太陽電池モジュール2は、太陽光による光エネルギーを電気エネルギーに変換するものである。太陽電池モジュール2は、例えばソーラーパネルとして建物の屋上などに設置されている。図1に示すように、本実施形態にかかる太陽電池モジュール2は、複数の太陽電池セル4と、複数の金属配線5と、封止層6と、受光面層8と、バックシート10と、集電ボックス12と、フレーム14とを備える。
次に、上述した実施形態にかかる太陽電池モジュール2のリサイクル方法に関する実施例について説明する。
バックシート10の厚み :0.3mm
封止層6の厚み :1mm
太陽電池セル4の厚み :0.2mm
受光面層8の厚み :3.2mm
バックシート10の材質 :主にフッ素系樹脂とPETの複合フィルム
封止層6の材質 :主にエチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)
太陽電池セル4の材質 :主にシリコン
受光面層8の材質 :主にガラス
Claims (9)
- 太陽電池セルを封止する封止層と、封止層の一方の面と他方の面に配置された受光面層とバックシートとを積層してなる太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法であって、
バックシートを機械的に除去する第1の除去ステップと、
第1の除去ステップ後、バックシートを除去した側から封止層および太陽電池セルを研削することで、太陽電池セル全体を研削して除去するとともに、受光面層に所定厚みの封止層が付着して残る深さまで封止層を研削して除去する、第2の除去ステップと、
第2の除去ステップ後、受光面層に付着した封止層を、封止層を膨潤させる溶液に浸漬させることで受光面層から除去する第3の除去ステップと、を含む、太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。 - 第3の除去ステップにおいて、受光面層に付着した封止層を溶液に浸漬させた後に研削を行って除去する、請求項1に記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
- 第3の除去ステップにおいて、ブラシを用いて研削を行う、請求項2に記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
- 第2の除去ステップにより除去した太陽電池セルおよび封止層を粉砕する粉砕ステップと、
粉砕した太陽電池セルおよび封止層を溶液に浸漬させて比重分離する分離ステップと、をさらに含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。 - 粉砕ステップでは、アルカリ性炭化水素系溶剤を太陽電池セルおよび封止層に添加して粉砕を行う、請求項4に記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
- 分離ステップで用いる溶液は、温度上昇に伴う比重の変化率が、封止層の比重の変化率よりも小さい、請求項4又は5に記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
- 第2の除去ステップは、バックシートを除去した側から太陽電池セルに到達しない深さまで封止層を機械的に除去するステップと、残りの太陽電池セルを含む封止層を機械的に除去するステップに分けて実施される、請求項1から6のいずれか1つに記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
- 第3の除去ステップにおいて、封止層を膨潤させるための溶液は、水溶性の炭化水素系溶剤を含む中性剥離剤である、請求項1から7のいずれか1つに記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
- 封止層は、エチレン酢酸ビニル共重合体で形成される、請求項1から8のいずれか1つに記載の太陽電池モジュールのリサイクル方法。
