Abstract

강판의 결함 탐상 장치 및 방법이 제공된다. 강판의 결함 탐상 장치는, 제1 자화극 및 제2 자화극을 통해 강판을 자화시키기 위한 자속을 발생시키는 자화부와, 발생된 자속이 결함을 통과할 때 누설되는 누설 자속의 세기를 검출하는 누설 자속 검출부를 포함하며, 누설 자속 검출부는, 제1 자화극 및 제2 자화극의 하부의 중앙에서 강판의 주행 방향 또는 반대 방향으로 이격되게 배치되되, 강판의 양면 중 자화부가 배치된 면의 반대면 쪽에 배치되는 제1 누설 자속 검출부와, 제1 자화극 또는 제2 자화극 중 적어도 어느 하나의 하부 방향에 배치되되, 강판의 양면 중 자화부가 배치된 면 쪽에 배치되는 제2 누설 자속 검출부를 포함함으로써, 낮은 증폭율로도 강판의 결함 검출이 가능하다.
