本発明の第1実施形態としてのリングバイトユニット101を用いた内面ビード切削部周辺の溶接管製造装置100について、図1を用いて説明する。溶接管製造装置100は、内面ビード切削部周辺において、リングバイトユニット101、マンドレル102、ワークコイル103などを含む。
次に本発明の第2実施形態に係るリングバイトユニット600について、図6、図7を用いて説明する。図6、図7は、本実施形態としてのリングバイトユニット600およびその製造方法を示す図である。

Claims (7)
- 製造中の溶接管内部に溶接位置の上流から挿入されるマンドレルの下流側端部に保持され、前記溶接管の内面に発生したビードを切削するための切削工具としてのリングバイトユニットであって、
リング状の刃を備えたリングバイトを、
前記リングバイトの外周を抱き込むための円孔を有するスリーブに対して、
嵌合させて形成されたことを特徴とするリングバイトユニット。 - 前記リングバイトは、上面が傾斜した円柱形状に形成され、
前記スリーブの上面は、前記リングバイトの傾斜した上面よりも傾斜していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリングバイトユニット。 - 前記スリーブは、常温下において、前記リングバイトの外径よりも小さい内径を有する円柱形状に形成され、
前記リングバイトの周方向に圧縮力を加えるように、前記スリーブに前記リングバイトを嵌合させて形成されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のリングバイトユニット。 - 前記スリーブは、多角形の外周形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のリングバイトユニット。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のリングバイトユニットに用いられるスリーブ。
