- US 2,722,309 discloses a pills dispenser in which a pusher is provided in a box-shaped housing which is slidable to release a dispensing opening. After removing a pill, the slide can then be returned to a closed position.
- the operation of such a slide is relatively cumbersome because it can easily jam due to frictional forces and the narrow handle portion must be contacted exactly with the finger. In most cases, an operation with only one hand is poorly possible, and further, the slider must be moved in both the opening and closing direction.
- the dispenser comprises a push button on the housing, by means of which the closure element can be pivoted by pressing in order to at least partially release the dispensing opening, so that one or more pills can be removed.
- the push button can then be moved back into the starting position via the at least one spring, so that the dispensing opening is automatically closed via the closure element.
