  • the smart key unit 20 can cause the engine 12 (driving source) of the motorcycle to be in a startable state under a condition that an ID code transmitted from a smart key K that can be carried by a driver matches a normal ID code, and is electrically connected to a determination module 18 and an ECU 19 attached to a predetermined position of the vehicle as illustrated in Fig.14.
  • the smart key can wirelessly (by radio waves) sends an ID code specific to the motorcycle, and the determination module 18 can receive the sent ID code and determine whether the sent ID code is a normal ID code. If the determination module 18 determines that the normal ID code is received, a control signal is transmitted to the smart key unit 20, and a lock for regulating an operation for starting the engine 12 is released. When the operation for starting the engine 12 is performed, the control signal is transmitted to the ECU 19 to start the engine 12.
  • the determination module 18 is assumed to be constituted of a microcomputer and the like arranged separately from the smart key unit 20. Alternatively, the determination module 18 may be formed inside the smart key unit 20, or may be formed inside the ECU 19.
  • the seat 8 can rock about a rocking shaft m formed at a front part of the seat 8, and is configured to be able to rock between a closed state (a state indicated by a solid line in Fig. 6) in which a driver can sit and an open state (a state indicated by a two-dot chain line in Fig. 6) in which the seat 8 is opened to expose, to the outside, a fuel inlet, a lid, and the like formed on a lower side of the seat 8.
  • a hook 2 is formed on a back surface on a rear side of the seat 8.
  • a seat opener 23 is attached at a position that corresponds to the hook 2 when the seat 8 is in the closed state.

  • the engaging member 23b is constituted of a member that can engage the hook 2 inserted into the recessed part 23 aa, and can be rotated between a locked state in which the hook 2 is engaged to lock the seat 8 in the closed state and an unlocked state in which an engagement of the hook 2 is released to unlock the seat 8.
  • the actuation member 23c is constituted of a member to which one end of operation wire W extended from an actuator 22 is connected, and can be movable between a first position at which the engaging member 23b is caused to be in a locked state and a second position at which the engaging member 23b is caused to be in an unlocked state via the operation wire W.
  • the actuation member 23c is always urged by the spring 23d in a direction of moving to a second state.
  • the seat 8 can be locked by engaging the hook 2 inserted into the recessed part 23aa with the engaging member 23b when the seat 8 is in the closed state, the actuation member 23c is actuated via the operation wire W when the actuator 22 is actuated, and the lock of the seat 8 can be released by moving the engaging member 23b from the first position to the second position.
  • the seat 8 can rock from the closed state to the open state when the lock thereof is released, and a fuel inlet, a lid, and the like formed on a lower side of the seat 8 can be opened to the outside in the open state.
  • the actuator 22 is configured such that a motor and the like are arranged inside the actuator 22, and the other end of the operation wire W is connected to the actuator 22.

That is, when a pressing operation is performed on the operation button 21a, a control signal is transmitted to the actuator 22 via the electric cable D to actuate the actuator 22, and the lock of the seat 8 can be released.
  • the operation switch 21 according to the present embodiment is electrically connected to the determination module 18, and is configured to be able to enable the pressing operation on the operation button 21 a only when the determination module 18 determines that the normal ID code is received.
  • the control signal is transmitted to the actuator 22 and the lock of the seat 8 can be released.
  • the control signal is not transmitted to the actuator 22 even when the pressing operation is performed on the operation button 21a, and the lock of the seat 8 is not released. Accordingly, the lock of the seat 8 can be prevented from being illicitly released by a third party, and crime prevention performance can be secured without arranging the operation button 21a on the smart key unit 20.
  • the operation switch 21 is arranged at a position overlapping with at least a part of the seat 8 in a vehicle longitudinal direction in a side view (a position where part of the operation switch 21 overlaps with a which is the area between the front and rear end of the seat 8), and the actuator 22 that is activated through an operation of the operation switch 21 to release the lock is arranged on the vehicle rear side of the seat 8 and on an upper part of the rear fender 7 (refer to Fig. 9) included in the vehicle. Further, the operation switch 21 is arranged to be overlapped with the seat 8 in a plan view (when viewed from an upper surface), and is hidden by the seat 8 when viewed from the upper surface as illustrated in Fig. 7.
  • the rear fender 7 according to the present embodiment is, for example, constituted of a component made of resin such as polypropylene (PP), and a boss-shaped attachment part 7a is formed integrally therewith as illustrated in Figs. 5 and 9.
  • the actuator 22 according to the present embodiment is fixed to the attachment part 7a to be supported by the rear fender 7.
  • the rear fender 7 according to the present embodiment is supported by a vehicle body frame including a longitudinal direction frame Fl extended in a vehicle longitudinal direction and a horizontal direction frame F2 extended in a vehicle width direction, and the actuator 22 is arranged at a position surrounded by the longitudinal direction frame Fl and the horizontal direction frame F2.

  • the operation switch 21 according to the present embodiment is arranged along an outer contour shape (line L) of the seat 8 on the vehicle rear side in a side view of the vehicle.
  • the operation switch 21 is arranged at a position overlapping at least a part of the seat 8 in a vehicle longitudinal direction in a side view, and the actuator 22 that is activated through the operation of the operation switch 21 to release the lock is arranged on the vehicle rear side of the seat 8 and on the upper part of the rear fender 7 included in the vehicle, so that a dimension between the operation switch 21 and the actuator 22 can be shorten, and the number of support members for arranging the electric cable D can be reduced.
