It can be classified into two types of “derivative cards” that are generated by the relationship. Hereinafter, the details of the basic card and the derived card will be described. *
- a basic card is selected when a character that appears in the game, except for a character that appears through registration based on information acquisition, is selected as the card generation target (cardification target). It is a card that is generated.
- the character parameter 403 and the costume parameter 405 of the card information attached to the basic card basic parameters managed by the character DB 106 or the costume DB 107 are assigned to the corresponding character or costume, respectively.
- the game device 100 of the present embodiment has a card as compared to a user who does not own the card in that the card can be surely entered in the game if the card corresponding to the character is used. Giving the user an advantage.
- the differentiation based on the presence of the card does not have to be limited to this, and the parameters attached to the basic cards are changed to a state that allows the game to proceed more advantageously than the basic parameters, or not based on the cards
- a difference in character ability may be provided, such as changing a parameter of a character appearing in the game to a state in which the game progresses more disadvantageously than the basic parameter.
- a derived card is a card that is generated when a character that appears through registration based on acquisition of information from the card is selected as a card formation target among characters that appear in the game.
- the card (basic card) used for registration corresponds to the “card that is the basis for generation” for the derived card.
- the derivative card is a card generated based on the character that appears by using the basic card, and thus is a card generated based on the basic card.
- the derived card is generated by performing at least a game play related to the generation of a related basic card and another game play using the basic card, the user who owns the card is a game It will be a repeater. Therefore, in order to improve the interest of such a user, at least one of the character parameter 403 or the costume parameter 405 of the card information attached to the derived card is a parameter in a state that enables the game progress more advantageous than the basic parameter. It is said. *
- the card information attached to the derived card is different from the card information attached to the basic card.
- the basic information 431 to be shown is included.
- the basic information 431 may be configured by information that can identify the card that is the basis, such as the card ID of the basic card, or simply indicates that it is a derivative card, or a card that is the basis It may be logical type information indicating the existence of. Further, in order to let the user know that it is impossible to generate a derivative card even if it is used in a game, the derivative card may be configured so that it can be visually recognized as a derivative card as an appearance feature.
- Such an appearance feature may be one that informs that it is impossible to generate a derived card directly, for example in the form of a cautionary note, or by attaching a predetermined design, Alternatively, it may be informed indirectly by information such as a grade (class) expressed on the card. Alternatively, it may be configured such that a part of the code 203 can be discriminated.
- Game Process A specific process of the game process executed by the game apparatus 100 of the present embodiment having such a configuration will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
- the processing corresponding to the flowchart can be realized by the control unit 101 reading, for example, a corresponding processing program stored in the recording medium 102, developing it in the memory 103, and executing it.
- This game process will be described as being started when, for example, the payment detection unit 104 detects that the payment of the value has been made. *
- the control unit 101 starts an appearance character determination sequence for determining a character to appear in one game play based on payment of consideration.
- the user can make one character appear in the game for each game play.
- the registration of the character may be performed by acquiring card information from the card, or may be performed based on the card information when the user does not have the card, for example. Good. *
- step S302 the control unit 101 determines whether information has been acquired from the card. When it is determined that the card information has been acquired, the control unit 101 moves the process to S303, and when it is determined that the card information has not been acquired, the process of this step is repeated. As described above, the appearance character registration may be performed without being based on the card information, and the process of this step is terminated when, for example, it is detected that an operation input related to the registration end by the user is made. It's okay. In this case, the control unit 101 performs, for example, a lottery process to determine a character ID related to one character, obtains character information related to the character ID from the character DB 106, and information on one character to appear (appearing character information) ) In the memory 103.
- a lottery process to determine a character ID related to one character
- control unit 101 specifies the costume ID related to the default costume of the character based on the reference appearance information 413 of the character information, acquires the costume information related to the costume ID from the costume DB 107, and adds it to the appearance character information. . That is, the appearance character information is composed of character information and costume information.
- step S ⁇ b> 303 the control unit 101 stores appearance character information in the memory 103 based on the acquired card information. Specifically, the control unit 101 first acquires the character information related to the character ID 402 of the card information from the character DB 106, changes the unique parameter 412 of these based on the character parameter 403 of the card information, and registers the registered character information. Store as. In addition, the control unit 101 acquires costume information related to the costume ID (default) specified based on the stored standard appearance information 413 of the character information from the costume DB 107 and adds it to the appearance character information.
- control unit 101 obtains the costume information related to the costume ID 404 in the card information from the costume DB 107, changes the unique parameter 422 based on the costume parameter 405, and then adds the costume information added to the appearance character information. Of these, it is added to the appearance character information in the form of replacement with the costume information of the corresponding part.
- control unit 101 also adds a card ID 401 to the appearance character information to indicate that the appearance character information is a character registered based on the card.
- the control unit 101 also adds the basic information 431 to the appearance character information.
- the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to this, and it is needless to say that after a single character is determined, a costume can be set for each part of the character using a plurality of cards. . *
- the control unit 101 determines other characters to appear in the game and stores other appearance character information.
- the character may be, for example, a battle character or a cooperation character of a predetermined game provided in a game sequence, a main character that appears in accordance with a selected scenario, and the number is not particularly limited.
- the character is included in a candidate for card formation in a card generation sequence described later. *
- the control unit 101 starts a game sequence for executing a predetermined game related to game play in S305.
- the game sequence is to execute a predetermined game based on the stored appearance character information, and a game experience related to a game in which the character related to the appearance character information appears is provided to the user.
- the progress of the game may be controlled based on various parameters of the character and costume stored in the appearance character information, and may be controlled in consideration of operation input made by other users.
- the control unit 101 determines whether the game sequence has reached a card generation sequence. As described above, in the game content according to the game apparatus 100 of the present embodiment, when a part of the game related to one game play is completed, the user acquires a card related to the game play. Can do. Here, the fact that a card can be acquired when a part of the game is completed is based on the consideration of the possibility of using the card acquired during the game play during the game play. This does not exclude a mode in which the card can be acquired at the time when the game is finished. When it is determined that the game sequence has reached the card generation sequence, the control unit 101 moves the process to S307, and when it is determined that the game sequence has not reached, the process of this step is repeated. *
- step S ⁇ b> 307 the control unit 101 presents a candidate for cardification as a game screen to the user based on the stored character information, and accepts selection of a cardification target.
- a candidate for cardification as a game screen to the user based on the stored character information, and accepts selection of a cardification target.
- characters corresponding to each of the stored character information are included in the candidates for card formation.
- the control unit 101 waits for processing in this step until accepting selection of a cardification target, and moves on to S308 when accepting selection.
- step S308 the control unit 101 determines whether the selected card conversion target is a character registered based on the card. For example, the control unit 101 may determine this step based on whether or not the card ID is included in the appearance character information corresponding to the selected cardification target. If the control unit 101 determines that the selected card conversion target is a character registered based on the card, the process proceeds to S309. If the control unit 101 determines that the selected card conversion target is not a character registered based on the card, the process proceeds to S312. Transfer. *
- step S309 the control unit 101 determines whether registration of the character to be carded has been performed based on the derived card. For example, the control unit 101 may perform the determination of this step depending on whether or not basic information is included in the appearance character information corresponding to the selected cardification target. If the control unit 101 determines that the registration of the character to be carded is performed based on the derived card, the process proceeds to S310. If the control unit 101 determines that the registration is performed based on the basic card, the process proceeds to S311. *
- the display control unit 108 under the control of the control unit 101, the display control unit 108 generates a screen for notifying that the character cannot be selected as a card object because it is a character based on a derived card, displays the screen on the display unit 130, and the process proceeds to S307. return.
- a character based on a derived card is displayed as a candidate for cardification, and when it is selected as a cardification target, it is notified that it cannot be selected.
- the method for restricting the generation of further derived cards is not limited to this. For example, it may be accompanied by a display indicating that selection is not possible when displayed as a candidate for cardification, or may be configured so that selection is not possible when displayed as a candidate for cardification. May be. Alternatively, the generation of further derived cards may be limited by excluding the card candidate and not being displayed in the first place. *
- the control unit 101 configures card information of a newly generated card in S311.
- the configuration of the card information may be performed based on the appearance character information corresponding to the character to be carded. Since the card information configured in this step relates to the derived card, the control unit 101 changes at least one of the character parameter and the costume parameter included in the corresponding appearance character information to a state in which the game is advantageously advanced. And shall be included in this.
- the derived card corresponds to the same character and costume combination as the basic card that is the basis, and only the parameters are described as different, but for example, the usefulness in the game is set higher.
- the control unit 101 associates the character ID, the costume ID, the changed character parameter and the costume parameter included in the corresponding appearance character information with the card ID, and derives the card ID.
- Configure card information for a card Since it is a derivative card, the card information includes basic information.
- the control unit 101 configures card information of a newly generated card in S312. Since the card information configured in this step relates to the basic card, the character ID and the character parameter may be based on the appearance character information, but the costume needs to be determined by, for example, a lottery process in this step. is there. For example, after acquiring the card ID of the card to be generated, the control unit 101 includes the character ID included in the corresponding character information, the character parameter (basic parameter), the costume ID determined by the lottery process, and the costume parameter corresponding thereto. Is associated with the card ID to form card information for a basic card. Since it is a basic card, the card information does not include basic information. *
- step S313 the control unit 101 transmits the configured card information to the print control unit 109, and generates and discharges a card with a corresponding character image and costume image.
- control unit 101 determines whether or not the game sequence ends.
- the control unit 101 completes the game process when it is determined that the game sequence is finished, and repeats the process of this step when it is determined that the game sequence is not finished yet.
- a card design as shown in FIG. It is configured to allow different cards (special cards) to be discharged.
- the special card does not have a costume image, and may be constituted by an image 211 mainly composed of characters.
- the user's desire to collect can be satisfied from the high degree of design and the rarity related to the limited discharge conditions (a derivative card of a specific character is generated and the play content satisfies the conditions).
- the special card has a code 212 as shown in FIG. 2B so that it can be used in the game apparatus 100, but the associated character parameter or item parameter does not cause the game balance to collapse. It is assumed that the game is the same as the derived card used as the basis, or the game proceeds more disadvantageously than the derived card. *
- Embodiment 2 In Embodiment 1 and Modification 1 described above, it has been described as restricting the generation of further derived cards that enable advantageous progress of the game. From the point of view, the interest of the user can be reduced. In the present embodiment, an aspect in which generation of a derived card is preferably limited while allowing generation of a further derived card based on the derived card will be described. *
- the game apparatus 100 by setting an upper limit on the number of derived cards to be generated, the game balance due to the use of such derived cards is reduced.
- the limit on the number of derived cards generated may be, for example, the number of derived cards generated based on the card per card. Further, for example, the number of generated cards may be limited as to how many times the derived card is generated from the first basic card (number of times of derivation).
- the total number of cards generated by derivation in connection with this (for example, the basic card is the parent card, the derivation generated in one derivation from the basic card)
- the card is a child card and the derived card generated by one derivation from the child card is a grandchild card ...
- the total number of generated cards per parent, child, grandchild ... It is possible to limit this.
- the control unit 101 determines that the user information included in the two is identical and the number of generated cards related to the derivative card has reached the upper limit and the generation of further derivative cards is not prohibited. Move to. Whether or not the number of generated cards has reached the upper limit may be determined by configuring the basic information of the card information so as to include information on the number of derivations. Also, for example, for a basic card or a basic card, information on the total number of derived cards of a predetermined condition related to the card is managed in an external server or the like in association with the card ID of the card. Based on the card ID that identifies the basic card or the like included in the information, the control unit 101 may acquire information on the total number of derived cards via a communication unit (not shown) and make a determination. *
- the limit on the number of generated sheets may be configured so as to be variable according to the utility in the game, which is determined for a character, a costume, or the like.
- the total number of derivative cards that can be generated is limited to 3 or the like, while a character that is determined to be low useful in the game can be generated.
- the total number of derived cards may be 30 or the like. This is because if the usefulness in the game is low, even if a derivative card is generated, it is considered that the influence on the game balance is small.
- the limitation on the generation of a derived card has been described as being determined based on the number of derived cards generated so far. For example, after a related derived card is first generated, It may be configured to determine whether or not a derivative card can be generated based on the elapsed time.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and various changes and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
- the game device according to the present invention can also be realized by a program that causes one or more computers to function as the game device.
- the program can be provided / distributed by being recorded on a computer-readable recording medium or through a telecommunication line.

Abstract
