ここでいう「継手本体部の外周面上で、内部流路の中心軸から外れる位置」とは、内部流路の中心軸及びその延長線上ではない外周面位置を意味する。従って、この発明の樹脂製管継手では、継手本体部の外周面と、中心軸ないしその延長線とが交わる位置には、上記の位置決め部が存在しない。
また上述した樹脂製管継手では、前記位置決め部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が継手本体部の外周面上に延びる一本以上の帯状凸部又は帯状凹部とし、前記位置決め部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が円形状をなす円形凸部又は円形凹部とし、前記帯状凸部又は帯状凹部上に、前記円形凸部又は円形凹部を配置することが好ましい。
この場合においては、前記位置決め係合部を、挟込み保持部の前記表面上に延びて互いに交わる二本以上の帯状窪み部分又は帯状突起部分で構成するとともに、それらの帯状窪み部分又は帯状突起部分の交点上に、前記円形窪み部分又は円形突起部分を配置することが好ましい。
この発明の一の実施形態に従う樹脂製管継手1は、たとえば薬液等の液体もしくは気体その他の流体を流す配管の一部を構成するためのものであって、図1に示すように、該流体を流動させる内部流路2を有する中空の継手本体部3と、継手本体部3の、図では三個の開口部分のそれぞれに形成されて、たとえば継手本体部3よりも外径を小さくした溶着端部4とを備えてなる。
この樹脂製管継手1を構成する材料としては、たとえば、パーフルオロアルコキシアルカン(PFA)、パーフルオロエチレンプロペンコポリマー(FEP)又はポリエーテルエーテルケトン(PEEK)等を挙げることができるが、ここで挙げた材料以外のものを用いることも可能である。
それにより、この継手本体部3は、その途中で二股に分岐する、これも略T字状の内部流路2を有する。
この実施形態では、図1(c)に示すところから解かるように、内部流路2の中心軸CLを隔てて互いに反対側に位置する表面側及び裏面側の二個の位置決め部5を設けている。なお図中の符号PLは、平面視でT字状に互いに交わる内部流路2の中心軸CLの交点を通って、該中心軸CLを含む平面に対して直交する垂線を示す。
その際に、樹脂製管継手1の各位置決め部5が、クランプ治具51の各位置決め係合部54に嵌まり込むので、樹脂製管継手1は、クランプ治具51の表面52a、53aの間の、所期したとおりの位置に配置されて、正確に位置決めされることになる。それにより、樹脂製管継手1は、継手本体部3が、内部流路2の中心軸CLを中心としてその両側から、クランプ治具51の対向する表面52a、53aによって挟み込まれて、位置ずれなしに確実に保持される。
その結果として、樹脂製チューブ部材もしくは他の樹脂製管継手との溶着を、常に高い精度で行うことができて、高い品質の管路を形成することができる。さらにここでは、クランプ治具51に保持させた際の、樹脂製管継手1の位置合わせの作業が不要になるので、作業時間を短縮できるとともに工数を削減することができる。
図1及び2に示す実施形態のように、クランプ治具51の対向する板状部分52及び53のそれぞれに、位置決め係合部54のそれぞれを設けるとともに、樹脂製管継手1の継手本体部3の表面側及び裏面側のそれぞれに、位置決め部5のそれぞれを設けることは、クランプ治具51の両板状部分52及び53により、樹脂製管継手1がより確実に位置決め保持される点で好ましい。
この場合、クランプ治具の位置決め係合部を、たとえば、平面視の輪郭形状が円形状をなす円形窪み部分とすれば、樹脂製管継手1の円形凸部5が当該円形窪み部分に嵌まり込んだ状態で、そこを支点に、図4に矢印で示すように、樹脂製管継手1を回転変位させることができるので、樹脂製管継手1をクランプ治具から取り外すことなしに、複数個の溶着端部4への、樹脂製チューブ部材もしくは他の樹脂製管継手の端部の溶着を行うことができる。
しかもここでは、クランプ治具51の位置決め係合部54を、対向する表面52a、53aの先端縁Eに開口させたことにより、クランプ治具51の対向する表面52a、53aの間への、樹脂製管継手1の挿入・配置を容易に行うことができる。
図5に示す他の実施形態では、樹脂製管継手21の継手本体部23の外周面の表面側及び裏面側のそれぞれに、位置決め部として、その外周面から隆起した形態で、外周面上に直線状に延びる帯状凸部26、27を設け、さらに、この帯状凸部26、27上に、それらの帯状凸部26、27よりも高く突出する円形凸部25を設けている。
より具体的には、図5の実施形態では、平面視で、継手本体部23の内部流路22の中心軸CLの延在方向と一致させて、二本の帯状凸部26、27を略T字状に設け、それらの帯状凸部26、27の交点上に、円形凸部25を配置している。
なお図示しないが、樹脂製管継手21の帯状凸部26、27を帯状凹部とし、円形凸部25を円形凹部とすることも可能であり、それに対応させて、クランプ治具71の帯状窪み部分75、76を帯状突起部分とし、円形窪み部分74を円形突起部分とすることも可能である。また同様に図示しないが、樹脂製管継手の互いに交差する帯状凸部の交点上に円形凹部を設けることや、樹脂製管継手の互いに交差する帯状凹部の交点上に円形凸部を設けること等の様々な組み合わせも可能である。
この発明では、クランプ治具の対向する表面に、位置決め係合部を設けることに加えて、図7に例示するように、挟み込む継手本体部の外周面形状に倣う形状に形成することができる。
図7に示すところでは、クランプ治具81の対向する表面82a、83aのそれぞれに、挟み込む樹脂製管継手31の略T字状の継手本体部33の外周面形状に倣って、継手の挿入方向に沿って延びる縦溝85及び、縦溝85に直交して延びる横溝86を設け、これらの縦溝85及び横溝86の溝壁面を、継手本体部33の外周面形状に整合する曲面状にしている。
図8に示す溶着機101は、一対のクランプ治具81a、81bと、それらのクランプ治具81a、81bを、図の左右方向に相対変位させる往復駆動手段102と、クランプ治具81a、81bに保持させた樹脂製管継手ないし樹脂製チューブ部材の端部を加熱する加熱装置103とを有するものである。
そしてここでは、同図からは明らかではないが、半リング部分104a、104bの相互を連結するヒンジ機構等により、環状開閉手段104の半リング部分104a、104bが、図9に矢印で示す方向に変位する開閉動作に伴い、それぞれに取り付けた板状部分82、83の各表面82a、83aを互いに離隔・接近変位させることができる。それにより、樹脂製管継手等を、クランプ治具81a、81bの表面82a、83aの間に配置し、又は、その間から取り出すことができる。図8に示すこの溶着機101では、他方のクランプ治具81aも、一方のクランプ治具81bと同様の構造を有する。
また、クランプ治具の対向する表面を、離隔・接近せずに固定したものとすることもできる。樹脂製管継手の材質や厚み、形状によっては、樹脂製管継手を弾性変形させて縮めた状態で、クランプ治具の固定された表面の間に挟み込ませることができるからである。
図10に示す溶着機101は、一対のクランプ治具81a、81bのうちの一方側のクランプ治具81bを取り外して、その一方側を、上述した環状開閉手段104としたものであり、この環状開閉手段104により、樹脂製チューブ部材41の外周面の長手方向の一部を全周にわたって取り囲んで保持することができる。

Claims (11)
- 流体を流動させる内部流路を有する継手本体部と、該継手本体部の開口部分に形成されて、配管用の樹脂製チューブ部材の端部あるいは他の樹脂製管継手の端部と突き合わせて溶着される溶着端部とを備え、前記樹脂製チューブ部材あるいは前記他の樹脂製管継手との溶着に当り、クランプ治具が有する挟込み保持部の対向する表面の間に、前記継手本体部が挟み込まれて保持される樹脂製管継手であって、
前記継手本体部の外周面上で、該継手本体部の内部流路の中心軸から外れる位置に、前記挟込み保持部の対向する表面の少なくとも一方に設けた位置決め係合部に嵌まり込む一個以上の位置決め部を設けてなる樹脂製管継手。 - 前記継手本体部の外周面に、前記挟込み保持部の対向する各表面に設けた前記位置決め係合部のそれぞれに嵌まり込む前記位置決め部を設け、それらの前記位置決め部を、前記継手本体部の内部流路の中心軸を隔てて互いに反対側に位置する外周面領域のそれぞれに配置してなる請求項1に記載の樹脂製管継手。
- 前記継手本体部が途中で二股に分岐する内部流路を有し、それぞれの内部流路の中心軸の交点を通り前記中心軸に垂直な方向の前記継手本体部の外周面の両面に、前記位置決め部を配置してなる請求項1又は2に記載の樹脂製管継手。
- 前記位置決め部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が円形状をなす円形凸部又は円形凹部としてなる請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂製管継手。
- 前記位置決め部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が継手本体部の外周面上に延びる一本以上の帯状凸部又は帯状凹部とし、前記位置決め部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が円形状をなす円形凸部又は円形凹部とし、前記帯状凸部又は帯状凹部上に、前記円形凸部又は円形凹部を配置してなる請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の樹脂製管継手。
- 互いに間隔をおいて対向する表面を有する挟込み保持部を備え、樹脂製管継手と樹脂製チューブ部材あるいは他の樹脂製管継手とのそれぞれの端部を互いに突き合わせて溶着するに当り、前記挟込み保持部の対向する表面の間に、前記樹脂製管継手の継手本体部を挟み込んで保持するクランプ治具であって、
前記挟込み保持部のそれぞれの、挟込み保持される樹脂製管継手の前記継手本体部に接触する前記表面の少なくとも一方に、該継手本体部の外周面に設けた位置決め部に嵌まり込む一個以上の位置決め係合部を設けてなるクランプ治具。 - 前記挟込み保持部の対向する表面のそれぞれに、樹脂製管継手の継手本体部の外周面に設けた二個以上の位置決め部のそれぞれに嵌まり込む位置決め係合部を設けてなる請求項6に記載のクランプ治具。
- 前記位置決め係合部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が円形状をなす円形窪み部分又は円形突起部分としてなる請求項6又は7に記載のクランプ治具。
- 前記位置決め係合部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が挟込み保持部の前記表面上に延びる一本以上の帯状窪み部分又は帯状突起部分とし、前記位置決め係合部の少なくとも一個を、平面輪郭形状が円形状をなす円形窪み部分又は円形突起部分とし、前記帯状窪み部分又は帯状突起部分上に、前記円形窪み部分又は円形突起部分を配置してなる請求項6又は7に記載のクランプ治具。
- 前記位置決め係合部を、挟込み保持部の前記表面上に延びて互いに交わる二本以上の帯状窪み部分又は帯状突起部分で構成するとともに、それらの帯状窪み部分又は帯状突起部分の交点上に、前記円形窪み部分又は円形突起部分を配置してなる請求項9に記載のクランプ治具。
- 樹脂製管継手と樹脂製チューブ部材とのそれぞれの端部を突き合わせて溶着するための溶着機に対し、当該クランプ治具を着脱可能とする連結固定部をさらに備える請求項6~10のいずれか一項に記載のクランプ治具。
