また、保護フレーム構造体の全体で電池モジュールを保護する際に、中間フレーム体が上方に変形することで衝撃が吸収されるので、中間フレーム体を変形させないのに対して、全体としての軽量化を図ることができる。

保護フレーム構造体は、車体側に固定するロアフレーム体10と、その上に位置させる中間フレーム体20と、さらにその上に位置させるアッパフレーム体30にて構成されている。
図1(a)に示すように、ロアフレーム体10と中間フレーム体20にて電池モジュール等の搭載空間Vを形成し、中間フレーム体20とアッパフレーム体の間に上部空間Pを形成してある。
上部空間Pには、必要に応じて電源部の制御部品等の機器部品を搭載できる。
本実施例では、電池モジュールを車両の後部に搭載することを想定した場合で説明するが、これは図2(b)に示すようにリア側からFの外部荷重が入力され、保護フレーム構造体が変形するモードを想定した場合であって、電池モジュールの搭載位置によってフロント側とリア側との表現が逆になってもよい。
ロアフロントフレーム11,ロアリアフレーム12は、車両幅方向に延在させてあり、このロアフロントフレーム11とロアリアフレーム12とは、図2(c)に示すように中空断面形状からなるパネル状のロア連結フレーム15にて連結してある。
ロア連結フレームは、1つのパネル体であってもよいが、本実施例では部位により形状の異なる複数のロア連結フレームに分割した例となっている。
ロア連結フレーム15を例に説明すると、上面部15aと下面部15bからなる中空パネル体になっている。
3つのフレーム体10,20,30にて枠体を形成するために本実施例では、ロアフレーム体10の車両幅方向両側にロアサイドフレーム13,14を形成してあり、ロアリアフレーム12からパネル状のリア側の立設部12dをロアリアフレーム12から一体的に立設してある。
ロアフロントフレーム11は、中空部11aのベース面11dと上面部11eとから内側方向(後方)に上リブ11cと下リブ11bとを設けてある。
ロアリフレーム12は、中空部12aの上面から上リブ12c、下面から下リブ12bをそれぞれ内側方向に形成してある。
ロア連結フレーム15の前後方向の両側の端部は、ロアフロントフレーム11とロアリアフレーム12のそれぞれの上下リブ間に挿入し、中空部に突き当てた状態で溶接,ビス等により連結してある。
中間連結フレーム23は、複数のバー材に分割してある。
中間フロントフレーム21は、中空部21gの下面側から前方(外側)に向けて連結片部21hを延在させ、その先にフロント側の立設部を設けてある。
フロント側の立設部(21a,21b)は、リア側の立設部12dとともに電池モジュールの搭載空間Vを形成するためのものであり、立設部はロアフレーム体10側と中間フレーム体20のうち、どちら側に形成してもよく、また両方から形成し連結してもよい。
本実施例では、リア側の立設部12dをロアリアフレーム12から一体的に立設させ、フロント側の立設部(21a,21b)を中間フレーム体20の中間フロントフレーム21から垂下させた例になっている。
フロント側の立設部は、概ね垂直の垂直部21aと後方に向けて傾斜した傾斜部21bとからなり、下端側を折り曲げて連結部21cにし、この連結部21cに設けた取付孔21dを介してロアフロントフレームとビス41,ナット51による螺着締結する例になっている。
中間フレーム体20の中間リアフレーム22は、ナット52の挿入口22c及び取付孔22bを介して、リア側の立設部12dの途中に形成した連結片12fにビス42とナット52にて螺着締結する例になっている。
なお、図4に示すように中間リアフレーム122に設けた連結部122aとアッパリアフレーム132に設けた連結部132aとを重ねるようにして、ロアリアフレームの立設部12dに螺着締結してもよく、この部分の連結構造に制限はない。
中空断面形状からなる中間連結フレーム23の両側端末は、中間フロントフレーム側の上下フランジ部21j,21kと、中間リアフレーム側の上下フランジ部22d,22eの間に挿入され、溶接等にて連結されている。
中間連結フレーム23の下面部23a,上面部23bが、それぞれ下フランジ部21k,上フランジ部21jの内側に接し、且つ端面が中空部21gに突き当たるようにし、溶接接合されている。
また、中間フロントフレームの中空部21gと、フロント側の立設部の傾斜部21bとの上端部は連結片部21hで繋がれているので、上側には空間凹部21iが形成される。
この中間フレーム体は、図3に示すように中間フロントフレーム121A,121B及び中間リアフレーム122A,122B等に分割した複数のフレーム体であってもよい。
アルミニウム合金の押出材等にて製作した中空断面形状からなるアッパフロントフレーム31と中空断面形状からなるアッパリアフレーム32との間を中空断面パネル形状のアッパ連結フレーム33にて連結してある。
アッパフレーム体30は、蓋部としての機能を有する。
アッパフロントフレーム31の中空部31aの上面部31bから内側後方に向けて上フランジ部31eと下フランジ部31dを形成してあるが、上フランジ部31eよりも下フランジ部31dのフランジ長さが長くなるように設定してある。
なお、アッパフレームの変形モードによっては図4に示すように、上フランジ部131eの方を下フランジ部131dより長くしたアッパフロントフレーム131にしてもよい。
アッパリアフレーム32は、中空部の上面部32dの内側前方に上フランジ部32bと下フランジ部32aを形成してあるが、上フランジ部32bよりも下フランジ部32aのフランジ長さが長くなるように設定してある。
中空断面パネル形状からなるアッパ連結フレーム33の前後方向両側の端部は、それぞれ上下フランジ部(31e,31d),(32b,32a)との間に上面部33b,下面部33aが接するように挿入され、溶接等にて連結されている。
アッパフロントフレーム31は、中空部の上面の作業孔及び下面に設けた取付孔31fを介して、中間フレーム体の中間フロントフレーム21に設けた取付片部21eの上端部21fとビス43,ナット53による螺着締結される。
アッパリアフレーム32は、リア側の立設部12dの上端部12eに中空部の下面部32cが載置するように連結されている。
ロアフレーム体10は、ロアフロントフレーム11の中空部11aとロアリアフレーム12の中空部12aとが、中空断面形状のロア連結フレーム15の端面にて突き当たるように連結されている。
中間フレーム体20は、中間フロントフレーム21の中空部21gと中間リアフレーム22の中空部とが、中空断面形状の中間連結フレーム23の端面に突き当たるように連結されるとともに、フロント側立設部の傾斜部21b及びリア側立設部12dとは、下フランジ部21k,22e延長線上にてそれぞれ連結されている。
アッパフレーム体30は、アッパフロントフレーム31の中空部上部側とアッパリアフレーム32の中空部上部側にて、中空断面形状からなるアッパ連結フレーム33にて連結され、上フランジ部31e,32bのフランジ長さよりも下フランジ部31d,32aのフランジ長さの方が長く設定されている。
保護フレーム構造体のリア側から外部荷重Fが加わると、その衝撃荷重はロアフレーム体10,中間フレーム体20及びアッパフレーム体30全体に伝播する。
この際に電池モジュールの搭載空間Vの変形モードとしては、図1(a)に示した連結基部C1~C4を起点にした変形になる。
中間フロントフレーム21に形成したフロント側の立設部が垂直部21aと傾斜部21bからなり、ロアフロントフレーム11との連結基部C1の位置が中間連結フレーム23側の連結基部C2よりも前方に位置しているので、この連結基部C2が斜め下方に移動するように変形し、中間連結フレーム23が上方に向けて変形するきっかけとなる。
また、中間連結フレーム23の両端部は、下フランジ部21k,22e側にてフロント立設部及びリア側立設部と連結され、フロント側には空間凹部21iが形成されているので、さらに中間連結フレーム23の中央部が上方に撓むようにd1の方向に変形する。
これにより、電池モジュールの搭載空間Vが維持され、保護される。
また、本実施例では、アッパフレーム体30のアッパ連結フレーム33の両側端部を挿入連結した上下一対のフランジ部のうち、下フランジ部31d,32aのフランジ長さの方が上フランジ部31e,32bの長さよりも長く設定してあるので、上方に向けてd2の方向に変形しやすく、逆に上部から下方に向けての荷重に対しては、下フランジ部と両側のアッパフロントフレーム31,アッパリアフレーム32の中空部で支えるので、変形荷重が高くなる。
これにより、上部空間Pに機器部品を搭載した場合に、これらの部品も保護する。
Claims (3)
- ロアフレーム体、中間フレーム体及びアッパフレーム体を連結した保護フレーム構造体であって、前記ロアフレーム体と当該ロアフレーム体の上部に位置する中間フレーム体とで電池モジュールの搭載空間を形成し、
前記中間フレーム体と当該中間フレーム体の上部に位置するアッパフレーム体の間に上部空間を形成し、
保護フレーム構造体に外部荷重が入力されると、前記中間フレーム体が上方に向けて変形するものであることを特徴とする保護フレーム構造体。 - 前記ロアフレーム体は、車両幅方向に延在し車両前後方向に対向配置したロアフロントフレームとロアリアフレームとを有し、前記ロアフロントフレームとロアリアフレームとの間をロア連結フレームにて連結してあり、
前記中間フレーム体は車両幅方向に延在し車両前後方向に対向配置した中間フロントフレームと中間リアフレームとを有し、
前記中間フロントフレームと中間リアフレームとは中間連結フレームにて連結してあり、ロアフロントフレームと中間フロントフレームとは、一方又は両方のフレームに設けたフロント側立設部を介して連結してあり、
ロアリアフレームと中間リアフレームとは、一方又は両方のフレームに設けたリア側立設部を介して連結してあり、
前記フロント側立設部のロアフロントフレームからの立上基部の位置が、前記中間フロントフレーム側の基部よりも前方外側に位置していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の保護フレーム構造体。 - 前記中間フロントフレームは上下一対のフランジ部有し、
前記中間連結フレームの端部は前記上下一対のフランジ部の間に挿入連結してあり、
前記中間フロントフレームとフロント側立設部との連結位置が前記上側のフランジ部よりも下側のフランジ部よりに位置していることを特徴とする請求項2記載の保護フレーム構造体。
