Definitions
- the present invention relates to a solar cell module recycling method, and more specifically, a sealing layer that seals solar cells, a light-receiving surface layer that is attached to the sealing layer so as to face each other, and a back sheet. And a method for recycling a solar cell module.
- Patent Document 1 Various methods for recycling solar cell modules have been developed (for example, Patent Document 1).
- the back sheet of the solar cell module is mechanically removed by an NC router grinding machine, and subsequently, a grid-like slit is formed on the surface of the sealing layer using the same NC router grinding machine. Put in. Thereafter, the solar cell module is immersed in a stripping solution, so that the stripping solution is infiltrated into the sealing layer through a slit formed on the surface, and the sealing layer is swollen. By this swelling action, the sealing layer is removed from the light receiving surface layer.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a method for recycling a solar cell module that can shorten the time taken to remove the sealing layer and improve the overall efficiency.
- the present invention is configured as follows.
- a solar cell formed by laminating a sealing layer that seals solar cells, a light-receiving surface layer disposed on one surface of the sealing layer, and the other surface, and a back sheet.
- a method for recycling a solar cell module comprising: a third removing step of removing the sealing layer attached to the light receiving surface layer from the light receiving surface layer by immersing the sealing layer in a solution that swells the sealing layer.
- the solar cell module recycling method of the present invention can shorten the time taken to remove the sealing layer and improve the overall efficiency.
- Sectional drawing of the solar cell module concerning embodiment Flowchart of a solar cell module recycling method according to an embodiment Sectional drawing for demonstrating the recycling method performed along the flowchart of FIG.
- the figure which shows the apparatus example used for the immersion to stripping solution in step S5 The figure which shows the example of an apparatus used for grinding in step S5
- the figure which shows the example of an apparatus used by step S6 The figure which shows the example of an apparatus used by step S7
- 1st aspect of this invention is a solar cell module formed by laminating
- the sealing layer adhering to the light receiving surface layer is immersed in a solution and then removed by grinding. To do.
- the third removal step grinding is performed using a brush.
- the solar battery cell and the sealing layer removed by the second removal step are pulverized.
- an alkaline hydrocarbon solvent is added to the solar cell and the sealing layer to perform pulverization.
- the solution used in the separation step has a specific gravity change rate with a rise in temperature. Is less than the rate of change.
- the second removal step is the solar battery cell from the side from which the backsheet is removed.
- the sealing layer is mechanically removed to a depth that does not reach, and the sealing layer including the remaining solar cells is mechanically removed.
- the solution for swelling the sealing layer is A neutral release agent containing a water-soluble hydrocarbon solvent.
- the sealing layer is formed of an ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer.
- the solar cell module 2 converts light energy from sunlight into electric energy.
- the solar cell module 2 is installed, for example, on the rooftop of a building as a solar panel.
- the solar cell module 2 according to this embodiment includes a plurality of solar cells 4, a plurality of metal wirings 5, a sealing layer 6, a light receiving surface layer 8, a back sheet 10, A current collection box 12 and a frame 14 are provided.
- the solar battery cell 4 is an element for converting light energy from sunlight into electric energy.
- the solar battery cell 4 is made of silicon, for example.
- the metal wiring 5 is a metal wiring that connects terminals (not shown) of the solar cells 4.
- the metal wiring 5 connects the plurality of solar battery cells 4 to each other and is connected to a current collection box 12 described later.
- the electric energy generated in the solar battery cell 4 is supplied to the current collection box 12 through the metal wiring 5.
- the sealing layer 6 is a member that seals and protects the solar battery cell 4 and the metal wiring 5.
- the sealing layer 6 is formed of a translucent material that can transmit sunlight, and the material is, for example, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) or PVB (polyvinyl butyral). In the present embodiment, EVA is used as the material of the sealing layer 6.
- a light receiving surface layer 8 and a back sheet 10 are attached so as to face each other with respect to the sealing layer 6.
- the light receiving surface layer 8 is disposed on one surface (front surface 6 a) of the sealing layer 6, and the back sheet 10 is disposed on the other surface (back surface 6 b) of the sealing layer 6.
- the light receiving surface layer 8 is a layer for receiving sunlight, and forms the surface of the solar cell module 2.
- the light-receiving surface layer 8 is formed of a light-transmitting material so as to transmit sunlight similarly to the sealing layer 6. Examples of the material of the light receiving surface layer 8 include a transparent material or a translucent material such as glass or plastic.
- the back sheet 10 is a back material of the solar cell module 2.
- a current collection box 12 is bonded and fixed to the back side of the backsheet 10.
- the current collection box 12 is a box that collects electrical energy supplied via the metal wiring 5.
- the frame 14 is an outer frame for protecting the solar cell module 2 from physical impact.
- the frame 14 of this embodiment is screwed to the solar cell module 2. Examples of the material of the frame 14 include aluminum, iron, and plastic.
- the metal wiring 5 is included on the back surface 6 b side where the back sheet 10 is disposed, while the portion not including the metal wiring 5 is included on the front surface 6 a side where the opposite light receiving surface layer 8 is disposed.
- a predetermined thickness from the surface 6 a in the sealing layer 6 is a high-purity layer that does not include the metal wiring 5 and the solar battery cell 4.

Through these two stages of removal steps, the sealing layer 6 is removed to a depth where the sealing layer 6 having a predetermined thickness adheres to the light receiving surface layer 8 and remains. According to such a method, in the first stage, the sealing layer 6 (including the metal wiring 5) that does not include the solar battery cell 4 is recovered, and in the second stage, the sealing layer that includes the solar battery cell 4 is recovered. 6 can be recovered. That is, the sealing layer 6 including the solar battery cell 4 and the sealing layer 6 not including the solar battery cell 4 can be separated and collected, and subsequent processing can be performed according to each application.
