Ledit pneumatique est muni d'une ceinture et d'une bande de roulement, la ceinture et la bande de roulement étant formées en agençant séquentiellement : une carcasse toroïdale qui s'étend entre une paire de tringles; une couche de ceinture inclinée agencée radialement sur l'extérieur de la carcasse et formée en recouvrant les tringles avec du caoutchouc, les tringles s'étendant à l'oblique par rapport à la direction circonférentielle du pneumatique; des couches de ceinture circonférentielles qui sont formées en recouvrant les tringles avec du caoutchouc, les tringles s'étendant dans la direction circonférentielle du pneumatique; et des couches de ceinture transversales qui sont formées en recouvrant les tringles avec du caoutchouc, les tringles s'étendant dans une direction oblique par rapport à la direction circonférentielle du pneumatique et les tringles des différentes couches se croisant les unes avec les autres. La couche de ceinture inclinée est agencée au niveau d'au moins une section centrale. La largeur des couches de ceinture circonférentielles est supérieure ou égale à 70 % de la largeur de la section transversale du pneumatique. Le nombre de couches des couches de ceinture circonférentielles au niveau de la section centrale est inférieur au nombre de couches de cette dernière au niveau des sections d'épaulement.
