Definitions
- the invention relates to a protective jacket, insbeson ⁇ particular acke a Brandschutzj, with an integrated harness system for an emergency backup and -abseilung according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the latch and the attached "lanyard” can pose a significant threat to the firefighter in the event of a fall as it is at the solar plexus level.A strong pressure on this sensitive point can cause dizziness and unconsciousness in extreme situations Cases but also lead to death.
- the closure of the belt is in this case produced by means of ei ⁇ nes carabiner, in particular a twist block carabiner which can be engaged in a ring or a loop at the other end of the belt.
- a carabiner is used, the schlie ⁇ tder snapper must be raised against a spring force and or rotated to reach here an opening.
- a separately attached and separately carried lanyard is also newly developed in the belt system according to the invention, which consists of a ring, depart from the two band sections, each with a terminal snap hook.
- the securing band or the lanyard is used in combi nation ⁇ with a connecting means consisting of 2 carbines and 1 metal ring for self-locking, and in an emergency rescue by colleagues.
- the connection of the belt system with the lanyard via a carabiner which is latched into a corresponding ring on the tether system and then hooked either with the second close carabiner directly to a breakpoint, for example, to a corresponding eyelet on a ladder, or with the help of the lanyard as a rescue sling wrapped around an object and then in turn connected to the carabiner, for example, in the eye of the lanyard to a loop.
- the belt system according to the invention consists of the belt running around ⁇ , which is guided in a back support, and the attacking lanyard.
- the back support is fixed with ei ⁇ nem Velcro in the middle of the back in the interior of the jacket.
- the 2 free ends of the belt system integrated in the jacket are guided laterally outwards in the front chest area and stored there in 2 pockets worked on the jacket laterally in the chest area.
- the free ends suitably carry red handle bottles for better visibility, which are attached to the outside of the pockets with Velcro.
- the two free ends of the belt system are connected only when necessary with the new developed quick - release fastener of the click lock , its positive end piece and negative end piece
- Lock receptacle at one end of the belt system are firmly attached ⁇ introduced .
- An alternative design, in which the tail is a loop formed by an O-ring back to the castle ⁇ recording is closer in the description described.
- the lanyard's lanyard can be tucked away in one of the jacket's other pockets.
- the red handle tabs serve to pull the free ends of the strap out of the pockets as needed.
- the newly developed quick release can be ge ⁇ closed even when wearing gloves.
- the connecting means of the lanyard can be hung with a carabiner and the other carabiner can be hung on a turntable for securing purposes.
- several connecting means can be attached as straps on the ring.
- the structure is designed such that one of the lock elements, for example the lock body, is fastened to a shorter strap section of this strap end and in this case the latching body to be inserted into this click lock is fastened to a further second strap section at this strap end ⁇ Longer is formed.
- FIG. 1 shows a front view of a protective jacket 1 with not yet closed belt system 2,
- Figure 2 is an unfolded jacket 1 with the interpret ⁇ tem course of the belt system 2,
- FIG. 5 shows an alternative design of the belt system
- FIG. 6 shows the lan yard used as securing band 5.
- the combination of these figures makes the Funkti ⁇ on way of the invention Gargurtsystems 2 clearly.
- Figure 1 shows an example of a possible form, as the tether system 2 is guided in a protective acke 1 and in this case can be pulled out of special openings 6 in Housebe ⁇ rich jacket 1. It is hereby broken lines, the course 7 of the harness in the jacket 1 at ⁇ interpreted, the ter extends in the back portion 8 horizontally below the Schulterblät- about to be then performed prior to the breast upwards.
- the click lock itself consists of the eigentli ⁇ chen lock body 13 and an end piece as latching body 14 for insertion into this lock body 13, both elements represent flat design forms to stow them easily on the one hand in the jacket 1 and again to remove and the other to reduce the dangers of pressure on the chest, for example in the event of a fall.
- the latching body 14 of the lock has only a narrow nose 15, which must be inserted into the wide receptacle of the lock body 13, whereby the simple closure of the belt system 2 becomes clear.
- FIG. 2 shows once more how the belt 2 should run in the jacket 1.
- the back of the jacket 1 is shown, which has a wide Füh ⁇ tion and connection cover 16 of the belt system 2, with which the belt system 2, for example, with Velcro fasteners on the back of the jacket 1 is attached. From there, a guide of the belt system 2 in ascending course to the outlet openings 6 takes place in the chest area of the protection acke. 1
- FIGS 3 and 4 show a possible design of the tether 2 in a singular representation without protective jacket 1. It can be seen that a flat broccolisabde ⁇ cover 16 of the belt 2 is provided for the back area, which is also the comfort of carrying useful. Starting from this area, the actual belt sections are angeord ⁇ net, which have at their respective free ends a closing element 13, 14 of the click lock.
- FIG. 5 shows another design of the restraint belt system 2, in which a separately arranged D
- Ring shape is used, but in which a 0 or D-ring 3 forms an end of the tether system 2.
- a corresponding drawstring 10 is arranged to this end of the shark tegurtsystems 2 from the cover 12 of the protective ack 1 to pull out.
- Figure 6 shows the backup tape 5 or lanyard ge ⁇ forms a central O-ring 21, depart from the two band portions 22 having snap hook engêt notedn 18th
- the snap hook 18 are in this case on the one hand for attachment to the tether 2 of the protection acke 1 and there angeord ⁇ Neten D or O-ring 3 suitable, on the other for attachment, for example, to a retaining eye of a conductor or to form a loop in conjunction with
- one end of a band portion 22 is wrapped around an object and the loop thus formed by closing the carabiner 18 in the O-ring 3 is closed.
