Abstract
Description
このような破泡性泡沫形成エアゾール組成物は、使用用途に応じた成分と共に、液化石油ガス、水、界面活性剤および乳化助剤などを含有し、液化石油ガス、界面活性剤および乳化助剤の種類や割合により、形成された泡沫が破泡音を伴って破泡する特性、すなわちクラッキング特性、および人体用に適用する場合における使用感などが大きく変化するものである。
このような二酸化炭素を含有するエアゾール組成物は、二酸化炭素による血行促進効果が期待されることから、育毛剤やマッサージング剤などとして好適に用いられている。
液化石油ガスと、水と、低級アルコールと、二酸化炭素と、乳化剤と、乳化助剤と、増粘剤とを含有してなり、
前記液化石油ガスの割合が45.0~73.0質量%、前記低級アルコールの割合が4.0~12.0質量%、前記二酸化炭素の割合が0.1~3.5質量%、前記乳化剤の割合が0.02~1.2質量%であり、
前記乳化剤が、HLBの値が異なる2種のノニオン系界面活性剤よりなり、当該2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比が1:10~10:1であることを特徴とする。
このような構成の本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物においては、前記第1のノニオン系界面活性剤がポリオキシエチレンヤシ油脂肪酸ソルビタンおよびモノラウリン酸ポリオキシエチレンソルビットよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、
前記第2のノニオン系界面活性剤がテトラオレイン酸ポリオキシエチレンソルビットおよびポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であることが好ましい。
従って、本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物においては、二酸化炭素を含有するにもかかわらず、当該二酸化炭素と液化石油ガスとの作用により、粘性を有する流動性吐出物において、十分なクラッキング特性が得られる。その結果、人体に適用する場合において、良好な使用感を得ることができる。
また、本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物においては、液化石油ガスおよび二酸化炭素が噴射剤として気相を構成するだけでなく、液化石油ガスの一部および二酸化炭素の一部が、水、増粘剤、乳化剤および乳化助剤を含有する原液と共に液相を構成する。そして、吐出物において、液化石油ガスおよび二酸化炭素の作用によって破泡音が生じるものである。具体的に説明すると、本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物は、粘性を有する流動性吐出物を形成するものであり、その流動性吐出物において、二酸化炭素と液化石油ガスとが気化することにより、徐々に発泡し、その発泡によって形成された泡沫が自発的に破泡することに伴って破泡音が生じるものである。すなわち、クラッキング特性(形成された泡沫が破泡音を伴って破泡する特性)を有するものである。
具体的には、例えば、液化石油ガスの割合が比較的大きい場合には、乳化剤の割合が比較的大きいことが好ましく、また低級アルコールの割合が比較的小さいことが好ましい。また、このような場合においては、乳化助剤の割合が大きいことが好ましい。
低級アルコールの割合が比較的大きい場合には、乳化剤の割合が比較的大きいことが好ましい。また、このような場合においては、増粘剤の割合が大きいことが好ましい。また、低級アルコールの割合は、乳化助剤の割合が大きい場合には、比較的大きいことが好ましい。

必須成分である水としては、精製水が用いられる。
必須成分である低級アルコールは、液化石油ガスの溶媒として機能するものである。特に、クラッキングエアゾール組成物を人体に適用した場合においては、適用箇所における清涼作用および非残留感作用を発現させるものである。
これらのうちでは、液化石油ガスの溶解性およびクラッキング特性が確実に得られることから、エタノールが好ましい。また、低級アルコールとしてエタノールを用いることによれば、クラッキングエアゾール組成物を人体用として用いる場合において、清涼性および非残留感性などの観点から良好な使用感が得られる。
一方、低級アルコールの割合が過小である場合には、低級アルコールによる十分な氷点降下作用が得られなくなることに起因して粘性を有する流動性吐出物を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。具体的に説明すると、吐出物において水が凍結することに起因して当該吐出物がシャーベット状になるおそれがある。また、液化石油ガスを、原液(具体的には、原液を構成する低級アルコール)に十分に溶解することができず、それに起因して良好な乳化状態を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。特に、人体用として皮膚表面に適用した際には適用箇所においてベタツキ感が生じることに起因して良好な使用感が得られなくなるおそれがある。
必須成分である乳化剤は、油性相よりなる分散粒子を、水性相よりなる分散媒中に分散させる作用を有するものである。
この乳化剤において、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比は、1:10~10:1であることが好ましく、さらに好ましくは1:5~5:1である。
而して、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤のHLBの値と第2のノニオン系界面活性剤のHLBの値との差が過大である場合および過小である場合には、いずれの場合においても、良好な乳化状態および乳化安定性が得られなくなるおそれがある。
具体的には、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレン(20)ヤシ油脂肪酸ソルビタンを用い、第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてテトラオレイン酸ポリオキシエチレン(60)ソルビットを用いること、または、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてモノラウリン酸ポリオキシエチレン(6)ソルビットを用い、第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてポリオキシエチレン(40)硬化ヒマシ油を用いることが好ましい。
一方、乳化剤の割合が過小である場合には、組成物(原液)において乳化状態を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。
必須成分である乳化助剤は、粉末よりなり、液相中に分散した状態で存在し、油性相よりなる分散粒子を、水性相よりなる分散媒中に分散させやすくする作用、および分散状態の安定性、すなわち乳化安定性を向上させる作用を有するものである。
この乳化助剤を構成する粉末の材質としては、例えばシリカ、タルク、アルミナ、ゼオライト、ポリアミド(ナイロン)などが挙げられる。
本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物における乳化助剤を構成する粉末としては、シリカが好ましい。
乳化助剤を構成する微粒子の平均粒径が過大である場合には、特に人体用として皮膚表面に適用した際には適用箇所においてざらつき感が生じるおそれがある。
一方、乳化助剤を構成する微粒子の平均粒径が過小である場合には、特に人体用として皮膚表面に適用した際には人体に対して悪影響を及ぼすおそれがある。
一方、乳化助剤の割合が過小である場合には、乳化容易性が得られなくなるおそれがある。具体的には、クラッキングエアゾール組成物において良好な乳化状態を得るために長時間にわたる振盪が必要となるおそれがある。
必須成分である増粘剤は、主として吐出物の粘性を調整し、流動性吐出物中において徐々に生じる発泡によって形成される泡沫が自発的に破泡する際に生じるパチパチ音の大きさを調整する作用を有し、また吐出物の適用箇所に対する付着性を向上させる作用を有するものである。また、増粘剤は、クラッキングエアゾール組成物(原液)の粘性を調整することによって、水性相よりなる分散媒中に、油性相よりなる分散粒子を分散させやすくする作用を有するものである。
増粘剤を構成するセルロース系高分子としては、例えばヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、ニトロセルロースおよび結晶セルロースなどが挙げられる。
増粘剤を構成するガム質としては、例えばキサンタンガム、カラギーナン、アラビアゴム、トラガントゴム、カチオン化グアガム、グアガム、ジュランガムおよびローカストビーンガムなどが挙げられる。
本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物における増粘剤としては、1種の水溶性高分子を単独で用いることもでき、また、2種以上の水溶性高分子を組み合わせて用いることもできる。
一方、増粘剤の割合が過小である場合には、クラッキングエアゾール組成物(原液)の粘度が過小となり、それに起因して、クラッキングエアゾール組成物において良好な乳化状態を得ることができなくなり、吐出物においてクラッキング特性を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。
必須成分である液化石油ガスは、一部が低級アルコールに溶解されることによって液相を構成していると共に、他の一部によって、二酸化炭素(具体的には、二酸化炭素の一部)と共に噴射剤として気相を形成している。
一方、液化石油ガスの割合が過小である場合には、吐出物が泡沫状となってクラッキング特性が得られなくなるおそれがある。
必須成分である二酸化炭素は、水に対する溶解性を有するものであることから、一部が、増粘剤によって粘性が付与された水に溶解されることによって液相を構成していると共に、他の一部によって、液化石油ガス(具体的には、液化石油ガスの一部)と共に噴射剤として気相を形成している。
製品内圧が過大である場合には、噴射剤(具体的には、液化石油ガスおよび二酸化炭素)の充填圧力が過剰に大きくなることに起因して十分な安全性を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。
而して、エアゾール容器の温度35℃における製品内圧が0.3~0.7MPaであることによれば、エアゾール製品に必要とされる十分な安全性が得られると共に、吐出物に十分なクラッキング特性を得ることができる。
本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物には、必須成分(具体的には、水、低級アルコール、乳化剤、乳化助剤、増粘剤、液化石油ガスおよび二酸化炭素)の他、必要に応じて任意成分が含有されていてもよい。その具体例としては、例えば保湿剤、殺菌・防腐剤、皮膚保護剤(アミノ酸)、ビタミン類、各種抽出液、消臭・防臭剤、清涼剤、およびその他が挙げられる。
任意成分を構成する保湿剤としては、例えばプロピレングリコール、グリセリン、1,3-ブチレングリコール、コラーゲン、キシリトール、ソルビトール、ヒアルロン酸、乳酸ナトリウム、ケラチン、カゼイン、レシチンおよび尿素などが挙げられる。
任意成分を構成する殺菌・防腐剤としては、例えばパラオキシ安息香酸エステル、安息香酸ナトリウム、フェノキシエタノール、塩化ベンザルコニウム、塩化ベンゼトニウム、クロルヘキシジンおよび塩化クロルヘキシンなどが挙げられる。
任意成分を構成する皮膚保護剤(アミノ酸)としては、例えばグリシン、アラニン、ステロイシン、ロイシン、セリン、トリフトファン、シスチン、メチオニン、アスパラギン酸、グルタミン酸およびアルギニンなどが挙げられる。
任意成分を構成するビタミン類としては、例えばレチノール、パルミチン酸レチノール、塩酸ピリドキシン、ニコチントコフェノール、ビタミンD2 、パントテン酸およびビオチンなどが挙げられる。
任意成分を構成する各種抽出液としては、例えばシャクヤクエキス、ヘチマエキス、バラエキス、レモンエキス、アロエエキス、ショウブ根エキス、ユーカリエキス、セージエキス、茶エキス、海藻エキス、プラセンタエキスおよびシルク抽出液などが挙げられる。
任意成分を構成する消臭・防臭剤としては、例えばラウリルメタクリレート、ゲラニルクロトレート、ミリスチン酸アセトフェノン、酢酸ベンジル、プロピオン酸ベンジル、安息香酸メチルおよびフェニル酢酸メチルなどが挙げられる。
任意成分を構成する清涼剤としては、例えばl-メントールおよびd-カンフルなどが挙げられる。
一方、原液の粘度が過小である場合には、良好な乳化状態が得られず、また十分なクラッキング特性を得ることができなくなるおそれがある。
従って、本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物においては、二酸化炭素を含有するにもかかわらず、当該二酸化炭素と液化石油ガスとの作用により、粘性を有する流動性吐出物において、十分なクラッキング特性が得られる。
また、本発明のクラッキングエアゾール組成物においては、特に人体に適用する場合には、クラッキング特性によって爽快感が得られるため、良好な使用感が得られる。
ここに、二酸化炭素を含有するクラッキングエアゾール組成物において、乳化剤としてHLBの値が異なる2種のノニオン系界面活性剤を特定の質量比で用いると共に、低級アルコール、乳化剤、液化石油ガスおよび二酸化炭素を特定の割合で用いることにより上記の効果が得られることは、発明者らが実験を重ねた結果によって明らかとなった事項である。
具体的には、育毛剤、マッサージング剤、ヘアスタイリング剤、ヘアトリートメント剤、シャンプー剤、コンディショナー剤などとして用いることができる。
先ず、表1および表2に示す組成物材料を用意し、液化石油ガスおよび二酸化炭素以外の組成物材料を当該表1および表2に示す割合で混合することにより、原液を調製した。
次いで、得られた原液と、液化石油ガス(0.15MPa)および二酸化炭素とを、表1および表2に示す割合でエアゾール用バルブを備えたガラス製の透明耐圧容器よりなるエアゾール容器内に、内容物の質量が40gとなるように充填し、評価用エアゾール製品を作製した。
得られた複数の評価用エアゾール製品においては、温度35℃における製品内圧が0.3~0.7MPaの範囲内であった。
得られた実施例2、実施例4、実施例9、実施例11および実施例12に係る評価用エアゾール製品において、各々、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比(ノニオン系界面活性剤(1):ノニオン系界面活性剤(3))は1:1であり、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(1)と第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(3)とのHLBの値の差は2.9である。
得られた実施例3に係る評価用エアゾール製品において、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比(ノニオン系界面活性剤(1):ノニオン系界面活性剤(3))は5:1であり、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(1)と第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(3)とのHLBの値の差は2.9である。
得られた実施例5に係る評価用エアゾール製品において、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比(ノニオン系界面活性剤(1):ノニオン系界面活性剤(3))は1:5であり、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(1)と第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(3)とのHLBの値の差は2.9である。
得られた実施例6および実施例8に係る評価用エアゾール製品において、各々、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比(ノニオン系界面活性剤(1):ノニオン系界面活性剤(3))は2:1であり、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(1)と第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(3)とのHLBの値の差は2.9である。
得られた実施例7に係る評価用エアゾール製品において、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比(ノニオン系界面活性剤(2):ノニオン系界面活性剤(4))は2:1であり、第1のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(2)と第2のノニオン系界面活性剤としてのノニオン系界面活性剤(4)とのHLBの値の差は3.0である。
得られた実施例10に係る評価用エアゾール製品において、2種のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比(ノニオン系界面活性剤(1):ノニオン系界面活性剤(5))は1:1であり、ノニオン系界面活性剤(1)とノニオン系界面活性剤(5)とのHLBの値の差は8.3である。
得られた評価用エアゾール製品を室温(25℃)の温度条件(以下、「室温条件」ともいう。)下において、エマルション形成性(乳化容易性)を評価した。具体的には、人手による1回の振盪ごとにエアゾール容器内を目視にて観察してエマルションの形成の有無を確認する操作(以下、「エマルション形成確認操作」ともいう。)を繰り返すことによって、エマルションが形成されるまでに要する振盪回数を確認した。
得られた評価用エアゾール製品を室温条件下において振盪してエマルションを形成した後、室温条件下に1日静置した。その後、室温条件下において、エマルション形成確認操作を繰り返すことによって、エマルションが形成されるまでに要する振盪回数を確認することにより、エマルション再形成性(乳化安定性)を評価した。
得られた評価用エアゾール製品を室温条件下において、人手によって30秒間にわたって振盪した後、内容物1gを吐出させ、形成される吐出物の性状を確認し、吐出物が、当該吐出物中において徐々に発泡が生じ、その発泡によって形成された泡沫のすべてがパチパチと音をたてて自発的に破泡するものである場合を極めて良好なクラッキング特性があるとして「A」、吐出物が、当該吐出物中において徐々に発泡が生じ、その発泡によって形成された泡沫の一部がパチパチと音をたてて自発的に破泡するものの、他の一部が破泡しないものである場合をクラッキング特性が得られるとして「B」、吐出物が泡沫状(非クラッキングフォーム状)である場合を発泡が生じるもののクラッキング特性がないとして「C」、吐出物がシャーベット状である場合をクラッキング特性がないとして「D」、
吐出物が泡沫状にもシャーベット状にもならず、液状である場合をクラッキング特性がないとして「E」と評価する評価基準によって破泡性(クラッキング特性)を評価した。
また、実施例1~実施例12に係るエアゾール組成物を皮膚上に適用したところ、適用箇所にベタツキ感がないことから、良好な使用感が得られることが確認された。
Claims (4)
- エアゾール用バルブを備えた耐圧容器よりなるエアゾール容器内に充填されるクラッキングエアゾール組成物であって、
液化石油ガスと、水と、低級アルコールと、二酸化炭素と、乳化剤と、乳化助剤と、増粘剤とを含有してなり、
前記液化石油ガスの割合が45.0~73.0質量%、前記低級アルコールの割合が4.0~12.0質量%、前記二酸化炭素の割合が0.1~3.5質量%、前記乳化剤の割合が0.02~1.2質量%であり、
前記乳化剤が、HLBの値が異なる2種のノニオン系界面活性剤よりなり、当該2種類のノニオン系界面活性剤の質量比が1:10~10:1であることを特徴とするクラッキングエアゾール組成物。 - 前記乳化剤を構成する2種のノニオン系界面活性剤が、HLBの値が15.0~18.0である第1のノニオン系界面活性剤と、HLBの値が10.0~15.0である第2のノニオン系界面活性剤とよりなり、当該第1のノニオン系界面活性剤および当該第2のノニオン系界面活性剤のHLBの値の差が1.0~5.0であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のクラッキングエアゾール組成物。
- 前記第1のノニオン系界面活性剤がポリオキシエチレンヤシ油脂肪酸ソルビタンおよびモノラウリン酸ポリオキシエチレンソルビットよりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であり、
前記第2のノニオン系界面活性剤がテトラオレイン酸ポリオキシエチレンソルビットおよびポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油よりなる群から選ばれる少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のクラッキングエアゾール組成物。 - 前記水と、前記低級アルコールと、前記乳化剤と、前記乳化助剤と、前記増粘剤とを含有する原液の、温度20℃における粘度が、50~1000mPa・sであることを特徴とする請求項1~請求項3のいずれかに記載のクラッキングエアゾール組成物。
