置換度2.4のセルロースアセテートの代わりに、置換度2.9のセルロースアセテートを11.4g使用し、4-ヘプタデシリデン-3-ヘキサデシルオキセタン-2-オン(R2=R3=C16H33である一般式(3’)で表される化合物)の使用量を7.0gに変更したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を実施し、目的の化合物2を11.2g得た。
化合物2の置換度x及びyを1H-NMR測定により求めた。結果を表1に示す。なお、以下の実施例で得られた生成物の置換度x及びyも同様にして求めた。
[化合物3(セルロースアセテート(2-ヘキサデシル-3-オキソエイコサノエート)、R1=CH3である一般式(1)で表される基、及びR2=R3=C16H33である一般式(2’)で表される基を有し、x=2.4、y=0.3であるセルロース誘導体)の合成]
4-ヘプタデシリデン-3-ヘキサデシルオキセタン-2-オン(R2=R3=C16H33である一般式(3’)で表される化合物)の使用量を13.0gに変更したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を施し、目的の化合物3を9.3g得た。
[化合物4~18の合成]
実施例1と同様にして、表1に記載のセルロースエステル(原料セルロースエステル;R1及びxは表1に示す通り)と環状ラクトン化合物(一般式(3’)で表される化合物;R2及びR3は表1に示す通り)とを反応させ、表1に記載の化合物4~18(セルロース誘導体;x、y、及びzは表1に示す通り)を得た。
[化合物19(セルロースアセテートプロピオネート(2-ヘキサデシル-3-オキソエイコサノエート))の合成]
メカニカルスターラー、温度計、冷却管、及び滴下ロートを取りつけた0.5Lの三ツ口フラスコに、セルロースアセテートプロピオネート(アルドリッチ社製、アセチル%=0.6%、プロピオニル%=42.5%)11.3g、及びN,N-ジメチルイミダゾリジノン200gを加え、60℃で1時間攪拌して溶解させた。次に、60℃で、N-メチルイミダゾール5.6gを加え、続いて、4-ヘプタデシリデン-3-ヘキサデシルオキセタン-2-オン(R2=R3=C16H33である一般式(3’)で表される化合物)28.0gを加えた後、さらに60℃で3時間攪拌した。反応後、室温に戻るまで放冷し、反応溶液を2-プロパノール1200g中へ激しく攪拌しながら投入すると、白色固体が析出した。白色固体を吸引ろ過によりろ別し、2-プロパノールで3回洗浄を行った。得られた白色固体を80℃で12時間乾燥させることにより、目的の化合物19を24.6g得た。
Claims (9)
- セルロースが有する水酸基の水素原子の一部又は全部が置換基により置換されたセルロース誘導体であって、
置換基として、一般式(1)で表される基及び一般式(2)で表される基を有し、一般式(1)で表される基の置換度x、一般式(2)で表される基の置換度y、及び未置換度zが、下記式(A)、式(B)、及び式(C)を満たすセルロースアシレート-オキソアルカノエート。
0.1≦x≦2.99 (A)
0.01≦y≦2.90 (B)
z=3-x-y (C)
[一般式(1)中、R1は、炭素数1~10のアルキル基、直鎖若しくは分岐鎖状の不飽和炭化水素基、又は置換基を有していてもよい芳香族基を示す。]
[一般式(2)中、R2及びR3は、同一又は異なって、水素原子、炭素数1以上のアルキル基、直鎖若しくは分岐鎖状の不飽和炭化水素基、又は置換基を有していてもよい芳香族基を示す。pは、1~10の整数を示す。但し、pが1の場合、R2及びR3は、同時に水素原子とはならない。] - R1がメチル基、エチル基、又はプロピル基である請求項1又は2に記載のセルロースアシレート-オキソアルカノエート。
- R1がメチル基である請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のセルロースアシレート-オキソアルカノエート。
- R2及びR3が、同一又は異なって、炭素数6~30のアルキル基である請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のセルロースアシレート-オキソアルカノエート。
- R2及びR3が、同一又は異なって、炭素数10~20のアルキル基である請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のセルロースアシレート-オキソアルカノエート。
- x及びyが、下記式(A’)及び式(B’)を満たす請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のセルロースアシレート-オキソアルカノエート。
