Definitions
- the present invention relates to a chair that can be suitably applied in an office or the like.
- Patent Document 1 Conventionally, many chairs have been devised for the purpose of maintaining a comfortable sitting posture for a long time in an office or home (see, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2).
- These chairs are constructed so that the seat and back can be tilted according to the occupant's mainly backward and forward tilting movements so that the occupants can feel comfortable when working. Or the seat and the backrest can be fixed at a position where the required posture of the seated person can be realized.
- the present chair is required to have a function capable of suitably supporting the above-described behavior of the seated person.
- the chairs described in Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 2 are provided on the cam surface provided on one of the leg side and the seat side and on the other side in order to guide the movement of the seated person in a required posture.
- a cam follower having a rolling member such as a roller, a configuration in which a seated person can easily move the seat back and forth is realized.
- the present invention aims to solve the above-described problems, and can provide a near-optimal support corresponding to the movement of the seated person while maintaining high durability while having a simple configuration.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a chair capable of obtaining a comfortable seating feeling even if a person is sitting for a long time, and thus stably maintaining high work efficiency.
- the chair according to the present invention includes a leg standing from a floor surface, a seat provided above the leg, and a support mechanism interposed between the leg and the seat, and the support mechanism. Is provided on either the supported part side supported directly or indirectly by the leg or the supporting part side that directly or indirectly supports the seat, and the vertical surface of the supporting part side or the supported part side.
- a corrugated plate having a chevron surface that extends in a horizontal direction and is curved convexly upward or downward, and the chevron surface provided on either the support part side or the supported part side And a follower that is in contact with each other,
- the corrugated plate and the follower are associated with each other such that when the seat is moved from a neutral position by the relative movement of the chevron surface and the follower, the operating tip side is inclined downward.
- the seat In order to make the movement of the seat stable and smooth through the relative movement of the chevron surface and the follower, in addition to the support mechanism, the seat is moved in a direction intersecting the relative motion direction of the chevron surface and the follower. It is desirable to have a support mechanism. With such a configuration, a structure in which the seat is moved in the intersecting direction through the second support mechanism can be effectively employed without reducing stability, and various movements can be realized in the seat.
- the chevron surface is moved along the direction intersecting the relative motion direction with the follower.
- the follower is provided so as to straddle the center line in the front-rear direction or the left-right direction, and the follower is disposed on both sides of the center line so as to contact the chevron.
- the front and rear direction of the seat or the direction along which the chevron intersects the relative operation direction with the follower or The follower extends from one end along the direction perpendicular to the guide direction of the chevron and reaches the other end, and extends from the one end. It is desirable to have a configuration that can contact the chevron surface across the other end.
- the seat In order to make the movement of the seat stable and smooth through the relative movement of the chevron and the follower, the seat is supported so as to be able to operate independently in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction, and at least one of the movements is performed. It is preferable that the supporting mechanism that supports the structure includes the corrugated plate and the follower. This makes it extremely suitable as a guide for one operation, particularly when the seat operates independently in two orthogonal directions.
- the support mechanism raises the center of gravity of the seat in accordance with the operation from the neutral position of the seat when a person is not seated. be able to. In this way, the seat is tilted downward in the swinging direction, and the height of the central portion is raised, so that a chair with a seating feeling that is not conventional is realized.
- the return force in the return direction increases as it moves, the return mechanism to the neutral position can be appropriately realized without employing a complicated structure.
- the chevron surface is in contact with the chevron surface of the corrugated sheet from the back surface side of the surface where the follower contacts. It is desirable to provide a retaining element capable of prohibiting separation from the follower.
- the chevron surface and the follower are basically simply superposed in the vertical direction, so the chevron surface and the follower are not restrained as they are, and they will come off when the chair is lifted. By being configured in this way, it is possible to reliably separate and integrate.
- the retaining element is a retaining follower that contacts the back surface.
- the present invention has the above-described configuration, it is possible to stably realize a function of obtaining a comfortable seating feeling even when a seated person is seated for a long time while having a simple structure, and thus high work efficiency. It is possible to provide a chair that can be stably maintained.
