Definitions
- the present invention relates to a reel holding device that is used in combination with a feeder device installed in a component mounting machine and rotatably holds a component supply reel around which a component storage tape is wound.
- Equipment that produces boards with a large number of components mounted on them includes solder printers, component mounters, reflow machines, and board inspection machines. It has become common to configure a substrate production line by connecting these facilities.
- the component mounting machine includes a substrate transfer device, a component supply device, a component transfer device, and a control device.
- the component supply device there is a feeder device that feeds a component storage tape that stores components in a plurality of component storage units.
- a reel holding device that holds a component supply reel wound with a component storage tape in a rotatable and replaceable manner is used.
- Patent Document 1 One technical example regarding this type of reel holding device is disclosed in Patent Document 1.
- a first reel holding unit capable of holding a plurality of narrow first reels corresponding to a first feeder group, and a wide second reel corresponding to a second feeder group.
- a second reel holding portion that can be held.
- the second reel holding portion is a width direction restricting portion formed by juxtaposing a pair of rollers arranged to be rotatable around a rotation axis in the width direction and a plurality of partition portions protruding in a direction perpendicular to the width direction.
- the second reel holding portion holds the second reel in a state of being placed on the pair of rollers while being inserted between the partition portions. According to this, it is said that the first and second reels having different widths can be used together well without interfering with each other while the plurality of feeders are installed compactly in the first and second feeder groups.
- the pair of rollers support the outer periphery of the reel. Further, the width dimension of the roller can be applied from a narrow one corresponding to one reel to a wide one that supports a large number of reels collectively.
- the reel flange that forms the reel may be caught between the roller and the case side wall or between the rollers. If the reel is caught and cannot freely rotate, the feeding of the component storage tape is hindered and the component supply operation is hindered.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the background art, and provides a reel holding device that can stably rotate a component supply reel so that a component storage tape can be fed out reliably. Is a problem to be solved.
- the reel holding device of the present invention that solves the above-described problem is used in combination with a feeder device that feeds out a component storage tape that stores components in a plurality of component storage portions and can collect the components at a supply position.
- a reel holding device that rotatably and replaceably holds a plurality of component supply reels each wound with a storage tape, the case holding the plurality of component supply reels side by side in the direction of the reel axis,
- An outer peripheral support member that is spanned between two side walls and rotatably supports outer peripheries of the plurality of component supply reels so that the reel axes coincide with each other, and spanned between the two side walls.
- a deviation prevention member that faces the outer periphery of the component supply reel and prevents the component supply reel from deviating from the outer periphery support member.
- At least one of the members and the deviation preventing member is a rod-like member of one piece which is laid between the plurality of components the two side walls have a smooth surface that contacts the outer circumference of the supply reel.
- At least one of the outer peripheral support member and the deviation preventing member is a single-piece rod-like member that is stretched between two side walls. For this reason, there is no possibility that the plurality of component supply reels abut on the outer periphery of the single-piece bar-shaped member and the reel flange is caught between the rollers as in the prior art. Therefore, the reel holding device holds the component supply reel so as to be stably rotatable, and can reliably feed the component storage tape.
- FIG. 1 It is a perspective view which shows the structure of the reel holding device of 1st Embodiment. It is a side view which shows the use condition which combined the reel holding device of 1st Embodiment with the feeder apparatus. It is the top view which looked at the 1st reel holding part from the upper part. It is an enlarged plan view showing the structure near the reduced diameter portion of the departure prevention roller. It is the top view which looked at the 1st reel holding part of the prior art from the upper part. It is the top view which looked at the 1st reel holding part of a 2nd embodiment from the upper part.
- FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a configuration of a reel holding device 1 according to the first embodiment.
- the front side of the reel holding device 1 (the right rear side of the paper surface) is disposed to face the feeder device 9.
- FIG. 2 is a side view showing a use state in which the reel holding device 1 of the first embodiment is combined with the feeder device 9.
- the reel holding device 1 is disposed on the lower rear side of the feeder device 9.
- the reel holding device 1 includes a case 2, a first reel holding unit 4, a second reel holding unit 5, and the like.
- the case 2 is formed by joining two side walls 31 and 32 that are long in the front-rear direction so as to be spaced apart in parallel.
- the front side wall 32 is not shown.
- the first reel holding part 4 is provided near the front side of the internal space between the two side walls 31, 32, and the second reel holding part 5 is provided near the rear side of the internal space.
- the separation distance between the two side walls 31 and 32 is set according to the number of component supply reels 81 and 82 accommodated in the first reel holding unit 4 and the second reel holding unit 5.
- four component supply reels 81 and 82 are accommodated in the first reel holding unit 4 and the second reel holding unit 5 side by side in the direction of the reel axis.
- An upper mounting groove 33 extending in the front-rear direction is formed in the upper front end of the case 2.
- a lower mounting groove 34 extending in the front-rear direction is formed in the lower portion of the front end of the case 2.
- a bowl-shaped bottom mounting groove 35 is formed near the rear side of the bottom of the case 2.
- the upper mounting groove 33 and the bottom mounting groove 35 are used when the reel holding device 1 is mounted on a common pallet 98 described later.
- the lower mounting groove 34 is used in combination with the upper mounting groove 33 in another application, for example, when the front side of the reel holding device 1 is kept in a storage place.
- the first reel holding unit 4 includes two outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 and one deviation prevention roller 43. As shown in FIG. 2, the two outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 are spaced apart from the front and back of the first reel holding unit 4.
- the departure prevention roller 43 is disposed on the front side near the upper side of the first reel holding unit 4.
- the outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 and the deviation prevention roller 43 are cylindrical members that are long in the direction of the reel axis.
- the outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 and the deviation prevention roller 43 are rotatably supported around shaft members 411, 421, and 431 spanned between the two side walls 31 and 32, respectively.
- the separation distance between the front and rear outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 is smaller than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 81. Therefore, the front and rear outer periphery support rollers 41 and 42 rotatably support the outer periphery of the four component supply reels 81 and do not drop. A slight gap is generated between the outer periphery of the component supply reel 81 supported by the front and rear outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 and the deviation prevention roller 43.
- the separation distance between the outer peripheral support roller 41 on the front side and the deviation prevention roller 43 is smaller than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 81. Thereby, the deviation to the front side of the component supply reel 81 is prevented.
- the separation distance between the rear outer peripheral support roller 42 and the deviation prevention roller 43 is larger than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 8. Therefore, the component supply reel 81 can be taken in and out between the rear outer peripheral support roller 42 and the deviation prevention roller 43 from the obliquely upper rear side. That is, the reel insertion / removal portion 44 is formed between the outer peripheral support roller 42 and the deviation prevention roller 43.
- the second reel holding unit 5 is located behind the first reel holding unit 4.
- the second reel holding unit 5 includes two outer peripheral support rollers 51 and 52, a deviation prevention roller 53, and a tape guide roller 54.
- the two outer peripheral support rollers 51 and 52 are spaced apart from each other on the front and rear of the second reel holding unit 5.
- the departure prevention roller 53 is disposed on the front side near the upper side of the second reel holding unit 5.
- the tape guide roller 54 is disposed on the rear side near the upper side of the second reel holding unit 5.
- Each of the rollers 51 to 54 is a cylindrical member that is long in the axial direction.
- Each of the rollers 51 to 54 is rotatably supported around shaft members 511, 521, 531 and 541 spanned between the two side walls 31 and 32, respectively.
- the separation distance between the front and rear outer peripheral support rollers 51 and 52 is smaller than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 82. Therefore, the front and rear outer peripheral support rollers 51 and 52 rotatably support the outer periphery of the four component supply reels 82 and do not drop.
- the separation distance between the outer peripheral support roller 51 on the front side and the deviation prevention roller 53 is smaller than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 82. This prevents the component supply reel 82 from deviating forward and interfering with the front component supply reel 81.
- the separation distance between the rear outer peripheral support roller 52 and the tape guide roller 54 is larger than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 82. As a result, the component supply reel 82 can be taken in and out between the outer peripheral support roller 52 and the tape guide roller 54 from the rear, and the reel loading / unloading portion 55 is formed therebetween.
- the four outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52 and the two deviation prevention rollers 43, 53 correspond to an integral bar member of the present invention, and the rotatable bar roller of the present invention. It corresponds to a member. Furthermore, the four outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52, the two deviation prevention rollers 43, 53, and the tape guide roller 54 have the same shape. Similarly, members of the same shape are used for the shaft members 411, 421, 511, 521, 431, 531, 541 that support these rollers 41, 42, 51, 52, 43, 53, 54.
- the deviation prevention roller 43 and the shaft member 431 of the first reel holding unit 4 are selected as representatives of the same shape member, and the detailed shape will be described below.
- FIG. 3 is a plan view of the first reel holding unit 4 as viewed from above.
- the deviation prevention roller 43 supported by the shaft member 431 has a reduced diameter portion 432 at both ends. Since the outer peripheral surface excluding the reduced diameter portion 432 of the deviation preventing roller 43 is in contact with the outer periphery of the component supply reel 81, it is finished into a smooth cylindrical surface.
- FIG. 4 is an enlarged plan view showing the structure in the vicinity of the reduced diameter portion 432 of the departure prevention roller 43. As shown in the figure, the reduced diameter portion 432 is formed on both sides of a step portion 433 in which the outer diameter of the roller is reduced at a stroke. Without being limited thereto, the reduced diameter portion 432 may have a tapered shape in which the outer diameter of the roller is gradually reduced, a chamfered shape in which a chamfering process is performed on the roller end portion or the like.
- the component supply reel 81 is substantially rotationally symmetric around the reel axis AX.
- the component supply reel 81 is formed by fixing a large-diameter disk-shaped reel flange 84 to both end faces of a small-diameter columnar reel shaft 83.
- the component storage tape 85 is wound around a space 89 around the reel shaft 83 between the two reel flanges 84.
- the thickness of the reel flange 84 is T, and the separation distance between the two reel flanges 84 is D.
- the width dimension W in the reel axis AX direction of the reduced diameter portion 432 of the deviation prevention roller 43 is wider than the thickness T of the reel flange 84 and narrower than the separation distance D of the two reel flanges 84. Therefore, in the two component supply reels 81 ⁇ / b> B and 81 ⁇ / b> C closer to the center in the reel axial direction, the two reel flanges 84 can both come into contact with the departure prevention roller 43. On the other hand, in the two component supply reels 81A and 81D near the end in the reel axial direction, the reel reel 84M on the center side can abut against the deviation prevention roller 43, but the reel flange 84N on the end side has a reduced diameter portion 432. Therefore, it cannot come into contact with the deviation prevention roller 43.
- the common pallet 98 is detachably mounted on a component mounter (not shown). However, the common pallet 98 may be fixedly mounted on the component mounter.
- the common pallet 98 includes a feeder mounting portion 981 and a reel mounting portion 982.
- the feeder mounting portion 981 is formed by providing an upright portion on the front side of a substantially rectangular flat portion, and has a substantially L shape in a side view.
- Slots (not shown) extending in the front-rear direction are engraved along the width direction on the flat surface portion of the feeder mounting portion 981.
- the plurality of feeder devices 9 that are thin in the width direction are respectively inserted and mounted from the rear of the slot toward the front vertical portion.
- the feeder device 9 has a tape insertion port 91 in the vicinity of the intermediate height at the rear end, and an insertion lever 92 near the upper portion of the rear end. By lifting the insertion lever 92, the first and second component storage tapes 85 and 86 can be inserted into the tape insertion port 91 in order.
- a feeding rail 93 is disposed from the tape insertion opening 91 of the feeder device 9 toward the upper part of the front end.
- a supply position 94 is set on the upper surface near the front end of the feed rail 93.
- a tape controller 95 is provided above the vicinity of the rear end of the feeding rail 93.
- the tape control unit 95 allows the inserted first component storage tape 85 to be drawn out and causes the inserted second component storage tape 86 to wait.
- the tape controller 95 automatically allows the second component storage tape 86 to be fed out. Therefore, the splicing work for connecting the first and second component storage tapes 85 and 86 is not necessary.
- a specific configuration of the tape control unit 95 is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2014-82454.
- the feeder device 9 includes an unillustrated tape feeding mechanism constituted by a servo motor, a sprocket, and the like, and feeds the component storage tapes 85 and 86 to the supply position 94 along the feeding rail 93.
- the reel mounting portion 982 of the common pallet 98 includes two arm members 983, a front plate 984, a rear plate 985, and the like.
- One or a plurality of attachment devices 99 are fixed to the reel mounting portion 982.
- the two arm members 983 are fixed to the rear portions on both sides in the width direction of the feeder mounting portion 981.
- the arm member 983 is formed so as to extend in the horizontal rear at the beginning, then incline toward the rear lower direction, and finally extend in the horizontal rear.
- a forward plate 984 is passed so as to connect the inclined portions of the two arm members 983.
- a rearward plate 985 is passed so as to connect the horizontal portions behind the two arm members 983.
- the mounting device 99 includes a front bottom plate 991, a rear bottom plate 992, two side plates 993, an upper mounting rod 994, a bottom mounting rod 995, and the like.
- the front bottom plate 991 can be screwed to the inclined upper side of the forward plate 984.
- the rear bottom plate 992 can be screwed to the upper side of the rear transfer plate 985.
- the two side plates 993 are erected upward from both ends of the front bottom plate 991 and the rear bottom plate 992 in the width direction. In FIG. 2, the side plate 993 on the front side of the drawing is omitted.
- An upper mounting rod 994 is provided horizontally in the width direction so as to connect the front upper portions of the two side plates 993.
- a bottom mounting rod 995 is horizontally provided in the width direction so as to connect the lower portions on the rear side of the two side plates 993.
- the attachment device 99 is not limited in size in the width direction, and may be provided individually for each of the plurality of reel holding devices 1 or may be provided in common for the plurality of reel holding devices 1.
- the operator advances the reel holding device 1 from the rear toward the mounting device 99 and engages the upper mounting rod 994 in the upper mounting groove 33. Then, the operator lowers the rear part of the reel holding device 1 and slightly returns it to the rear, and inserts the bottom mounting rod 995 into the bottom of the bowl-shaped bottom mounting groove 35. The operator operates a lock member (not shown) to fix the reel holding device 1 to the mounting device 99 and attach it. Next, the worker fixes the attachment device 99 to the front plate 984 and the back plate 985 with screws, and finishes the mounting operation. As another method, the reel holding device 1 may be mounted on the mounting device 99 fixed in advance to the reel mounting portion 982.
- the reel holding device 1 is mounted at a position lower than the feeder mounting portion 981. Thereby, the attachment / detachment work of the feeder device 9 can be performed regardless of whether or not the reel holding device 1 and the attachment device 99 are attached. On the other hand, in a state where the feeder device 9 is mounted, any of the replacement operation of the mounting device 99 to which the reel holding device 1 is fixed, the replacement operation of only the reel holding device 1, and the replacement operation of only the component supply reels 81 and 82 are performed. It is possible.
- the operator pulls out the first component storage tape 85 from the component supply reel 81 of the first reel holding unit 4, passes the rear side and the upper side of the deviation prevention roller 43, and the feeder device 9. Insert into the tape insertion slot 91.
- the operator pulls out the second component storage tape 86 from the component supply reel 82 of the second reel holding unit 5 and inserts it into the tape insertion port 91 of the feeder device 9 through the rear side and the upper side of the tape guide roller 54.
- the two component storage tapes 85 and 86 are drawn out while being in contact with the deviation prevention roller 43 and the tape guide roller 54, respectively, and head toward the tape insertion port 91.
- the deviation prevention roller 43 also serves as a tape guide member.
- the feeder device 9 When the feeding of the first component storage tape 85 by the feeder device 9 is started, a feeding force acts on the component storage tape 85 in the first reel holding unit 4. As a result, the component storage tape 85 fed out to the feeder device 9 tends to cause the component supply reel 81 to escape from the outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42. However, since the outer periphery of the component supply reel 81 contacts the departure prevention roller 43, the departure is prevented.
- the operator removes the component supply reel 81 from the first reel holding unit 4,
- the component supply reel 82 of the two-reel holding unit 5 is moved to the first reel holding unit 4.
- the operator inserts a new component supply reel 82 into the second reel holding unit 5 and inserts the tip of the new component storage tape 86 into the tape insertion port 91 of the feeder device 9.
- FIG. 5 is a plan view of the conventional first reel holding portion 4X as viewed from above.
- the deviation prevention roller 49 is individually provided in order to reduce friction during rotation of the component supply reel 81. That is, four deviation prevention rollers 49 that are slightly longer than the separation distance D between the reel flanges 84 are supported by the shaft member 431 side by side in the direction of the reel axis.
- the reel flange 84 may be caught between the deviation prevention roller 49 and the side walls 31 and 32 or between the deviation prevention rollers 49. If the reel flange 84 is bitten, the component supply reel 81 is lifted with the biting position as a fulcrum, and the feeding of the component storage tape 85 is hindered to prevent the supply of good components.
- an outer peripheral support roller (not shown) is also provided for each component supply reel 81. Therefore, the reel flange 84 may be caught between the outer peripheral support roller and the side walls 31 and 32 or between the outer peripheral support rollers. When the reel flange 84 is caught and cannot freely rotate, the feeding of the component storage tape 85 is hindered, and the supply of good components is hindered.
- the reel holding device 1 of the first embodiment since the deviation prevention roller 43 is an integral part, the reel flanges 84, 84M, and 84N cannot be caught between the rollers. Even if a gap is generated between the departure prevention roller 43 and the side walls 31, 32, the diameter reduction portion 432 is provided in the departure prevention roller 43. Therefore, the reel flange 84N on the end side is engaged with this gap. It cannot happen.
- the action of preventing the reel flanges 84, 84M, and 84N from biting occurs similarly in the front and rear outer peripheral holding rollers 41 and 42. Therefore, the first reel holding unit 4 can stably hold the four component supply reels 81 in a rotatable manner. Similarly, the second reel holding unit 5 can hold the four component supply reels 82 in a stably rotatable manner.
- the reel holding device 1 is used in combination with a feeder device 9 that feeds out component storage tapes 85 and 86 that store components in a plurality of component storage units, respectively, and enables collection of components at a supply position 94.
- a reel holding device 1 that rotatably and replaceably holds a plurality of component supply reels 81 and 82 wound with component storage tapes 85 and 86, respectively, and holds the plurality of component supply reels 81 and 82 on a reel axis AX.
- a case 2 accommodated side by side and an outer periphery that spans between two side walls 31 and 32 of the case 2 and rotatably supports the outer periphery of a plurality of component supply reels 81 and 82 so that the reel axes AX coincide with each other.
- This is a single-piece rod-like member that has a smooth surface that abuts the outer periphery of the plurality of component supply reels 81 and 82 and is spanned between the two side walls 31 and 32.
- the outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52 and the deviation prevention rollers 43, 53 are formed as a single-piece rod-like member that is bridged between the two side walls 31, 32.
- the plurality of component supply reels 81 and 82 are in contact with the outer periphery of the outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52 and the deviation prevention rollers 43, 53, and the reel flange 84 is the roller There is no risk of biting between them. Therefore, the reel holding device 1 holds the component supply reels 81 and 82 in a stably rotatable manner, and can reliably feed out the component storage tapes 85 and 86.
- the plurality of deviation prevention rollers 49 provided for each of the component supply reels 81 and 82 in the prior art are integrated as the deviation prevention roller 43, and similarly, the outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, and 52 are also integrated. Therefore, the number of members is reduced, leading to cost reduction.
- outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52 and the deviation prevention rollers 43, 53 are rotatable rod-shaped roller members, and are formed on the reel flange 84 that forms the component supply reels 81, 82 at both ends, respectively.
- a reduced diameter portion 432 having a width W that is wider than the thickness T and narrower than the separation distance D between the two reel flanges 84 is provided.
- the reel flange 84N on the end side is formed in this gap. There is no risk of biting. This is because the end-side component supply reels 81A and 81D are in a state where the end-side reel flange 84N is lifted to face the reduced diameter portion 432, and are received on one side only by the center-side reel flange 84M or hit one side. Because. Therefore, the reel holding device 1 can hold the component supply reels 81 and 82 in a more stable and rotatable manner.
- outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52 and the departure prevention rollers 43, 53 have the same shape.
- the shaft members 411, 421, 511, 521, 431, 531, 611 for supporting these rollers 41, 42, 51, 52, 43, 53 have the same shape. Therefore, the types of members are reduced, leading to cost reduction.
- the deviation prevention roller 43 also serves as a tape guide member that guides the feeding of the first component storage tape 85 to the feeder device 9. According to this, the delivery path of the component storage tape 85 is stabilized, and the component storage tape 85 can be more reliably delivered. In addition, since a dedicated tape guide member is unnecessary, the number of members is reduced, leading to cost reduction.
- two outer peripheral support rollers 41 and 42 that rotatably support the lower part of the outer periphery of the plurality of component supply reels 81, and a deviation prevention roller 43 that faces the upper part of the outer periphery of the plurality of component supply reels 81 are provided.
- a separation distance 44 larger than the outer diameter of the component supply reel 81 is provided, and a reel loading / unloading portion 44 that allows the component supply reel 81 to be loaded and unloaded is formed. According to this, since only the component supply reel 81 can be replaced without removing the reel holding device 1 from the common pallet 98, the labor of component replenishment work is reduced.
- first reel holding portion 4 and a second reel holding portion 5 comprising two outer peripheral support rollers 41, 42, 51, 52 and deviation preventing rollers 43, 53 are provided, and two sets of reel holding portions 4, 5 Reel loading / unloading portions 44 and 55 are formed respectively. According to this, by using in combination with the reel holding device 1 and the feeder device 9 that does not require splicing work, the labor of component replenishment work is further greatly reduced.

Abstract
