Description

ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット及びワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットの製造方法
　この発明は、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットに関する。
　ロッカパネルなどの車体パネルにワイヤーハーネス及びカーペットを固定する技術が、これまでにも提案されている（例えば、特許文献１）。

　しかしながら、特許文献１に記載のカーペット留め具は、カーペットを、２つの固定部分（差し込み部及び係止突起）を介してロッカパネルに固定するものであった。このため、従来のカーペット留め具の場合、カーペット及びロッカパネルのそれぞれに形成された孔に対応した複数の固定部分を設ける加工が必要であった。このため、加工コストの低減が求められていた。
　本発明は、上記課題に鑑みなされたものであり、車体パネルに対するワイヤーハーネス及びカーペットの取り付けを、低コストで行う技術を提供することを目的とする。

　保持片部４には、保持片部４の基端側の部分から先端側の部分に向けて延びるスリット状の細隙孔４１が形成されている。本実施形態では、細隙孔４１は、帯状の保持片部４の長手方向に沿って一方向に延びている。この細隙孔４１に、取付部５が差し込まれることによって、保持片部４がカーペット本体部３に取り付けられる。
　取付部５は、いわゆるブラッシュクリップであって、挿通部５１と、頭部５３と、挟持部材５５とを備えている。取付部５は、樹脂製であってもよいし、あるいは、金属製であってもよい。挟持部材５５は、挿通部５１及び頭部５３とは別部材とされている。
　挿通部５１は、保持片部４及びカーペット本体部３を貫通する部分である。より詳細には、挿通部５１は、保持片部４に形成された細隙孔４１、カーペット本体部３に形成された貫通孔３３に差し込まれる。挿通部５１には、挿通部５１の径方向外側に広がる複数の鍔部が、軸方向に沿って配されている。各鍔部の幅（挿通部５１の軸方向に直交する方向の長さ）は、貫通孔３３または細隙孔４１の幅よりも若干大きくなっている。このため、挿通部５１を貫通孔３３または細隙孔４１に挿通すると、貫通孔３３または細隙孔４１の裏側周縁部が鍔部に係止される。なお、この鍔部は可とう変形するように構成されていてもよい。これによって、挿通部５１を、貫通孔３３または細隙孔４１に容易に挿通することができる。
　頭部５３は、挿通部５１の端部に設けられており、上面が緩やかに凸状に湾曲した傘形状を有している。図１に示されるように、取付部５は、カーペット本体部３の表面Ｆ１の側から、カーペット本体部３の貫通孔３３に差し込まれ、さらに、カーペット本体部３の裏面Ｂ１側に折り返されている保持片部４の細隙孔４１に差し込まれる。これによって、カーペット本体部３の貫通孔３３の表側周縁部が頭部５３に係止される。
　挟持部材５５は、挿通部５１に取り付けられている。挟持部材５５は、中央に孔が設けられた環状構造を有しており、当該孔に、挿通部５１が挿通される。挟持部材５５の中央に形成された孔の幅は、挿通部５１の鍔部の幅よりも若干小さくなっている。このため、挟持部材５５は、挿通部５１の鍔部に係止される。挟持部材５５は、頭部５３との間でカーペット本体部３及び保持片部４を挟み込む。
　挟持部材５５の頭部５３に向く面には、先端の尖った尖状突起部５５１が複数設けられている。尖状突起部５５１は、挟持部材５５が挿通部５１に通された際に、カーペット本体部３側へ押されることによって保持片部４にめり込むことができる。これによって、頭部５３・挟持部材５５間で、カーペット本体部３及び保持片部４を強固に挟み込むことができる。これによって、車体パネル９に取付後のカーペット本体部３が足で踏まれたりした際に、カーペット本体部３または保持片部４の位置がずれることを抑制できる。
　また、図１に示される様に、取付部５は、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット１を車体パネル９に取り付けるのに用いられる。詳細な図示は省略するが、車体パネル９に形成された取付孔９１に挿通部５１が差し込まれることによって、挿通部５１の鍔部が取付孔９１の裏面周縁部に係止され、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット１が車体パネル９に取り付けられる。
　次に、ワイヤーハーネス２をカーペット本体部３に固定する方法を詳細に説明する。まず、図２に示されるように、ワイヤーハーネス２は、カーペット本体部３の裏面Ｂ１の側において、カーペット本体部３の縁部３１に沿うように配置される。このワイヤーハーネス２に対して、複数の保持片部４が、カーペット本体部３側へ折り返されることによって、ワイヤーハーネス２に重ねられる。
　次に、保持片部４のワイヤーハーネス２を覆う部分よりも先端側の位置において、取付部５が細隙孔４１に差し込まれる。さらに、該取付部５が、カーペット本体部３の貫通孔３３に差し込まれる。そして、図３に示されるように、挟持部材５５が挿通部５１に取り付けられることによって、ワイヤーハーネス２がカーペット本体部３に対して固定される。
　なお、本実施形態では、貫通孔３３が、縁部３１に沿う方向に関して、帯状の保持片部４の基端部（付け根部分）と同位置に設けられている。換言すると、貫通孔３３は、保持片部４の基端部と、縁部３１に沿う方向に直交する方向に隣接している。本実施形態では、保持片部４は、縁部３１に沿う方向に直交する方向に延びているため、保持片部４の先端側の部分を折り返す方向は、保持片部４の長手方向と一致している。
　なお、貫通孔３３を、縁部３１に沿う方向に関して、保持片部４の基端部とは異なる位置に設けてもよい。この場合において、保持片部４がカーペット本体部３から延びる方向を、貫通孔３３の保持片部４の基端部に対するずれに合わせて傾けてもよい。これによって、保持片部４を折り返して取付部５で固定した際に、保持片部４に捩れが生じることを抑制できる。
　本実施形態に係るワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット１によると、カーペット本体部３にワイヤーハーネス２が予め取り付けられている。このため、車両メーカーは、車体パネル９に、取付部５を差し込むだけで、カーペット本体部３及びワイヤーハーネス２を取り付けることができる。これによって、作業工程数を減らすことができるため、製造コストを低減することができる。また、同一の取付部５の挿通部５１によって、ワイヤーハーネス２及びカーペット本体部３を車体パネル９に固定することができる。したがって、ワイヤーハーネス２及びカーペット本体部３を車体パネル９に固定する部品の加工コストを抑えることができる。
　また、車体パネル９に、ワイヤーハーネス２及びカーペット本体部３をそれぞれ個別に取り付ける場合、それぞれの取付部品のための孔を、車体パネル９に設ける必要がある。これに対して、本実施形態では、ワイヤーハーネス２及びカーペット本体部３を車体パネル９に固定する際、取付部５を挿通するための取付孔９１は１つで済む。すなわち、車体パネル９の加工費用を抑えることができる。
　また、本実施形態では、カーペット本体部３の表面Ｆ１の側から裏面Ｂ１の側に向けて、取付部５の挿通部５１が挿通され、表面Ｆ１の側には頭部５３のみが露出することになる。このため、車体パネル９に取り付けられたカーペット本体部３に足で踏まれるなどの衝撃が加わったとしても、挿通部５１が車室側に出てくることが抑制されるため、カーペット本体部３が破損することが抑制される。
　＜２．　変形例＞
　以上、実施形態について説明してきたが、本発明は上記のようなものに限定されるものではなく、様々な変形が可能である。
　例えば、上記実施形態では、１つの保持片部４に、１つの細隙孔４１が形成されている。しかしながら、１つの保持片部４に、複数の貫通孔が形成されていてもよい。例えば、保持片部４の長手方向に沿って並ぶように複数の貫通孔を設けておけば、該複数の貫通孔のうち、ワイヤーハーネス２の太さに適した貫通孔に取付部５を挿入することで、太さの異なるワイヤーハーネスに対応することができる。
　また、上記実施形態では、保持片部４は帯状とされているが、保持片部４の形状はこのようなものに限定されない。例えば、保持片部４が、カーペット本体部３の縁部３１に沿って長尺状となるように形成されていてもよい。このような長尺状の保持片部に、細隙孔４１と同様の細隙孔を縁部３１に沿って複数設けて、全部または一部の細隙孔に取付部５を挿通させてもよい。これによって、長尺状の保持片部を複数箇所で固定することができるため、ワイヤーハーネス２を適切に保持することができる。
　また、保持片部４は、カーペット本体部３と一体的に設けられているものとするが、別体であってもよい。例えば、保持片部４を別体とした場合、該保持片部４の基端側の部分にも挿通部５１を貫通させることで、保持片部４の基端側の部分をカーペット本体部３に連結されるようにしてよい。ただし、上記実施形態のように、保持片部４をカーペット本体部３と一体に形成しておく方が、保持片部４の基端側の部分をカーペット本体部３に連結させる作業を省略できるという点で有利である。
　また、本実施形態では、保持片部４がカーペット本体部３の縁部３１に設けられている。しかしながら、保持片部４カーペット本体部３の縁部３１以外の位置に設けることも考えられる。例えば、保持片部４をカーペット本体部３とは別部材とすることで、カーペット本体部３の任意の位置に保持片部４を取り付けることが可能である。
　また、上記実施形態では、取付部５の挿通部５１に挟持部材５５を取り付けることによって、頭部５３・挟持部材５５間でカーペット本体部３及び保持片部４を挟持するようにしている。しかしながら、例えば、挿通部５１に設けられた複数の鍔部によって、保持片部４を係止することが可能であれば、挟持部材５５を省略することも可能である。
　また、上記実施形態では、カーペット本体部３及び保持片部４に、取付部５の挿通部５１を挿通するための孔（貫通孔３３及び細隙孔４１）が形成されている。しかしながら、孔を形成する代わりに、例えば、カーペット本体部３または保持片部４に切り込みを設け、この切り込みに取付部５を挿通することも考えられる。また、孔を形成する代わりに、挿通部５１の先端部を鋭利にして、該先端部をカーペット本体部３及び保持片部４に突き刺して貫通させることも考えられる。この場合、保持片部４をカーペット本体部３に対して任意の位置に固定することができる。
　この発明は詳細に説明されたが、上記した説明は、すべての局面において、例示であって、この発明がそれに限定されるものではない。例示されていない無数の変形例が、この発明の範囲から外れることなく想定され得るものと解される。

Claims (7)

  1. 　車体パネルに取り付けられるワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットであって、
    　カーペット本体部と、
    　カーペット本体部に配されたワイヤーハーネスと、
    　基端側の部分が前記カーペット本体部に連結しており、先端側の部分が折り返されることによって、前記カーペット本体部とともに前記ワイヤーハーネスを包んで保持する保持片部と、
    　前記保持片部における前記ワイヤーハーネスを覆う部分よりも先端側の部分、及び、前記カーペット本体部を挿通部が貫通することによって、前記保持片部を前記カーペット本体部に取り付ける取付部と、
    を備え、
    　前記挿通部が前記車体パネルに挿通されることによって、前記カーペット本体部が前記車体パネルに取り付けられる、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット。
  2. 　請求項１に記載のワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットにおいて、
    　前記保持片部の基端側の部分が、前記カーペット本体部と一体である、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット。
  3. 　請求項１または２に記載のワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットおいて、
    　前記カーペット本体部には、貫通孔が形成されており、
    　前記保持片部には、少なくとも前記保持片部の基端側から先端側に向けて延びる細隙孔が形成されており、
    　前記挿通部が、前記貫通孔及び前記細隙孔に挿通される、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット。
  4. 　請求項１から３の何れか１項に記載のワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットにおいて、
    　前記取付部は、
    　　前記挿通部の基端側に設けられている板状の頭部と、
    　　前記挿通部に取り付けられ、前記頭部との間で前記カーペット本体部及び前記保持片部を挟持する挟持部と、
    　をさらに備えている、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット。
  5. 　請求項４に記載のワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットにおいて、
    　前記挟持部における、前記頭部に対向する面に、尖状突起部が設けられている、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット。
  6. 　請求項４または５に記載のワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットにおいて、
    　前記頭部が、前記カーペット本体部の表側に配されている、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペット。
  7. 　車体パネルに取り付けられるワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットの製造方法であって、
    (a) カーペット本体部に配されたワイヤーハーネスを、前記カーペット本体部とともに、基端側の部分が該カーペット本体部に連結している保持片部で包む工程と、
    (b) 前記保持片部における前記ワイヤーハーネスを覆う部分よりも先端側の部分、及び、前記カーペット本体部に、挿通部を貫通させることによって、前記保持片部を前記カーペット本体部に取り付ける工程と、
    を含み、
    　前記挿通部が前記車体パネルに形成された孔に挿通されることによって、前記カーペット本体部が前記車体パネルに取り付けられる、ワイヤーハーネス付きカーペットの製造方法。
