Abstract
溶接部に前処理を施すこと無く、溶接部の表面のみならずその内部若しくは深部を、また、溶接部近傍母材の欠陥をも検出することができる溶接部欠陥検出方法及び装置を提供する。
欠陥検出すべき溶接部に励磁コイルから交流磁界を印加し、この溶接部を通る交流磁界によって誘導コイルに誘導起電力を発生させ、誘導コイルに発生した誘導起電力の振幅及び位相のうちの少なくとも一方の、基準誘導起電力の振幅及び位相のうちの少なくとも一方に対する変化量を求めることにより溶接部の欠陥を検出する。
