以下、図面を参照しつつ、本願発明に係る平ベルト10、ベルト機構30、及び、昇降搬送装置50等の実施形態を説明する。平ベルト10は、図1に示すように、両端部を有するオープンエンドベルトである。また、ベルト機構30は、図3に示すように、平ベルト10と歯付ベルト20(図2参照)とを、継手31・41を介して輪状に連結したものである。また、昇降搬送装置50は、図5に示すように、上方に配置された平プーリ51と下部に配置された歯付プーリ52との間にベルト機構30を巻き掛けた構成をしている。
平ベルト10は、図1に示すように、端部11・12を有するオープンエンドベルトであり、長尺かつ薄厚のベルト本体部14と、ベルト本体部14の端部11・12の内面16にそれぞれ設けられた6個の凸状の歯部13(凸部に相当)とを有している。
歯付ベルト20は、図2に示すように、両端を有するオープンエンドベルトであり、長尺かつ薄厚のベルト本体部24と、ベルト本体部24の内面26に設けられた複数の歯部23とを有している。
ベルト機構30は、図3に示すように、平ベルト10と歯付ベルト20とを、継手31(第1継手に相当)及び継手41(第2継手に相当)を介して輪状に連結することにより構成されている。
一方、歯付ベルト20は、端部22に形成された6個の歯部23を、継手31の下板32の一方の端部32zに形成された7個の歯部33に噛み合わせ、端部21に形成された6個の歯部23を、継手41の下板42の一方の端部42zに形成された7個の歯部43に噛み合わせた状態で配置される(図3及び図4参照)。
昇降搬送装置50は、図5に示すように、上方に配置された従動プーリである平プーリ51と下部に配置された駆動プーリである歯付プーリ52との間にベルト機構30を巻き掛けた、2つのベルト昇降機構50a・50bを有し、ベルト昇降機構50aの継手41と、ベルト昇降機構50bの継手31との間に、搬送物56を載置する荷台55を取り付けている。
平ベルト10に設ける歯部13の形成方法としては、カッティングプロッターやウォータージェットにより歯形状を切削して形成する切削成形や、歯部形状を持つ金型により歯部13を成形するインジェクション成形などのように、歯部13のみを形成した後、ベルト本体部14に接合する方法が挙げられる。また、ロートキュアー方式により複数の歯部13を連続的に形成し、任意の個数分の長さにカットすることにより形成する連続成形も挙げられる。
次に、図10に示すように、上記熱プレス溶着により形成した本実施形態の平ベルト10の歯部13の歯せん断力を測定した。具体的には、平ベルト10の歯部13を歯せん断力測定装置90の歯部91に噛み合わせて、平ベルト10をベルト締付トルク1kgf・cm(ベルト幅1mmあたり)の圧力で挟み込み、平ベルト10を上方へ50mm/minのベルト引張速度で引っ張って、平ベルト10に形成した歯部13の歯せん断力を測定した。その結果、本実施形態の平ベルト10の歯部13の歯せん断力は、3.9kN/20mmであり、実施に耐えうる基準値(3.8kN/20mm)とほぼ同様の値を示した。
次に、ベルト機構30の製造方法について説明する。
まず、継手31・41に製造方法について説明する。なお、継手31及び継手41の構造は同じであるため、継手31のみの説明をする。
次に、図3及び図4に示すように、平ベルト10の幅方向中央が下板32の幅方向の略中央に配置されるように、端部11に形成された6個の歯部13を継手31の下板32の一方の端部32yに形成された7個の歯部33に噛み合わせ、端部12に形成された6個の歯部13を継手41の下板42の一方の端部42yに形成された7個の歯部43に噛み合わせた状態で配置する。
一方、図3及び図4に示すように、歯付ベルト20は、端部22に形成された6個の歯部13を継手31の下板32の一方の端部32zに形成された7個の歯部33に噛み合わせ、端部21に形成された7個の歯部23を継手41の下板42の一方の端部42zに形成された7個の歯部43に噛み合わせた状態で配置する。
その後、平ベルト10及び歯付ベルト20が下板32・42と上板34・44との間に挟まれるように、上板34・44を平ベルト10及び歯付ベルト20の上に載置する(係合過程)。
次に、上記過程を経て製造した本実施形態のベルト機構30の走行試験を行った。具体的には、輪状になったベルト機構30の歯付ベルト20側を歯付プーリ52(駆動プーリ、Dr:32歯)側に巻き掛け、平ベルト10側を平プーリ51(従動プーリ、Dn)側に巻きかけて、継手31におもり(CR重量:163.4kg)を付けた状態で、表1に示す条件下で、昇降(走行試験)を30万サイクル繰り返し、試験後のベルト機構30の歯せん断力、平ベルト10の伸び、歯部13の溶着部の剥離について評価した。結果を図11に示す。
上記本実施形態の平ベルト10によれば、平ベルト10の両端部11・12にそれぞれ形成された6個の歯部13を、継手31・41に形成された複数の歯部33・43に係合させて、継手31・41に固定するため、平ベルト10を継手31・41に強固に固定することができる。
また、平ベルト10及び歯付ベルト20の歯部13・23と、継手31及び41の歯部33・43が複数あるため、歯部13・23と歯部33・43とが係合する位置をずらすことにより、輪状のベルト機構30の周長を微調整することができる。
上記実施形態におけるベルト機構30では、平ベルト10と歯付ベルト20とを継手31・41を介して接続した構成にしているが、この構成に限られない。

また、本発明のベルト機構は本発明の平ベルトを少なくとも一つ含んでいればよく、複数含んでいてもよい。なお、本発明のベルト機構は、ベルト機構に含まれる平ベルトが全て本発明の平ベルトであることが特に好ましい。その場合、全ての継手が本発明の平ベルト及び歯付ベルトの両端部に形成された凸部と係合する凹部を有していることが好ましい。本発明の平ベルト及び歯付ベルトの両端部に形成された凸部を、継手に形成された凹部に各々係合させることにより、平ベルトと歯付ベルトとを輪状に強固に接続することができる。
また、本発明に係るオープンエンドの平ベルト及び歯付ベルトの凸部と、それらに係合する継手の凹部がどちらも複数あるため、凸部と凹部とが係合する位置をずらすことにより、輪状のベルト機構の周長を微調整することができる。
また、平ベルト10の歯部13と継手31の歯部33が複数あるため、歯部13と歯部33とが係合する位置をずらすことにより輪状のベルト機構130の周長を微調整することができる。
上記実施形態では、金属製の薄板状の金板を2枚含む継手を使用した取付方法について説明したが、本発明のベルト機構が用いられる環境に求められる条件を満足する限り、金属製の部材に限られない。また2枚の部材の材質はそれぞれ同一であっても異なっていてもよい。
本出願は、2014年10月31日付出願の日本特許出願2014-222612、及び2015年10月27日付出願の日本特許出願2015-210764に基づくものであり、それらの内容はここに参照として取り込まれる。

Claims (15)
- 継手に固定されるオープンエンドの平ベルトであって、
当該平ベルトの少なくとも一方の面の両端部に、前記継手に形成された複数の凹部に係合する複数の凸部が形成されている、平ベルト。 - 前記平ベルトは、
平状のベルト本体部と、
前記ベルト本体部の少なくとも一方の面の両端部に設けられた前記複数の凸部と、
を有し、
前記ベルト本体部は熱可塑性ウレタンにより成形され、周長方向に心体が埋設されている、請求項1に記載の平ベルト。 - 前記平ベルトは、
平状のベルト本体部と、
前記ベルト本体部の少なくとも一方の面の両端部に設けられた前記複数の凸部と、
を有し、
前記凸部は、前記ベルト本体部と同素材により成形されている、請求項1に記載の平ベルト。 - 平プーリと外周に複数の歯部が設けられた歯付プーリとの間に巻き掛けられるベルト機構であって、
該ベルト機構は、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載した前記平ベルトを一個、その他のオープンエンドベルトをn-1個(ただしnは2以上の整数)、及び継手をn個含み、
前記平ベルトの一端が第一の継手の一端に係合し、第一のその他のオープンエンドベルトの一端が前記第一の継手の他端に係合し、以下同様に第n-1のその他のオープンエンドベルトの一端が第n-1の継手の他端に係合し、該第n-1のその他のオープンエンドベルトの他端が第nの継手の一端に係合し、該第nの継手の他端に前記平ベルトの他端が係合し、輪を形成しており、
前記n-1個のその他のオープンエンドベルトはそれぞれ独立に平ベルト又は歯付ベルトであり、
前記平ベルト及び前記n-1個のその他のオープンエンドベルトからなる群から選ばれる少なくとも一つのベルトは、少なくとも一方の面の少なくとも一部に前記歯付プーリの前記複数の歯部と噛み合う複数の凸部を有し、
前記平ベルトと係合する第一の継手の一端及び第nの継手の他端が、前記平ベルトの複数の凸部と係合する複数の凹部を有する、ベルト機構。 - 複数のプーリ間に巻き掛けられるベルト機構であって、
該ベルト機構は、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載した前記平ベルト、及び、継手を1個含み、
前記平ベルトの一端が前記継手の一端に係合し、前記継手の他端に前記平ベルトの他端が係合し、輪を形成しており、
前記平ベルトと係合する前記継手の一端及び他端が、前記平ベルトの複数の凸部と係合する複数の凹部を有する、ベルト機構。 - 請求項4に記載のベルト機構であって、nが2である、ベルト機構。
- 請求項4~6のいずれか一項に記載のベルト機構であって、前記継手の少なくとも一つが、ベルト機構の周方向に分離可能である、ベルト機構。
- 請求項4~6のいずれか一項に記載のベルト機構であって、前記継手の少なくとも一つが、一端と他端が別部材で連結されている継手である、ベルト機構。
- 請求項4~8のいずれか一項に記載の前記ベルト機構と、
前記平プーリと、
前記歯付プーリと
を備え、
前記平プーリは、従動プーリであり、
前記歯付プーリは、前記平プーリよりも下方に配置された駆動プーリであって、
前記ベルト機構の前記平ベルトが前記平プーリに巻き掛けられ、前記ベルト機構の前記歯付ベルトが前記歯付プーリに巻き掛けられ、前記歯付プーリの順回転駆動及び逆回転駆動により、前記ベルト機構が昇降周動する、ベルト昇降機構。 - 請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の平ベルトを前記継手に固定する取付方法であって、
前記継手は、前記平ベルトの幅長よりも大きな幅長をした薄板状の部材を2枚有し、
前記平ベルトの幅方向中央が前記部材の幅方向の略中央に配置されるように、前記平ベルトに形成された複数の凸部を、少なくとも一方の前記部材に形成された複数の凹部に係合させて、前記2枚の部材によって前記平ベルトを挟み込む係合過程と、
前記平ベルトを挟み込んだ状態で2枚の部材を固定する固定過程と、
を含む、前記平ベルトを前記継手に固定する取付方法。 - 請求項10に記載の取付方法であって、
前記2枚の部材において、前記平ベルトを介さずに対向する位置を連通する連通孔を形成する連通過程をさらに有し、
前記固定過程において、前記連通孔に連通部材を挿入し前記2枚の部材を固定する、取付方法。 - 請求項11に記載の取付方法であって、
前記連通部材が螺子であり、該螺子を連通孔に挿入しボルトに螺合させることで前記2枚の部材を固定する、取付方法。 - 前記平ベルトの複数の凸部を、切削成形、インジェクション成形、又は連続成形により形成する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の平ベルトの製造方法。
- 前記平ベルトは、
平状のベルト本体部と、
前記ベルト本体部の少なくとも一方の面の両端部に設けられた前記複数の凸部と、
を有し、
前記ベルト本体部に、前記複数の凸部を溶着により接合する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の平ベルトの製造方法。 - 前記平ベルトは、
平状の平ベルト部と、
少なくとも一方の面に前記複数の凸部が形成された凸ベルト部と、
を有し、
前記平ベルト部と前記凸ベルト部とを継ぎ合わせることにより接合する、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の平ベルトの製造方法。
