Les utilisateurs d'articles pyrotechniques éprouvent fréquemment le besoin de déterminer l'assemblage et éventuellement aussi l'ordre d'allumage des éléments de feux d'artifice (10). Avec les articles pyrotechniques à agencement et ordres d'allumage des éléments de feux d'artifice (10) déterminés lors de la fabrication, ce n'est pas possible. Les articles pyrotechniques selon l'invention sont solidarisés à un élément de feu d'artifice (10) ou également à plusieurs éléments de feux d'artifice (10) par une connexion d'accouplement composée d'une fiche de connexion (14) et d'un manchon de connexion (15). La fiche de connexion (14) emboîtée dans chaque cas dans un manchon de connexion (15) sert simultanément à établir un allumage croisé entre le dernier élément de feu d'artifice (10) d'un premier article pyrotechnique et un premier élément de feu d'artifice (10) de l'article pyrotechnique suivant, accouplé au premier article pyrotechnique. Plusieurs éléments de feux d'artifice dotés de fiches de connexion (36) et de manchons de connexion (37) peuvent ainsi être accouplés individuellement par l'utilisateur. Ce qui permet de réaliser un feu d'artifice agencé de manière individuelle.
