Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an absorbent article that absorbs urine and feces.
  • an absorbent article in which an opening (liquid guide recess) for drawing excrement is provided in the top sheet (see, for example, Patent Document 1).
  • the top sheet of Patent Document 1 is formed with a plurality of protrusions protruding to the skin facing surface side and openings that are disposed between the protrusions and penetrate in the thickness direction of the top sheet.
  • the protrusions and openings of the top sheet of Patent Document 1 are regularly arranged in the same arrangement over the entire top sheet with a certain interval in the front-rear direction and the width direction. Therefore, a wearing assistant such as a mother may recognize the convex portion and the opening like a pattern and cannot recognize the presence of the opening for drawing excrement. The wearing assistant cannot grasp the body sheet retractability of the top sheet and sometimes cannot use the absorbent article with peace of mind. As a result of various investigations by the applicant, it was found that the wearing assistant can easily obtain a sense of security during use by being able to grasp the retractability of the area where feces are discharged.
