両の外側に向く側が車両外側となり、車両の内側に向く側が車両内側となる。なお、車両外側および車両内側の指定は、車両に装着した場合に限らない。例えば、リム組みした場合に、タイヤ幅方向において、車両の外側および内側に対するリムの向きが決まっている。このため、空気入りタイヤ1は、リム組みした場合、タイヤ幅方向において、車両外側および車両内側に対する向きが指定される。
 トレッド部2の接地面10は、タイヤ周方向に延在してタイヤ全周に渡って連続する周方向主溝20がタイヤ幅方向に4本並んで形成されている。
 周方向主溝20は、JATMAに規定されるウェアインジケータの表示義務を有する溝であり、3.0mm以上の溝幅および6.0mm以上の溝深さを有する。
 なお、以下に説明する溝幅やサイプ幅や陸部幅は、空気入りタイヤ1を規定リムに装着して規定内圧を充填した無負荷状態(規定荷重=0)にて、接地面10に開口する両溝開口端のタイヤ幅方向の寸法の最大値として測定される。溝開口縁に切欠部や面取部25が形成されている構成では、溝開口端を切欠部や面取部25の外縁として溝幅は切欠部や面取部25を含み測定される。溝深さやサイプ深さは、空気入りタイヤ1を規定リムに装着して規定内圧を充填した無負荷状態(規定荷重=0)にて、接地面10から溝底までの寸法の最大値として測定される。
 規定リムとは、JATMAで規定する「標準リム」、TRAで規定する「Design Rim」、或いは、ETRTOで規定する「Measuring Rim」である。また、規定内圧とは、JATMAで規定する「最高空気圧」、TRAで規定する「TIRE LOAD LIMITS AT VARIOUS COLD INFLATION PRESSURES」に記載の最大値、或いはETRTOで規定する「INFLATION PRESSURES」である。また、規定荷重とは、JATMAで規定する「最大負荷能力」、TRAで規定する「TIRE LOAD LIMITS AT VARIOUS COLD INFLATION PRESSURES」に記載の最大値、或いはETRTOで規定する「LOAD CAPACITY」である。
 周方向主溝20は、タイヤ赤道面CLを境界としてタイヤ幅方向外側に2本ずつ配置されている。そして、車両外側において、タイヤ赤道面CL寄りの周方向主溝20を外側センター主溝(センター主溝と呼ぶこともできる)21と呼び、外側センター主溝21のタイヤ幅方向外側の周方向主溝20を外側ショルダー主溝(ショルダー主溝と呼ぶこともできる)23と呼ぶ。車両内側において、タイヤ赤道面CL寄りの周方向主溝20を内側センター主溝(センター主溝と呼ぶこともできる)22と呼び、内側センター主溝22のタイヤ幅方向外側の周方向主溝20を内側ショルダー主溝(ショルダー主溝と呼ぶこともできる)24と呼ぶ。
 本実施形態において、周方向主溝20は、外側センター主溝21がタイヤ周方向に沿いつつタイヤ幅方向両側に一定間隔で屈曲したジグザグ状に形成されている。他の内側センター主溝22、外側ショルダー主溝23、内側ショルダー主溝24は、タイヤ周方向に直線状に形成されている。外側センター主溝21は、図4および図5に示すように、その溝開口端において接地面10に長尺部25aと短尺部25bとを有する三角形状の面取部25がタイヤ周方向に並んで形成され、両溝開口端において面取部25の長尺部25aおよび短尺部25bが点対称の配置とされることで、ジグザグ状に形成されている。なお、図には明示しないが、外側センター主溝21は、その溝壁において、平面視で長尺部25aと短尺部25bとを有する三角形状の凹部が接地面10および溝底に連通してタイヤ周方向に並んで形成され、両溝壁において凹部の長尺部25aおよび短尺部25bが点対称の配置とされることで、溝自体がジグザグ状に形成されていてもよい。
 また、トレッド部2の接地面10は、4本の周方向主溝20(21,22,23,24)により、タイヤ幅方向に並ぶ5本の陸部30が区画形成されている。そして、外側センター主溝21と内側センター主溝22との間に形成されたタイヤ赤道面CL上の陸部30をセンター陸部31と呼ぶ。車両外側において、外側センター主溝21と外側ショルダー主溝23との間に形成された陸部30を外側ミドル陸部(ミドル陸部と呼ぶこともできる)32と呼び、外側ショルダー主溝23のタイヤ幅方向外側に形成された陸部30を外側ショルダー陸部(ショルダー陸部と呼ぶこともできる)34と呼ぶ。車両内側において、内側センター主溝22と内側ショルダー主溝24との間に形成された陸部30を内側ミドル陸部(ミドル陸部と呼ぶこともできる)33と呼び、内側ショルダー主溝24のタイヤ幅方向外側に形成された陸部30を内側ショルダー陸部(ショルダー陸部と呼ぶこともできる)35と呼ぶ。外側ショルダー主溝23と内側ショルダー主溝24とは、それぞれ接地端T上に位置している。
 接地端Tは、接地領域のタイヤ幅方向における両最外端であり、図2では、接地端Tをタイヤ周方向に連続して示している。接地領域は、空気入りタイヤ1を規定リムにリム組みし、かつ、規定内圧を充填すると共に規定荷重の70%をかけたとき、この空気入りタイヤ1のトレッド部2の接地面10が乾燥した平坦な路面と接地する領域である。
 センター陸部31は、接地面10にサイプ41のみ形成されている。サイプ41は、内側センター主溝22に一端が連通してタイヤ赤道面CL側(タイヤ幅方向内側)に延在し、センター陸部31の接地面10内で他端が終端して設けられている。サイプ41は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。サイプ41は、サイプ幅が0.6mm以上1.8mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプ深さが3.0mm以上7.0mm以下の範囲内である。サイプ41は、接地面10が接地したときに閉塞する。サイプ41は、センター陸部31に複数のラグ溝がタイヤ周方向に配列された構成と比較して、トレッド剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。また、サイプ41は、タイヤ周方向に対する傾斜角が、45deg以上80deg以下の範囲内にある。サイプ41は、傾斜角が45deg以上を確保されることでチッピング摩耗の発生の抑制に寄与し、80deg以下を確保されることでエッジ効果により湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 サイプ41は、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L1と、センター陸部31の陸部幅Wccとが0.30≦L1/Wcc≦0.60の関係を有することが好ましい。センター陸部31の陸部幅Wccは、周方向主溝20における面取部25を除く接地面10のタイヤ幅方向の寸法であり、路面に実際に接地し得る接地幅ともいう。以下、他の陸部の陸部幅の定義も同様である。サイプ41は、0.30≦L1/Wccにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L1/Wcc≦0.60により、センター陸部31の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。
 外側ミドル陸部32は、接地面10にラグ溝51およびサイプ42のみ形成されている。
 ラグ溝51は、外側ショルダー主溝23に一端が連通してタイヤ幅方向内側に延在し、外側ミドル陸部32の接地面10内で他端が終端して設けられている。ラグ溝51は、主にタイヤ幅方向へ長尺状に延在して形成され、他端において屈曲部が設けられて主にタイヤ周方向に短尺状に延在して形成されている。ラグ溝51は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。ラグ溝51は、溝底において長尺方向に沿ってサイプ(図示略)が形成されており、当該サイプの接地面10側に面取が形成されていることで、上記構成に形成されている。面取は、サイプのサイプ幅の両側にあっても、サイプ幅の片側のみにあってもよい。ラグ溝51は、サイプのサイプ幅が0.3mm以上1.5mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプの接地面10からのサイプ深さが3.3mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にある。ラグ溝51は、サイプ深さのうちの面取の深さが、1.0mm以上3.0mm以下の範囲内にあり、面取の幅が、1.5mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にある。このラグ溝51は、接地面10が接地したときにサイプのみ閉塞する。
 ラグ溝51は、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L2と、外側ミドル陸部32の陸部幅Wcoとが0.65≦L2/Wco≦0.85の関係を有することが好ましい。ラグ溝51は、0.65≦L2/Wcoにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L2/Wco≦0.85により、外側ミドル陸部32の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。特に、ラグ溝51が外側ミドル陸部32において除水作用の寄与が高いタイヤ幅方向外側(接地端T側)のエッジ部に配置されていることで、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上への寄与が高い。
 サイプ42は、タイヤ周方向で隣り合う各ラグ溝51の終端部の間に単一で配置されて、主にタイヤ周方向に延在する。サイプ42は、ラグ溝51および周方向主溝20に連通せず、両端が外側ミドル陸部32の接地面10内で終端して設けられている。サイプ42は、外側センター主溝21の面取部25の長尺部25aに対して平行に延在する。サイプ42は、サイプ幅が0.6mm以上1.8mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプ深さが3.0mm以上7.0mm以下の範囲内である。サイプ42は、接地面10が接地したときに閉塞する。サイプ42は、上記の如く、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L2のラグ溝51と、当該ラグ溝51の終端部の間での配置により、ラグ溝51および周方向主溝20との配置関係が適正化されているため、外側ミドル陸部32の剛性を均一化して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。
 内側ミドル陸部33は、接地面10にラグ溝52およびサイプ43のみ形成されている。
 ラグ溝52は、内側ショルダー主溝24に一端が連通してタイヤ幅方向内側に延在し、内側ミドル陸部33の接地面10内で他端が終端して設けられている。ラグ溝52は、主にタイヤ幅方向へ長尺状に延在して形成されている。ラグ溝52は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。ラグ溝52は、溝底において長尺方向に沿ってサイプ(図示略)が形成されており、当該サイプの接地面10側に面取が形成されていることで、上記構成に形成されている。面取は、サイプのサイプ幅の両側にあっても、サイプ幅の片側のみにあってもよい。ラグ溝52は、サイプのサイプ幅が0.3mm以上1.5mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプの接地面10からのサイプ深さが3.3mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にある。ラグ溝51は、サイプ深さのうちの面取の深さが、1.0mm以上3.0mm以下の範囲内にあり、面取の幅が、1.5mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にある。このラグ溝51は、接地面10が接地したときにサイプのみ閉塞する。
 ラグ溝52は、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L3と、内側ミドル陸部33の陸部幅Wciとが0.60≦L3/Wci≦0.70の関係を有することが好ましい。ラグ溝52は、0.60≦L3/Wciにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L3/Wci≦0.70により、内側ミドル陸部33の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。
 サイプ43は、内側センター主溝22に一端が連通してタイヤ幅方向外側に延在し、内側ミドル陸部33の接地面10内で他端が終端して設けられている。サイプ43は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。サイプ43は、サイプ幅が0.6mm以上1.8mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプ深さが3.0mm以上7.0mm以下の範囲内である。サイプ43は、接地面10が接地したときに閉塞する。サイプ43は、ラグ溝52に対してタイヤ周方向で交互に配置される。これにより、ラグ溝のみあるいはサイプのみがタイヤ周方向に配置される構成と比較して、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与すると共に、内側ミドル陸部33の剛性バランスを確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。特に、ラグ溝52が内側ミドル陸部33において除水作用の寄与が高いタイヤ幅方向外側(接地端T側)のエッジ部に配置され、サイプ43が内側ミドル陸部33において剛性向上の寄与が高いタイヤ幅方向内側(タイヤ赤道面CL側)のエッジ部に配置されることにより、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能および乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の相互のバランスを効果的に高めることができる。
 サイプ43は、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L4と、内側ミドル陸部33の陸部幅Wciとが0.20≦L4/Wci≦0.25の関係を有することが好ましい。サイプ43は、0.20≦L4/Wciにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L4/Wci≦0.25により、内側ミドル陸部33の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。
 なお、サイプ43とラグ溝52とは、タイヤ周方向で視たときに互いに重なることなく配置されている。具体的に、サイプ43の終端とラグ溝52の終端とのタイヤ幅方向の寸法D2が、内側ミドル陸部33の陸部幅Wciに対して、0.05≦D2/Wci≦0.20の範囲にあることが好ましい。これにより、両者がタイヤ周方向で視たときに互いに重なる構成と比較して、内側ミドル陸部33の剛性が確保されて、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 また、内側ミドル陸部33のサイプ43とセンター陸部31のサイプ41とは、タイヤ周方向に対して相互に同一方向に傾斜する。また、サイプ43とサイプ41とは、相互の延長線に沿って延在し、内側センター主溝22を間において内側センター主溝22に連通する一端が互いに対向するように設けられている。これにより、サイプ43とサイプ41とは、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 外側ショルダー陸部34は、接地面10にラグ溝53およびサイプ44のみ形成されている。
 ラグ溝53は、タイヤ幅方向外側から接地端Tに交差してタイヤ幅方向内側に延在し、延在端が外側ショルダー主溝23に連通することなく外側ショルダー陸部34の接地面10内で終端して設けられている。ラグ溝53は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。ラグ溝53は、溝幅が、1.5mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にあり、溝深さが外側ショルダー主溝23の溝深さの55%以上80%以下の範囲にある。
 ラグ溝53は、接地端Tからタイヤ幅方向内側の寸法L5と、外側ショルダー陸部34の陸部幅Wsoとが0.50≦L5/Wso≦0.85の関係を有することが好ましい。ラグ溝53は、0.50≦L5/Wsoにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L5/Wso≦0.85により、外側ショルダー陸部34の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。外側ショルダー陸部34の陸部幅Wsoは、外側ショルダー主溝23のタイヤ幅方向外側のエッジ部と、車両外側の接地端Tとの間のタイヤ幅方向の寸法である。
 サイプ44は、外側ショルダー主溝23に一端が連通してタイヤ幅方向外側に延在し、接地端Tに交差することなく外側ショルダー陸部34の接地面10内で他端が終端して設けられている。サイプ44は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。サイプ44は、サイプ幅が0.6mm以上1.8mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプ深さが3.0mm以上7.0mm以下の範囲内である。サイプ44は、接地面10が接地したときに閉塞する。サイプ44は、ラグ溝53に対してタイヤ周方向で交互に配置される。これにより、ラグ溝のみあるいはサイプのみがタイヤ周方向に配置される構成と比較して、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与すると共に、外側ショルダー陸部34の剛性バランスを確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 サイプ44は、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L6と、外側ショルダー陸部34の陸部幅Wsoとが0.50≦L6/Wso≦0.85の関係を有することが好ましい。サイプ44は、0.50≦L6/Wsoにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L6/Wso≦0.85により、外側ショルダー陸部34の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。
 なお、サイプ44とラグ溝53とは、タイヤ周方向で視たときに互いに重なるように配置されている。具体的に、相互に重なるサイプ44の終端とラグ溝53の終端とのタイヤ幅方向の寸法D3が、外側ショルダー陸部34の陸部幅Wsoに対して、0.50≦D3/Wso≦0.70の範囲にあることが好ましい。これにより、両者がタイヤ周方向で視たときに互いに重ならない構成と比較して、除水作用が確保されて、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 内側ショルダー陸部35は、周方向細溝61、ラグ溝54およびサイプ45のみ形成されている。
 周方向細溝61は、タイヤ周方向に延在する細溝であり、タイヤ全周に渡って連続している。周方向細溝61は、溝幅が0.8mm以上3.0mm以下の範囲内にあり、溝深さが0.8mm以上3.0mm以下の範囲内にある。内側ショルダー陸部35は、周方向細溝61により、内側ショルダー主溝24側であるタイヤ幅方向内側の内側陸部351と、接地端T側であるタイヤ幅方向外側の外側陸部352とに分断される。
 周方向細溝61のタイヤ幅方向外側あのエッジ部から車両内側の接地端Tまでのタイヤ幅方向の寸法D4と、内側ショルダー陸部35の陸部幅Wsiとが、0.55≦D4/Wsi≦0.85の関係を有することが好ましい。これにより、周方向細溝61は、内側ショルダー陸部35において、周方向細溝61のタイヤ幅方向の位置を設定し、除水作用が適正化して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。また、周方向細溝61は、内側ショルダー陸部35において、内側陸部351および外側陸部352の陸部幅を設定し、内側陸部351および外側陸部352の剛性を適正化して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 ラグ溝54は、タイヤ幅方向外側から接地端Tに交差してタイヤ幅方向内側に延在し、延在端が内側ショルダー主溝24に連通することなく内側ショルダー陸部35の接地面10内で終端して設けられている。ラグ溝54は、周方向細溝61に貫通し、終端が内側陸部351の接地面10内に存在する。ラグ溝54は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。ラグ溝54は、溝幅が、1.5mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にあり、溝深さが内側ショルダー主溝24の溝深さの55%以上80%以下の範囲にある。
 ラグ溝54は、接地端Tからタイヤ幅方向内側の寸法L7と、内側ショルダー陸部35の陸部幅Wsiとが0.60≦L7/Wsi≦0.85の関係を有することが好ましい。ラグ溝54は、0.60≦L7/Wsiにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L7/Wsi≦0.85により、内側ショルダー陸部35の剛性であって特に内側陸部351の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。内側ショルダー陸部35の陸部幅Wsiは、内側ショルダー主溝24のタイヤ幅方向外側のエッジ部と、車両内側の接地端Tとの間のタイヤ幅方向の寸法である。
 サイプ45は、内側ショルダー主溝24に一端が連通してタイヤ幅方向外側に延在し、接地端Tに交差することなく内側ショルダー陸部35の接地面10内で他端が終端して設けられている。サイプ45は、周方向細溝61に貫通し、終端が外側陸部352の接地面10内に存在する。サイプ45は、タイヤ周方向に間隔をおいて複数配置されている。サイプ45は、サイプ幅が0.6mm以上1.8mm以下の範囲内にあり、サイプ深さが3.0mm以上7.0mm以下の範囲内である。サイプ45は、接地面10が接地したときに閉塞する。サイプ45は、ラグ溝53に対してタイヤ周方向で交互に配置される。これにより、ラグ溝のみあるいはサイプのみがタイヤ周方向に配置される構成と比較して、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与すると共に、内側ショルダー陸部35の剛性バランスを確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 サイプ45は、タイヤ幅方向の寸法L8と、内側ショルダー陸部35の陸部幅Wsiとが0.70≦L8/Wsi≦0.90の関係を有することが好ましい。サイプ45は、0.70≦L8/Wsiにより、除水作用を確保して、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与し、L8/Wsi≦0.90により、内側ショルダー陸部35の剛性であって特に外側陸部352の剛性を確保して、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能に寄与する。
 なお、サイプ45とラグ溝54とは、タイヤ周方向で視たときに互いに重なるように配置されている。これにより、両者がタイヤ周方向で視たときに互いに重ならない構成と比較して、除水作用が確保されて、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の向上に寄与する。
 上述した本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1は、トレッド部2の接地面10にタイヤ周方向に延びるジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側センター主溝21と、外側センター主溝21を境として外側センター主溝21のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部30であるセンター陸部31および外側ミドル陸部32と、を有しており、センター陸部31および外側ミドル陸部32のそれぞれの接地面10が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されている。
 本実施形態において、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝は、外側センター主溝21であるが、これに限定されない。例えば、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20は、内側センター主溝22であってもよく、この場合、内側センター主溝22を境として内側センター主溝22のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部30は、センター陸部31および内側ミドル陸部33となる。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20は、外側ショルダー主溝23であってもよく、この場合、外側ショルダー主溝23を境として外側ショルダー主溝23のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部30は、外側ミドル陸部32および外側ショルダー陸部34となる。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20は、内側ショルダー主溝24であってもよく、この場合、内側ショルダー主溝24を境として内側ショルダー主溝24のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部30は、内側ミドル陸部33および内側ショルダー陸部35となる。
 ここで、図3に示すように、基準プロファイルは、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20における各溝開口端、およびジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側のそれぞれの陸部30をなす他の周方向主溝20や接地端Tの3点を通過する円弧である。
 具体的に、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20が外側センター主溝21の場合、外側センター主溝21のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたセンター陸部31および外側ミドル陸部32の接地面10がタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成される。この場合、図3に示すように、センター陸部31の基準プロファイルPRccは、空気入りタイヤ1を規定リムに装着して規定内圧を充填した無負荷状態(規定荷重=0)の子午断面視で、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側センター主溝21における各溝開口端P1o,P2o、およびセンター陸部31をなす他の周方向主溝20である内側センター主溝22のセンター陸部31側の溝開口端P1iの3点を通過する円弧である。そして、センター陸部31の接地面10は、外側センター主溝21の溝開口端P1oと内側センター主溝22の溝開口端P1iとの間のタイヤ幅方向の寸法であるセンター陸部31の陸部幅Wccにおいて、各溝開口端P1o,P1iからタイヤ幅方向の中央部に向けて漸次曲線(または円弧)にてタイヤ径方向外側に突出している。即ち、言い換えると、センター陸部31の突出量Hccは、陸部幅Wccのタイヤ幅方向の端部である各溝開口端P1o,P1iに対する基準プロファイルPRccからの突出差となる。また、外側ミドル陸部32の基準プロファイルPRcoは、空気入りタイヤ1を規定リムに装着して規定内圧を充填した無負荷状態(規定荷重=0)の子午断面視で、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側センター主溝21における各溝開口端P1o,P2o、および外側ミドル陸部32をなす他の周方向主溝20である外側ショルダー主溝23の外側ミドル陸部32側の溝開口端P4oの3点を通過する円弧である。そして、外側ミドル陸部32の接地面10は、外側センター主溝21の溝開口端P2oと外側ショルダー主溝23の溝開口端P3oとの間のタイヤ幅方向の寸法である外側ミドル陸部32の陸部幅Wcoにおいて、各溝開口端P2o,P3oからタイヤ幅方向の中央部に向けて漸次曲線(または円弧)にてタイヤ径方向外側に突出している。即ち、言い換えると、外側ミドル陸部32の突出量Hcoは、陸部幅Wcoのタイヤ幅方向の端部である各溝開口端P2o,P3oに対する基準プロファイルPRcoからの突出差となる。

 従って、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1は、トレッド部2の接地面10にタイヤ周方向に延びるジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20と、この周方向主溝20を境として周方向主溝20のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部30と、を有しており、各陸部30のそれぞれの接地面10が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されている。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側のそれぞれの陸部30の接地面10が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されているため、各陸部30のタイヤ幅方向中央部の接地長を確保することができ、これにより各陸部30の接地圧を確保することができる。これにより、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20の溝縁付近の接地圧の不均一が抑制されることから、接地作用が向上し、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能を改善することができる。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20の溝縁付近の接地圧の不均一が抑制されることから、当該周方向主溝20への除水作用が向上し、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を改善することができる。この結果、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各陸部30は、それぞれの突出量Ha,Hbが、0.2mm≦Ha≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hb≦0.4mmの範囲であることが好ましい。
 ここで、各陸部30の突出量Ha,Hbは、上述したセンター陸部31の突出量Hccや、外側ミドル陸部32の突出量Hcoや、内側ミドル陸部33の突出量Hciや、外側ショルダー陸部34の突出量Hsoや、内側ショルダー陸部35の突出量Hsiに相当する。即ち、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側センター主溝21のタイヤ幅方向両側のセンター陸部31の突出量Hccおよび外側ミドル陸部32の突出量Hcoが、0.2mm≦Hcc≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hco≦0.4mmの範囲であることが好ましい。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である内側センター主溝22のタイヤ幅方向両側のセンター陸部31の突出量Hccおよび内側ミドル陸部33の突出量Hciが、0.2mm≦Hcc≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hci≦0.4mmの範囲であることが好ましい。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側ショルダー主溝23のタイヤ幅方向両側の外側ミドル陸部32の突出量Hcoおよび外側ショルダー陸部34の突出量Hsoが、0.2mm≦Hco≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hso≦0.4mmの範囲であることが好ましい。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である内側ショルダー主溝24のタイヤ幅方向両側の内側ミドル陸部33の突出量Hciおよび内側ショルダー陸部35の突出量Hsiが、0.2mm≦Hci≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hsi≦0.4mmの範囲であることが好ましい。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各陸部30の突出量Ha,Hbを0.2mm以上とすることで、タイヤ幅方向中心位置付近での接地圧を、タイヤ幅方向両外側位置での接地圧にさらに近づけることができ、0.4mm以下とすることで、タイヤ幅方向中心位置付近での突出量Ha,Hbを抑制し、タイヤ幅方向両外側位置での接地圧の過度な低下を抑制することができる。これらの結果、路面とのグリップ力を高め、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各陸部30の突出量Ha,Hbが、0.9≦Ha/Hb≦1.1の関係を満たすことが好ましい。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各陸部30において、接地圧の過度な変動を抑制することができ、これらの接地性を良好として、路面とのクリップ力を高めることができる。この結果、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、図2に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(図2では、外側センター主溝21)は、ジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数が規定されており、タイヤ幅方向最外側に区画形成されたショルダー陸部(本実施形態では外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35)のラグ溝53,54による外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35のタイヤ周方向の区画数nに対し、n個の関係を満たす。即ち、図2に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20は、ジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数がラグ溝53,54による外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35のタイヤ周方向の区画数nと同じである。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、図6に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(図6では、外側センター主溝21)は、ジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数が規定されており、タイヤ幅方向最外側に区画形成されたショルダー陸部(本実施形態では外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35)のラグ溝53,55およびラグ溝54,56による外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35のタイヤ周方向の区画数nに対し、n/2個の関係を満たす。即ち、図6に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20は、ジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数がラグ溝53,54による外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35のタイヤ周方向の区画数nの半分である。
 ここで、図6に示すように、外側ショルダー陸部34のラグ溝55は、ラグ溝53の間に配置され、接地端Tを超えてサイプ44に連通して設けられている。ラグ溝55は、溝幅が、1.5mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にあり、溝深さが外側ショルダー主溝23の溝深さの55%以上80%以下の範囲にある。また、内側ショルダー陸部35のラグ溝56は、ラグ溝54の間に配置され、接地端Tを超えてサイプ45に連通して設けられている。ラグ溝56は、溝幅が、1.5mm以上4.5mm以下の範囲内にあり、溝深さが内側ショルダー主溝24の溝深さの55%以上80%以下の範囲にある。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上するうえで、特に旋回時は外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35の除水作用を高めるために、図6に示すように、外側ショルダー陸部34にラグ溝53,55を設け、内側ショルダー陸部35にラグ溝54,56を設けることが好ましい。この場合、ラグ溝53,55やラグ溝54,56を設けることにより外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35の剛性低下が懸念されるため、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(図6では、外側センター主溝21)におけるジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数を、外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35のタイヤ周方向の区画数nに対してn/2個とすることでジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20の溝縁付近の剛性を確保し、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の低下を抑制する。一方、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能を向上するうえで、外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35の剛性を高めるため、図2に示すように、外側ショルダー陸部34にラグ溝53のみを設け、内側ショルダー陸部35にラグ溝54のみを設けることが好ましい。この場合、ラグ溝53のみやラグ溝54のみのため外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35の除水作用の低下が懸念されるため、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(図6では、外側センター主溝21)におけるジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数を、外側ショルダー陸部34および内側ショルダー陸部35のタイヤ周方向の区画数nに対してn個とすることでジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20の溝縁付近の除水作用を確保し、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能の低下を抑制する。この結果、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、図2、図3および図6に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(本実施形態では、外側センター主溝21)は、タイヤ赤道面CLを中心とした接地幅の30%の範囲WTC内に配置されることが好ましい。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、タイヤ赤道面CLを中心とした接地幅の30%の範囲WTC内は、最も接地長が長くなる部分であり、この部分に除水作用の高いジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を配置することで、排水性能を向上する。この結果、湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、図4および図5に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(本実施形態では、外側センター主溝21)は、ジグザグ形状が溝開口端において接地面10に開口する三角形状の面取部25がタイヤ周方向に複数並んで形成されていることが好ましい。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、ジグザグ形状を溝開口端において面取部25により形成することで、周方向主溝20溝底側の剛性を確保することができる。この結果、ジグザグ形状により湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上しつつ、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、図4および図5に示すように、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(本実施形態では、外側センター主溝21)は、面取部25の長さ方向であるタイヤ幅方向寸法Wgが1.0mm≦Wg≦3.5mmの範囲であり、深さ方向であるタイヤ径方向寸法Lgが1.0mm≦Lg≦3.0mmの範囲であることが好ましい。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、面取部25による除水作用を得つつ、周方向主溝20溝底側の剛性を確保することができる。この結果、ジグザグ形状により湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上しつつ、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 また、本実施形態の空気入りタイヤ1では、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20(本実施形態では、外側センター主溝21)を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各陸部30は、それぞれの陸部幅Wa,Wbが、0.8≦Wa/Wb≦1.5の関係を満たす。
 ここで、各陸部30の陸部幅Wa,Wbは、上述したセンター陸部31の陸部幅Wccや、外側ミドル陸部32の陸部幅Wcoや、内側ミドル陸部33の陸部幅Wciや、外側ショルダー陸部34の陸部幅Wsoや、内側ショルダー陸部35の陸部幅Wsiに相当する。即ち、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側センター主溝21のタイヤ幅方向両側のセンター陸部31の陸部幅Wccおよび外側ミドル陸部32の陸部幅Wcoが、0.8≦Wcc/Wco≦1.5の関係を満たすことが好ましい。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である内側センター主溝22のタイヤ幅方向両側のセンター陸部31の陸部幅Wccおよび内側ミドル陸部33の陸部幅Wciが、0.8≦Wcc/Wci≦1.5の関係を満たすことが好ましい。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である外側ショルダー主溝23のタイヤ幅方向両側の外側ミドル陸部32の陸部幅Wcoおよび外側ショルダー陸部34の陸部幅Wsoが、0.8≦Wco/Wso≦1.5の関係を満たすことが好ましい。また、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20である内側ショルダー主溝24のタイヤ幅方向両側の内側ミドル陸部33の陸部幅Wciおよび内側ショルダー陸部35の陸部幅Wsiが、0.8≦Wci/Wsi≦1.5の関係を満たすことが好ましい。
 この空気入りタイヤ1によれば、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝20を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各陸部30において、接地圧の過度な変動を抑制することができ、これらの接地性を良好として、路面とのクリップ力を高めることができる。この結果、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能を向上することができる。
 本実施例では、条件が異なる複数種類の空気入りタイヤについて、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能(ドライ性能とも言う)および湿潤路面で操縦安定性能(ウエット性能とも言う)に関する性能試験が行われた(図7参照)。
 性能評価試験は、JATMAで規定されるタイヤの呼びが225/50R17 98Wサイズの試験タイヤである空気入りタイヤを、リムサイズ17×75Jの正規リムに組み付けて内圧230kPaを充填し、セダンタイプの試験車両の全後輪全てに装着した。
 乾燥路面での操縦安定性能の評価方法は、乾燥路面のテストコースを走向し、専門のテストドライバーが制駆動性能やレーンチェンジ性能、コーナリング性能などに関してフィーリング評価を行う。この評価は、従来例を基準(100)とした指数評価が行われる。この評価は、指数が高いほど乾燥路面で操縦安定性能が優れていることを示している。
 湿潤路面で操縦安定性能の評価方法は、湿潤路面のテストコースを走向し、専門のテストドライバーが制駆動性能やレーンチェンジ性能、コーナリング性能などに関してフィーリング評価を行う。この評価は、従来例を基準(100)とした指数評価が行われる。この評価は、指数が高いほど湿潤路面で操縦安定性能が優れていることを示している。
 図7において、従来例、および実施例1~実施例15の空気入りタイヤは、図2および図6に示すようなトレッド部の接地面にタイヤ周方向に延びる4本の周方向主溝である外側センター主溝と、内側センター主溝と、外側ショルダー主溝と、内側ショルダー主溝と、によりタイヤ幅方向に5本の陸部が区画形成されることで、タイヤ赤道面上のセンター陸部と、前記センター陸部の車両外側の外側ミドル陸部と、前記外側ミドル陸部の車両外側の外側ショルダー陸部と、前記センター陸部の車両内側の内側ミドル陸部と、前記内側ミドル陸部の車両内側の内側ショルダー陸部と、を有している。また、従来例、および実施例1~実施例15の空気入りタイヤは、内側センター主溝がジグザグ形状に形成されている。
 そして、従来例の空気入りタイヤは、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側のそれぞれの陸部の接地面が基準プロファイル上にある。一方、実施例1~実施例15の空気入りタイヤは、ジグザグ形状の周方向主溝を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側のそれぞれの陸部の接地面が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されている。
 図7の試験結果に示すように、実施例1~実施例15の空気入りタイヤは、乾燥路面での操縦安定性能および湿潤路面での操縦安定性能が改善されていることが分かる。

Claims (8)

  1.  トレッド部の接地面にタイヤ周方向に延びるジグザグ形状の周方向主溝と、
     前記周方向主溝を境として前記周方向主溝のタイヤ幅方向両側に区画形成されたそれぞれの陸部と、
     を有しており、
     各前記陸部のそれぞれの接地面が基準プロファイルに対してタイヤ径方向外側に突出して形成されている空気入りタイヤ。
  2.  各前記陸部は、それぞれの突出量Ha,Hbが、0.2mm≦Ha≦0.4mm、および0.2mm≦Hb≦0.4mmの範囲である請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
  3.  各前記陸部の突出量Ha,Hbが、0.9≦Ha/Hb≦1.1の関係を満たす請求項1または2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。

     を有し、
     前記周方向主溝は、ジグザグ形状のタイヤ周方向の屈曲数が、前記ラグ溝による前記ショルダー陸部のタイヤ周方向の区画数nに対し、n個またはn/2個の関係を満たす請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
  5.  前記周方向主溝は、タイヤ赤道面を中心とした接地幅の30%の範囲内に配置される請求項1~4のいずれか1つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
  6.  前記周方向主溝は、ジグザグ形状が溝開口端において接地面に開口する三角形状の面取部がタイヤ周方向に複数並んで形成されている請求項1~5のいずれか1つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
  7.  前記周方向主溝は、前記面取部のタイヤ幅方向寸法Wgが1.0mm≦Wg≦3.5mmの範囲であり、タイヤ径方向寸法Lgが1.0mm≦Lg≦3.0mmの範囲である請求項6に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
  8.  前記周方向主溝を境としたタイヤ幅方向両側の各前記陸部は、それぞれの陸部幅Wa,Wbが、0.8≦Wa/Wb≦1.5の関係を満たす請求項1~7のいずれか1つに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
